FFXIV Stormblood (Ending)
Project Overview
This is gonna be full ending fandub for YouTube of a Final Fantasy XIV's Stormblood patch. The runtime of final product is about 40 minutes long. Final Fantasy XIV is owned by Square-Enix and this is only meant for entertainment purposes only. I'm doing this fan re-dub just for the reason that I didn't like English voice acting on the game at all.

... let's face it. Making fandub of this game seem to be pointless. I haven't got even half enough auditions to the project as I wished. and I just can't do this project with missing roles. So I have to drop this one too. Sadly. Sorry about that... but I just can't do this unless I would have gotten enough auditions which didn't happen to at least half of the charactes.

Casted part of the roles
I've casted and locked some roles. You all are still welcome to try your luck on remaining characters :) -
Edited the project a bit
So seeing as how some of the lines were too long, I've taken liberty of shorten them a bit. and edited the project a bit as well. Hopefully you guys and girls can audition better without reading like a novel lenght audition lines xD
[when Zenos asks her what she's gonna do with the Eikon behind him if he moves away from it] Kill it.
[when Zenos asks her to be his friend after all the evil things he's done] I deny you.
[various of different expression noises]
Heh heh heh heh... Ahahahahahaha! Yes, yes! Such ferocity, such tenacity! I am loath to recall how disappointed I was when first we fought... but finally, FINALLY, after bathing in the blood and offal of your enemies, finally you prove yourself worthy prey for the hunt!
[darkly & menancingly] Man should fight for the joy of it. To live, to eat, to breed--lesser beasts snap and howl at one another for this. Only man has the wisdom and the clarity to embrace violence for its own sake.
[to Lyse after she went on about death and destruction he and his men caused] Meaningless? Men die that others may live. Those who survive are stronger for it. Not that you could ever understand.
Lyse is laid-back and has no problem speaking whatever is on her mind in any situation, more often than not speaking inappropriate things—and being scolded by Papalymo right after. She has no qualms asking others directly about any subject, instead of trying more subtle means. She is also not very knowledgeable, often needing Papalymo to explain certain things to her. Despite all this, she does act more seriously upon a crisis, as well as being optimistic. She is an apt fighter, but rarely gets into fights needlessly. Together with Papalymo prior to his demise, she provides most of the game's comic relief.
[shouting angrily to Zenos] Zenos! Is that what this was all about? All the meaningless death and destruction? So you could feel something!?
[narrative] In crimson it began, and in crimson it ended. And then... and then we were free. But what is freedom, really? We may be free to live, to love, to grow old. To have dreams and desires, and to strive for them. But in the end, we're defined by the legacy our forefathers bequeth to us.
[To all the Scions of Seventh Dawn around her] "Thank you" doesn't really suffice, doesn't it? I'm grateful... truly grateful, from bottom of my heart. But I know you didn't fight so hard just to hear me or anyone else say that.
[shouting to Zenos about to kill himself] Coward!
[after Raubahn asked where's Zenos] He's dead. By his own hand.
Liberty or death. That so many should be forced to take up his creed to defeat such madness...
[after the death of Zenos, comes running in with Pipin and Hien] Where is he?
Then justice has been done.
[To Lyse] We won. Forget him. The living have need of us now.
Hien is a non-player character from Final Fantasy XIV, first appeared in Stormblood expansion pack. He is the heir to the throne of Doma, succeeding the late king and his father Kaien.
[sadly he only have one spoken line in these ending cutscenes] Stand tall, Lyse! Now is the time to raise a cheer for all who fought for freedom! A cheer loud enough to carry to the highest heavens!
Well, well, well, what a fine mess we've made.
All but spent feeding that primal, eh? Well, you won't be making any mischief with that amount of aether.
[Estinien destroys the Nidhogg's eyes.] There. There ends your hateful legacy.
In his mind, Varis believes his actions are just as he is willing to kill all beastmen to ensure the removal of Primals. He also has no love for his family, as he was seen spitting on the coffin of his uncle, after outsing him from the throne.
