[Dueling Desires]


Hello, and welcome to the Casting Call for my Fire Emblem Heroes: Forging Bonds Fandub! This is a relatively small project that will focus on voicing over the dialogue in the main conversations in the Forging Bonds mode from the mobile game Fire Emblem Heroes. While we will be starting off with the Dueling Desires event, should there be enough interest, we may make more Casting Calls for this project in the future for different Forging Bonds stories. 

This Casting Call will be for the Dueling Desires event, which features Loki, Aversa, Owain and Kliff, as well as the Askr Trio (Alfonse, Sharena, and Anna) that appear in most Forging Bonds events.


Rules for Auditioning:

Please speak clearly and have as little background noise as possible: We want to be able to hear your beautiful voices in as quality a way as possible! If you lack the ability to speak clearly or have a lot of background noise in your auditions, it will hurt your chances of being cast, no matter how good you act.

Show emotion: If you show the ability to act and show emotion in your audition, it will help your chances of being cast!

Please have a Discord account: We will be using Discord to contact each other and send in lines! If you don't have one, I highly suggest you make one so we can contact you easier.

Long story short - don't be mean: If you are cast, please be polite to other cast members, and even if you're not cast, please be kind about other peoples auditions and potentially even give constructive criticism! We're all friends here!

Take note of any roles that are marked as reoccurring in the roles available: Some roles in this Casting Call may be needed for other Forging Bonds events, such as the Askr Trio I mentioned earlier in this description. In these cases, your talent may be needed for more events, and as such you should keep that in mind when auditioning for those characters. If you audition and are cast for any of these reoccurring roles, you may be expected to voice your character for more than just this event specifically.

Have fun, and don't be afraid to audition!: This project is entirely for fun, and we aim to have a cast that can enjoy what they do! There's no pressure to be had here.


Lastly, keep in mind that if you are not cast in this Casting Call, there may be more roles available in future Casting Calls! Don't be discouraged if you don't make it this time!

  • Update + Deadline Extended!

    Hello, everyone! Thank you so much for the interest in this project! I'm in love with all the auditions you guys uploaded. I am posting this update to let you all know that due to a somewhat lack of auditions for most of the female characters in this Casting Call, I will be extending the deadline for all roles for around another two weeks, until the 28th. This is to give more time for any extra auditions for the female cast members, while also keeping the male roles open for fairness. However, if all goes as planned, this will be the one and only extension, so please get any auditions out there for me to hear before then! Again, thank you so much for your interest, and I apologize for the sudden extension. Please keep up the great auditions, and good luck to all of you!

The Prince of Askr and a member of the Order of Heroes. He is kind and serious. Eager to maintain peace, Alfonse aims to protect his kingdom from the Emblian Empire alongside his sister, Sharena.

I'm looking for Alfonse to have a serious tone to his voice, that makes him sound mature and calm. His voice should be medium-low in pitch as well, but please feel free to audition with whatever voice you feel fits best for Alfonse!

  • (Has an informative tone, serious) "Some of our kingdom's subjects objected when I joined this order. But I wanted to do my part. Still, there are others who say that I don't behave like a prince ought to anyway."

  • (Wondering, thoughtful and serious) "Of course, as royalty, you must put the lives of your people first. You're obligated to protect them, after all. Yet, when I ask myself the same question...I would do everything in my power to save others as well. I want to protect my people, but wouldn't the best course be to seek to save the most lives?

  • (Thankful, kind) "Please, remain with us, Kiran? I fear that our war with Embla will soon challenge us like never before. The Order of Heroes needs you."

This is a reoccurring role.


The Princess of Askr and Alfonse's sister. She is cheerful, and loves making friends- especially with Heroes. Like her brother, Sharena is commanded by Anna, the leader of the Order of Heroes, and she seeks to protect her kingdom from the Emblian Empire.

For Sharena, I am looking for a medium-high pitched voice that sounds excited and sweet, but please feel free to audition with whatever voice you feel fits best for Sharena!

  • (Cheerful, excited) "I'm going to be friends with every Hero - ever! Oh, what a grand party it will be!"

  • (Curious and interested) "Alfonse! Commander Anna! Over here- you can see the whole thing! It's been untouched for so long, it's practically in ruins. What do you think it was used for?"

  • (Thoughtful and curious, before becoming cheerful again) "Ohh, I understand. But what should I wish for? Hmm... What will your wish be, Alfonse?" ... "There you go again! Always with the perfect answer. Well, I'll wish to get along with my brother. That way, the two of us won't ever grow apart! Oh, but I don't want to grow apart from Kiran or Commander Anna, or the Heroes... I've got it! I'll wish to get along with everybody, forever!"

