Eye of the Beholder is an audio drama based on the SCP Foundation set in a world where a hidden organization is committed to identifying, confining, and researching entities that defy natural rules, known as anomalies or SCPs.
Story:
Site-29, a botanical and mineralogy research facility where both anomalous and non-anomalous people coexist, descends into chaos as an unknown SCP is smuggled onto the site, causing destruction while an unidentified group attacks from within.
Dr. Vincent Minnow, Head of Research at Site-29, and Crow, a member of the Caretakers—a branched-off sect of the Serpent's Hand—must collaborate to save Site-29 and uncover long-held secrets.
Today, my Audio Engineer and I will be going over all the submissions and will be reaching out to people either today or tomorrow.
I appreciate all your guys' interest in the project, and whether or not you have been chosen, don't lose hope, since episode 2 will star a brand new cast needing new VAs to voice them.

Just letting you know that I will be reaching out to the VAs I've chosen nearing the end of the month, when the deadline is coming to a close. I am having my audio mixer/design/editor shift through and shortlist when the time comes—also letting you all know that I'm more so biding my time and not ignoring the project.
Dr. Vincent Minnow (38) is the Head of Research at Site-29, a botanical and mineralogy facility for the SCP Foundation. He is one of two protagonists in this Audio Drama. I am looking for someone who can play a man whose focus is too much on others safety than his own. Looking for some slight huskiness in the voice but am opening to all submissions!
Heads up: the character is LGBT and will have a boyfriend in the audio drama

It was an ongoing issue. Site-29, our site, a botanical and mineralogy facility, barely gets enough money to pay salary and keep the lights on. Hell, sometimes it feels like Overwatch hates us. We're like the child picked last for games during gym. Ignored until forced to realize we exist.

That was the one thing I've always hated about the Foundation. The indifference towards their workers, how death was so common that people can watch someone die, not be affected by it and then go on to get lunch with their friends. I never got used to it. Can't and won't. I mean, how could I?
We're more than numbers on a spreadsheet or a check sent to the families of those who died. Yes, we all took the oath to protect the world, Secure. Contain. and Protect the public from the dark and dangerous. But at what cost? Friends? Family? Loved ones?
"Cold, but not cruel", they say. Sometimes that line feels a little too blurred.

Dr. Eleanor Alevona. She's as sweet as it comes, well for an undead person that has lived for hundreds of years. But you would guess that from the grey in their skin tone and pearly white hair. Being alive for so long meant she knew what the fuck she was doing, and I trust her with my life.

Cassie O'Donnell is the Head of Communication in Site-29; best friends with Dr. Vincent Minnow. She is caring and often scared for Vincent and his lack of self-preservation. She's 37, very forthcoming, and can argumentative. Acts like a sister to Vincent.

Dr. Elias Resalis works at Site-29 in the Biosphere. He is the Lead Project Manager for the Biosphere and is Dr. Vincent Minnow's boyfriend of almost 3 years. Dr. Elias is 35, has a soft voice that's gentle on the ears, and can be a tease if need be. But they, too, are worried about Vincent's lack of self-preservation.
Role is LGBT as there will be scenes of intimacy in the pilot and future episodes.