[To Elidibus, after the death of his son Zenos] I know what he was. Monsters are not made for thrones. Nor are stars made to sustain false gods who sup on their very essence.
Compression. Resurrection. All is in service to your "one true god." And when the sundered shards are made whole, will there be a place for us mere mortals?
...What nonsense.
In contrast to Lahabrea, Elidibus is polite and diplomatic, attempting to meet both Minfilia and the adventurer on peaceful terms. This seems to be at odds with the other Ascians, who are cold at best to the Scions. He is secretive and enigmatic, and expresses an interest in the balance of Light and Darkness.
[To Varis zos Galvus] My condolences for your loss. A father should not outlive his son.
You do not mourn his loss? ...You surprise me, Your Radiance. He was your son and heir... and an irreplaceable test subject.
Should you raise a hand against my black-robed brethren, I will not stop you. Our desires are one and the same. Preservation. Restoration.
[After Lyse has announced of that she cannot be a Scion while she's bound on duties left her by Conrad, sighs] Am I to understand that you summoned us all--some of us still nursing wounds--to hear this?
[laughing to Lyse's reaction] Hahaha! Forgive me, Lyse! 'Twas but a jest. [serious] But this I say with the utmost sincerity: Scion or no, we are comrades. Now and ever after.
There you have it. Come what may, you may count on us in your hour of need. We shall never refuse you.
Gosetsu is boisterous in both his words and actions. He is also carries an incredible pride for his nation, to the point of refusing to acknowledge starvation in the face of imminent duty to his homeland. When the prospect of fighting for his nation is brought up, hesitation can instantly turn into joyous agreement. Gosetsu also carries immense confidence in his combat abilities, standing directly in front of the Warrior of Light when faced against a squadron of Garlean soldiers.
Come back here, you slippery little devil! *grumble* To think fishing could be so difficult! What greater proof of a man's lingering mortality than an empty belly. A fate worse than death.
Fie on it. To have arrived at the appointed place and time, only to survive by mere force of habit. Truly, the kami are not finished with us yet.
[shouting in disbelief] O capricious fortune! How you test me with this wretched soul...
Cid is known to be intelligent, good-natured and dutiful. He lives to see his magitek creations used to help improve the lives of people and loathes to see the destruction that technology has caused under the banner of the Garlean Empire.
...Hm. This is indeed the work of either Shinryu or Omega. ... And since there is undeniably something down there radiating a massive amount of energy... which cannot very well be the late viceroy's lapdragon...
I... er... Financial considerations notwithstanding, you have to admit there is an unquantifiable benefit in giving our people the opportunity to study such advanced technology--
[can't believe his eyes, in disbelief, hating to see that he has to work with Nero, a man he despise] Oh... oh no. Absolutely not. This is not happening.
If you want to know his backstory, please visit at: http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Nero_tol_Scaeva
Come now, you musn't build their expectations too high! It will be less dramatic when I surpass them.
[announcing his presense] Nero tol Scaeva, eager to begin his first day as a loyal member of the Ironworks team! Looking forward to working with you, Garlond!
[BONUS LINE from "The Hunt for Omega" sidequest, laughing] Hah, an invitation from Omega itself! Not even I could've foreseen this!
Jessie is a non-playable character from Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. She is the Deputy President of Garlond Ironworks. She is introduced in Patch 2.3 in the quest "Magiteknical Difficulties." Jessie is based on the AVALANCHE member the same name in Final Fantasy VII.
[to Cid] And now comes the part where you say you've got no choice but to divert company resources and employees to this pet project of yours. Lost profits and belligerent clients be damned.
Oh? Is that before or after you blow it up or seal it away? Fine, fine--but the moment I judge this little venture an unsustainable risk to the Ironworks, I'm ending it, savvy?
And to keep you honest, using my authority as deputy president, I've gone ahead and brought in a consultant--a master engineer and mechanical genius!
