Female Marked Men - A Fallout: New Vegas Mod
Project Overview
Heya, everyone! This casting call is for a small FNV mod that will be titled Female Marked Men. The purpose of the mod is to bring to light a rather huge oversight in FNV's development of the Lonesome Road DLC.
In the Lonesome Road DLC, you can come across a type of Ghoul unique to The Divide - the Marked Men. Former NCR and Legion Soldiers who were skinned and ghoulified by the storms of The Divide and left to die by their respective armies. What's unique about them is while radiation does keep them alive, they are also in eternal pain because they were literally skinned alive by storms - which seems to sustain their hate. They are hostile to everyone, including the player character.
The oversight here is this: The NCR employs women in their armies rather extensively, yet in The Divide, not a single woman can be found. And there is literally no explanation as to why. This mod seeks to change that.
To make these Marked Men unique, they go by a different ranking structure than the rest. For instance, every title a female Marked Man can have is in Latin and goes in order like this - Bellator (Warrior), Virago (Violent Woman), Venatrix (Huntress), Sicarius (Assassin), Vixen (Fierce Woman). I've also written 15 lines for them to use globally in combat. It's your job to bring the voice to these terrifying revenants!
VOICE REQUIREMENTS
A willingness and ability to adapt your voice to a pained, hissing voice.
Multiple takes are encouraged (2-3) for each audition line but NOT required!
You must follow the voicing instructions crystal clearly. Any audition with mess-ups on specific instructions w/o any attempts to fix WILL BE disqualified.
Audition Requirements:
-Crisp, clean audio. No hums*, pops, hisses, or background noise. Any audition with these found inside WILL BE disqualified!
*Hums, if distant enough to be hardly noticeable, can pass auditioning ONLY if the voice actor can remove them when asked.
-Show emotion! Any audition without emotion or effort WILL BE disqualified!
- Communication is solely conducted through CCC.
-Have fun!

Female Marked Men
The Marked Men are NCR and Legion soldiers who were left behind by their respective armies when The Divide fell into chaos. Skinned alive by storms, ghoulified by radiation, and suffering in eternal pain, the Marked Men allied with one another - bonded eternally by their hate for the NCR and Legion despite having served them both faithfully.
The Female Marked Men are NCR Soldiers who were in the same boat, and have allied with their former enemies to survive in the most inhospitable place on the West Coast.
*Picture is not a Female Marked Man, but instead a regular one. I don't have a picture of a Female Marked Man. This was just to give you an idea of what your character will look like.
