Fallout: Second Dawn, Episode Two (Audio Drama, Paid)
Project Overview
Hello, everyone! The casting call for the first episode went so well and everyone's lines are done, so we're starting this one a week early! Hooray!
-
• Quality audio. If issues with your audio (such as background noise or reverb) can't be fixed, I'm sorry, but we can't cast you. -
• Punctuality. For each episode in which you appear, you'll need to be able to schedule a direction session (which should take no more than an hour for any one episode) within a two-week period. Timing is flexible and can be suited to your needs, but if you are unable to respond to messages in a timely manner or sit for direction, you will be given warning and then recast. Once more, in bold: If you can't or won't commit your time to this project, you will be replaced. -
• Communication. This goes hand in hand with punctuality. If you need to reschedule a direction session or otherwise have a problem with time, but are willing to communicate and work it out, everything will be swell. If you don't respond to messages or otherwise make contact impossible, you will be given warning and then recast. -
• Enthusiasm. Okay, now that all the strict stuff is out of the way, I should also remind you that this is for fun! We're trying to have a good time and tell a good story, - • Skype, Discord, or similar. You'll also need some way to actually have a direction session to record your lines.

Hey, wonderful people! The casting call for the third episode is up!

Episode 2 casting is over!
Holy nuclear apocalypse, Batman! Over a hundred and seventy auditions! Thank you so much to every single one of you. I'll probably end up saying this every time, but wow, there is a lot of fantastic talent here, and we hope you audition for the next four episodes when they go up. Until then, have a lovely summer!
Major Dancer Blanc is an NCR soldier and one half of the leadership of the Pioneers, a squad of Rangers specializing in exploratory measures. He's professional, terse, and not very fond of nosy civilians. His wife, Winona, does most of the talking.
Show yourself. I order you to show yourself now, or we will open fire.(stern)
We laid the groundwork for the NCR to settle the state. Pathfinding, survival tactics, cartography. That's our job.(explaining, disdainful)
Then why did you come to Fort Peterson? This is a designated NCR outpost. You'll find no sympathizers here.(accusatory, upset)
Staff Sergeant Winona Blanc is an NCR soldier and one half of the leadership of the Pioneers, a squad of Rangers specializing in exploratory measures. She's friendly, outgoing, and relaxed about rules and regulations. Her husband, Dancer, does most of the paperwork.
This one's clearly fresh out of a vault. Look at her hands. And anyway, there's only two of them. What's the matter?(relaxed)
We're breaking camp. You two are welcome to tag along to Fort Peterson, if you can keep up with us.(encouraging)
What do they ever do? They're looking for tech, and they want to get it before anyone else does.(explaining, annoyed)
Jon Westerly is a caravaneer who's moved up to Fort Peterson at the behest of Dancer and Winona. She's cheerful, loves meeting new people, and doesn't really think her name is weird.
My favorite Rangers! How are you?(greeting)
Vault dweller, huh? You're not gonna blow up my food stores, are you?(half joking, half suspicious)
Next trip is leaving tomorrow morning. You have anything you want to take care of in town, you'd better do it now.(advising)
Emmy is the put-upon bartender, innkeeper, and janitor of the best (read: only) bunkhouse in Fort Peterson. They're not really a people person.
Beds or booze?(tired, annoyed)
They're "bikers hit my supply caravan, the distillery is half a state away, and the NCR is too busy navel-gazing to clear the roads" prices.(arguing, annoyed)
Fifteen caps a bottle, forty a night. Pay or get out.(selling, annoyed)
Nimble is a Brotherhood of Steel scout. They don't have a problem with Dawn, but they do have a problem with her traveling companions, and they make a point of showing it.
We've done nothing to you people.(retorting, upset)
Name's Nimble. Just thought you should know, if you stay with those bear-assed NCR, the Brotherhood's not gonna be too happy.(warning, snarky)
Jesus, cool off, alright?...War's coming to Seattle. And it's not slowing down for anybody.(put off, then ominous)
Timms is an NCR Ranger and member of the Pioneers. They're not quite a rookie, but not much of a veteran, either.
No. Is that some Pre-War thing? Really?...A pie?...No.(confused)
Looks like blue skies today. Stormclouds rolling east, but our route's clear.
(reporting to officer)Sir, yes, sir! Yessir, Major!(military)
