Hey there and thank you for clicking this!
This is the 100 percent Fandub (so, unofficial) for Fae Tactics: The Girl who destroyed the World. An absolute gem of a Game which I had the pleasure to play through not too long ago, and immediately felt its missing a dub to make its pretty nice characters come to life.
So here we are.
What is the Thing I apply for?
Fae Tactics is a Game about the Girl Peony, a young Witch that is on a Journey through an post apocalyptic (but really colourful) Wasteland to find her Mother. Along the Way she will find out that she is not entirely alone in this search - mostly because others have some bone to pick tho. Friends and Foes and alotta voicelines wait on the Way to tell a Story actually worth experiencing. Its hard to describe what its about without spoilering the actually pretty complicated and well woven Plot. So just know its amazing and if you are into pretty Basic but very well executed Fantasy, this is for you.
Also Strategy Games, I guess.
There are some very spiky gory sections albeit it short, but if you dislike those - relatably so - please do not apply for a Main role.
This Game contains also some really well done Psychological Trauma. Again, if you can't handle being near the Topic, please do NOT apply for a Main role. I will always write some Warnings into the Desc. of a Role if it contains stuff you wouldn't expect at first later on. :)
This Project will be uploaded on YouTube and on my Website by link, that is still under construction currently.
Are you even remotely prepared to take on a Game that takes 70 Hours for a Mainline 100% file?
Good thing you ask, because I am. I pre-recorded 8 Hours already and will continue to pre-record so that I will not only be REALLY far ahead, but also have everything scripted out and ready for you guys to immediately start, when the Deadline is done. :)
Since the 70 Hours obviously include Gameplay, trial and error and the usual first time of someone (I however do know what I do most of the time) you can expect around 10 Hours of voiced Content all in all, when this Project is done.
Maybe I exaggerate, but this has a LONG and TALKATIVE Story. :D
Not only that, there will also be intermediate Conversations and stuff thats not in the Original Script, to make transitions from one battle to the next, as well as the Battles themselves, less boring to watch in comparison to the dubbed rest.
Lots of edting will happen.
What do you expect from me?
- Decent Audio Quality. I know, I know, we are in the Amateur League around here, a good Mic is expensive, but no white noise and no Potato levels of Quality should be easy enough to achieve. :)
- Be nice, have fun and also have Discord. Its a sad reality that I don't wanna put up with people on 9 different Communication plattforms. However, if you do not have Nitro, dw for you can E-mail me the files, thats no biggie. :)
- Furthermore, I will put y'all in a group chat for reasons of simplified Communication. I will not force you to interact with anyone besides me (Interacting with me is kinda important tho, ngl) but having a bit of a Group Dynamic usually helps with having fun. :D (And thats coming from someone who really dislikes crowded places.)
- If you apply for a Main role - that will be clarified as such - please do not back down halfway. If your favourite Plushy gets sacrificied to Satanic Dogs or your Stairs fell down the Hallway, then sure. You cant up your Game with a blocked mind. Completely fine.
But besides that PLEASE COMMIT TO THE JOB. Main Role voices are super important to carry the Project and changing them is a hard hit. There is no shame in not wanting to commit to / Not feeling comfortable in long roles. But there are and will be MORE than enough for literally every taste, I can assure you. So if there is nothing you like now, drop a follow, cause there will be truckloads coming. Ranging from Demon horses to raging Witches to Cultist Preachers and Mad scientists.
- Be openminded to criticism, as you will get alot from me. I do never mean to harm you with critiquing your work and always want to improve the end product for the benefit of everyone.
Example criticism: "Dis suck. Make better."
How hard are your Deadlines?
Well, I don't pay you, so I can merely ask to please not make me wait 2 months for 2 lines. However, I can kick you out if you are completely unresponsive, unfriendly or generally an unlikeable person to work with. Please don't be.
Will this explanation be over at any Point?

Peony is a 16 year old Girl, the Protagonist of this Game, who possesses the Ability to use magic. Completely uncommon for Humans. She has a terrible Helper complex and can't walk past any kind of Problem anyone has. In this World, Witches - Magic using Humans - are hated for the most part, but regardless of that she is a very upbeat and quite witty Girl who goes through life in search of her mother.
Since she had to manage from a pretty young age on her own, she usually is pretty oblivious to dangerous things and has a very "hands on" mentality. She has a big heart for everyone around her, but struggles with the Term "Witch" alot. Her Voice should capture her generally bold attitude that pretty heavily relies on her obliviousness towards Danger.
Please note: Peony is the LEAD role of this game. She will have ALOT of Lines, so be prepared. :D
Due to her being the mainrole, there will be Anger, Pain, Crying, Blushing and everything in between. She is 16 after all. This is Puberty all over again. Oh heck no. I tried to make the Lines reflect a bit of spectrum to that effect. :)

Payachin is a female Pio-Pio Child that Peony found in its egg along the Way and the second Main character. Her Main attitude is saying "Pio-Pio" for the first half of the Game, which will be your Job for a while, but the Role you actually apply for, is the ADULT Payachin which will happen later.
Later in the Game Payachin is growing up and getting an actual Voice as well as a way more carved out personality. I included only Adult Payachin lines, as she will be essentially older than Peony at that Stage. Imagine her to sound like a young adult woman. Around 25-28 years.
Her general Traits as grown up are pride and wisdom which one should be able to hear from her calm, yet very determined way of speaking. Her feelings shine through but are never quite as visible as they are with Peony.

Just a normal Mechanic, doing his Job in his old Shop. You are in your fiftees and you had the tough life behind you already. Nowadays, you just accept that the Bandits are likely to be the end of your Shop, cause you cant do anything about it, so you're mostly just chill.
Deep Southern accent appreciated but not necessary.

Younger Mechanic than the first, dislikes Magic alltogether, bit pessimistic. Average 30-ish year old Voice. Also sidecharacter.

Orowantus is the last remaining Centaur of a Tribe of Centaurs and she has the bitterness of those who lost their Family to the War. She is very used to being on her own, but can't hide to actually be a rather kind person that is moreso cold to shield herself from more harm.
She tends to think critically and analytically and is quite a bit older than Peony, already a full grown woman with alotta Living experience under her Hooves. She is very proud and stubborn and hunts down, what needs to be hunted. Never quite loosing her cool, but getting angry often enough. But she can be caring if she wants to.
Her voice should be that of a cold hearted huntress, with that Hunch that she is not such by character, but moreso thats how she needed to be to get by.

Nice old lady sitting by the Fire, cooking lunch with her nephew. I want her to really have this nice old lady telling a story kinda voice. :) Side character, only appearing once. Gremlins appear multiple times however, so there is a good chance this tone will be used throughout the Project a few times.

Part of Pack of brutal thieves. Lowlife thug essentially. Side character. Comes into a play a few times throughout game in similar role.

Male version of the Witch, Lowlife thug. no specifics besides being an unlikeable thief and bruiser. Side character, feel free to Audition with your Demo Reel for this one. Gremlins are quite short, so Imagine a bit of a Gremlin-esque voice here.
