Ezatria: D&D Machinima made in Talespire
Project Overview
This episodic machinima is made using talespire and heroforge models, ala thomas the tank engine and DnD Walkthroughs, and is a serialized drama focusing on a young man named Oliver Vance as he travels Ezatria, encountering lands familar to the fifth edition of Dungeons and Dragons. The unique limitations of talespire create some rather interesting filming techniques and writing challenge, I would consider this more of an audio drama than full on stop motion. This is a scripted, this is *not* a liveplay game. We will be using discord to organize so that will be required, thanks a ton for your consideration!

As the Narrator you have the very unique position of expositing actions, scene changes, and exposition that is impossible to replicate visually. This role is also relied on heavily, easily being the voice heard most over the show. As I've been writing the Narrator, I've been envisioning them as the Dungeon Master running the game.
Our young hero contemplated the previous day's events as he mucked out the horse stalls of the Yawning Portal. Entering Waterdeep, the brawl between the thugs and the orc, and the battle against a troll.
Light and Dark, Hope and Despair, Good and Evil. Ezatria is a land of opposites, of contradictions, and as such invites great peril. These perils too have their diametric answer, in people skilled in martial power and arcane arts, people known as adventurers.
Oliver plunges his sword into the troll's head earning the creature's death rattle. All at once the damnable beast shuddered and slunk back into the hole leaving the young boy to jump off of the thing landing ungracefully onto the floor. The tavern is still for but a moment before everyone cheers as music begins playing again.
Oliver is a young man prone to over thinking and quick to anger. He's a fighter and despite wanting to be a simple blacksmith back home with his mom he has been thrust into the adventurer's life. While still very much a 14 year old boy, he tries to act like an adult and tries to be stoic and angry. This stoicism hides a very nervous constant over thinking, from what he is and could be doing, to what he's done and will do all of these thoughts race through his mind as he wildly improvises his way into a fine adventurer.

I'm not an adventurer. I'm just trying to get my mom to safety, and it's no trouble I had to do it for my neighbor back home.
Kolya is a former adventurer who worked with and fell in love with Flint Vance, Oliver's father. This role will be heavily focused on in the second season, as Kolya leads a rebellion against the vampiric Baron of Barovia Strahd Von Zarrovich.
You can't go you're just a boy! The first guard to see you will be bringin' you straight back here. Plus gods only know where your father is.
And what, I'm supposed to let my only child walk off into the wilderness to gods know where!?
And how in the hells do you think you're getting to Waterdeep? (Tearing up) What kind of mother would I be to let my baby boy go on a suicide march!?
Rahadim is a drow that is the vampiric servent to a later Villain, Strahd Von Zarrovich. He is currently scouring the land for food for his master and kidnaps Kolya after Oliver accidentally leads them to her.

Volothamp is a rather famous character in D&D being the fiction author of the real D&D book, volo's guide to monsters.
In Ezatria he has written many books and had them published, and serves as Oliver's first ally in Waterdeep, eventually joining him in his journeys.
Well that was quite the move young man, not many would so willingly leap onto a troll's face.

How is that same child expecting to complete his own manhunt as you put it without help?
A strange deep gnome, Xoblob is an old adventuring companion of Flint. He runs a strange shop, and is meant to be a fun character possibly to return later.

Oh a few journeys for ancient artefacts, fighting ancient evils with Flyin Flint, and occasionally meeting a fair maiden heheh...
These will be various characters, and likely multiple people will be cast here. This will likely consist of a variety of one of lines and a variety of voices.

Lil shit, I've been in this city my whole damned life! I remember when his father ruled from Neverwinter, I remember how Waterdeep used to be before he riled up the nobles, let a damn Beholder set up shop and lookit what's happened now! Glad his son and that Blagmaar kid got their shit kicked in.
I would greatly appreciate a co-writer to help with plot lines, dialogues, and writing episodes if needed.

You would be handling video production of the series, cutting together shots, and doing general video editing for the series.

Your big thing would be creating the soundscapes of the visuals, not just vocals but background noises as well. Also trying to equalize the audio to make it sound cohesive.
