Project Overview

Welcome, everyone! This is a casting call for voice actors who would like to work with me for an original animated short film, starring my original characters.

This is my final year university project and the first time I've done a major project with proper voice actors, so I'm excited to have you on board if you're interested. You can find more of my work on my Youtube or TikTok.

Synopsis: Framed for stealing a holy relic, Edel is now on the run after breaking out of prison. Soldiers patrol the streets in search of the missing fugitive, and Edel has to find a way to escape the country without being caught.

When auditioning, please have a good quality mic and little to no background audio. I’ll only be picking one person per role.

Please keep in mind that I am only one person and a student, so it may take time for me to go through your submissions.

    The casting call is officially closed!

    Thank you everyone who decided to audition for my characters and for all your kind words towards this project! It’s really encouraged me to stay motivated and I’m deeply grateful for your support.

    It’ll take me a few days to go through the submissions and assign a role so please be patient. Any submissions after the deadline will not be considered.

  • Moving Up Deadline

    Hello everyone! First off, I just want to say thank you to everyone who submitted an audition! All of your auditions have been amazing so far and I'm happy to have so many talented people interested in this project.

    I have decided to move up the deadline since there are already quite a lot of auditions and I want to move forward with the project a little quicker! The new deadline will be April 19th.

Our protagonist and the lead role in this animation.

Edel is a charming and polite angel who hides his emotions behind a neutral smile. His actual personality is someone who's witty, cheerful and outgoing. He loves indulging his inner child by treating himself to food and being recklessly impulsive. That recklessness is what got him to his current situation, running away from the cops.

A mysterious lady from outside the Holy Nation.

Esmeray is someone who speaks in an eeriely friendly, sometimes cheerful tone. She's not a human, just a creature that tries to mimic the personality of one. Esmeray portrays herself as mature, quiet, and ever so slightly playful. She’s very curious about human nature and a bit of an airhead.

The captain of the operation to capture Edel.

Dietrich can only be described as strict and serious. He is someone who cares more about work efficiency than the general safety of his fellow soldiers. Dietrich has a voice that exudes authority and command, he gets angry easily and is always in a state of displeasure.