This is a reoccurring role.


A veteran fighter who leads the Order of Heroes. She is Alfonse and Sharena's commander, and alongside the Askran Prince and Princess, she aims to protect Askr from the Emblian Empire.

Anna's voice should be around a medium pitch, able to be commanding in her speech but also show comfort.

  • (Having an informative tone) "We can revive Heroes who fall during battle as long as you're with us, Summoner. Still, though this reverses the ravages of the battlefield, they feel pain- just as we do."

  • (Delivering bad news) "We don't know. Though the Order of Heroes has been doing its best to keep an eye on her...we failed. That's not the worst of it, I'm afraid. The Hero she's contracted is said to be the strongest in all the worlds..."

  • (Commanding, strong) "Listen up, everyone. There's no need to defeat them now. Just stay safe and make it through the battle. Do what you can to use up time, and don't try anything reckless!"

A strategist for Múspell, the Kingdom of Flame. She likes to play tricks and manipulate people. She has the ability to disguise herself as other people, and she seems to have taken interest in the Summoner.

Loki's voice should be medium pitch and sound both playful and seductive.

  • (Playful) "What do I want? The joy of destroying worlds, and spreading chaos... Would you rather stare at a stone sitting by the side of a road, or watch it tumble down a cliffside? As it tumbles, it may, of course, crumble into dust... And yet..."

  • (Curious) "The power to summon... The Kingdom of Askr's ability to open gates to other realms... I'm sure you've pondered them. Don't mysteries like these make you want to uncover every little detail?"

  • (Intrigued) "Looking back on it now, I just can't stop myself from laughing... The look on Alfonse's face when you summoned me... It tickled me so. In fact, they all looked so...crestfallen. But you and the other Heroes you've gathered...you have welcomed me into your ranks. You trust me to fight side by side with you. What a fascinating little group you've gathered, Kiran..."

A wily mage who serves Gangrel of Plegia. Excels at using her charm to disarm and then destroy her foes. She appears in Fire Emblem: Awakening.

I want Aversa's voice to be deep and seductive, with a hint of seriousness to it.

  • (Sweet and playful, while introducing herself) "Please, call me Aversa. My, you're adorable. If you don't watch out, I'll tease you mercilessly."

  • (Analytical) "We must first consider the situation. Thoughtlessness could prove fatal. Do we have a map of the area?" ... "Look closely. With terrain like this, a small group could pursue them with ease."

  • (Remorseful) "You think I look sad? You don't miss much, do you? It's true. I have many regrets. I've done terrible things to a lot of people. There is no way I can atone for it all... My past clings to me. No matter what I do, I can't make peace with it. And whenever I try to speak with others, well...it gets in the way."

Lissa's son who tends to be overly theatrical. He loves to give weapons dramatic names. He appears in Fire Emblem: Awakening.

Owain should be theatrical and dramatic at almost all times- having a medium pitch but having a high range. He also should be shouting most of his lines, and be able to show it in his acting.

  • (Dramatic, heroic) "I am a Brave Hero! One of the chosen few, elected by forces that the mortal mind dare not try and comprehend! You would call upon me? I am ready! I shall charge forth, the cry echoing in my throat! RADIANT DAAAAAAA-"

  • (Dramatic and shocked, fearful) "Emergency! This is an emergency! Sound the alarm! Light the signal fire! Kiran! I need you! I was just out for a stroll when I spied a Hero identical to myself! What foul specter is responsible for this?!"

  • (Starting off theatrical, but then fades to a more awkward tone) "Chosen warrior of hope from a dire future...I am Owain Dark! And with the full force of my power, I- Er, huh? No time for that? Oh, um... I'm Lissa's son from the future. Nice to meet you."

Alm's childhood friend from Ram Village. He loves learning, and hungers to see more of the world. He appears in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia.

I'm looking for a more bored and serious tone for Kliff's voice, while being able to show curiosity through it.

  • (Sounding bored) "I've spent so much time in the library here. I'm getting bored. Why don't you show me around? I bet they let you go anywhere."

  • (Explaining, a little upset) "Honestly, I wanted to ask you something. Do I have a bad attitude? My friends say I do. It's true, isn't it? I don't know why, but just about everything irritates me. Maybe it's because I'm young. I'm not free to do what I want... I feel like I'm still waiting to grow up."

  • (Curious, then having a more informative tone) "Are you two... sisters? Cousins maybe?" ... "It's not your looks, exactly... But there is something about the two of you. It's eerie."
