Project Overview
Hi Everyone! Welcome to Blue’s casting call. I'm casting a project called Everything’s Fine, an Audio Drama.
There are 7 voice acting roles, and 3 singing roles. There are some staff roles also, such as a thumbnail artist, some sound effect auditions, and an intro and outro audition. Those are exclusive to the discord server. https://discord.gg/58Aezh3
This is a pilot episode; if there’s a good response to the first episode, then I will continue the series. I don’t want to put a ton of effort into something that only gets like 2 views, ya know? If I decide to continue the series, this WILL be paid.
The story is about a boy Lucas, turning 16, and finding out he has to design a human being, not knowing anything about them. Follow Lucas and his new friend, Meghan, as they fight against the government for what’s right.
Now, there are some specific requirements.
- First of all, you have to be kind; no racism or homophobia. This story will include all races, genders, and sexualities, so no hate will be tolerated.
- Please have little to no background noise in your recording.
- We will communicate through a discord server, so you’ll need to join the server in order to be in the project.

Someone to draw thumbnails, and the image that plays during the actual show. This will start off kinda innocent, but the drawings will get more complex and weird as it goes on.

He will be in every episode. Lucas is kinda a weird kid, he never really fit in. He is the only person (that they know of) who sees the flaws in the world. People always assumed he was just kinda a downer, but when he realizes everyone else is just seeing a better world, he starts to put the puzzle pieces together.
(startled, scared) That seems kinda wrong, I mean, designing people? That’s unsettling…
(acting, trying to seem scared and stressed) Oh, oh wow I’m getting an anxiety attack, I think I’m gonna need to use my anxiety gas!
(trying to figure it out on the spot) We can go back to my house, tell my father about you, and go from there.
She will be in every episode. She is Lucas' designed friend, who helps Lucas with his journey to what's right. She needs to be quite hot-headed and loud.
(complaining) Ooo! Acting like a doormat is so tough sometimes.
(almost no emotion) Hello, superiors. Lucas Burlew, I will do what you say.
(annoyed) Why did you break the law?! Don’t you know how much trouble you can get in!?
He's Lucas' dad. He works at the factory where they create a vaccine named the "Everything's Fine" vaccine, which forces someone to see only the good side in the world, no flaws. He will be in this episode and may make little appearances here and there.
(terrified) LUCAS!! ARE YOU CRAZY?!
(kinda showing off) Yea, but we also get to make cool stuff, like look under your seat. That right there is sleeping gas. Anyone who sniffs it passes out for 5 minutes. It's pretty fun! (pause) Ok, put it back down there now.
(storytelling) So then we raced home, bathed you, put you in some little PJs, and got ready to take care of you.
ROBOTIC, but still sounding like a human, just kinda dead inside!! Your classic cooking, cleaning, stay at home mom. She will be in this episode and will make frequent appearances in future episodes.
(NO EMOTION) There is nothing wrong with it. Everything is fine. We are all happy. Your father designed me and did a very good job. Just include no flaws. Then you will be happy, too.
(Like reading from a script, kinda bland) Of course, now, happy birthday, you turned 16, which means today you get to design a wife!
(Sad, yet bland) I’m not allowed to talk about that. Apologies.
Imagine you're Effie Trinket from The Hunger Games when playing this role. She will come in at other episodes, the same amount of episodes as Crystal.
(very excited) Oh hellooooo! You must be Lucas, here for your designing session. I am Sasha, and I will be escorting you through your session.
(curious) Let me just check your bag, oh, what are in these bottles? Looks like factory gas…
(falling asleep) Yes, I'm… *yawn* getting sorta sleepy I think I’m just gonna…
Think more of artificial intelligence, versus robotic. She will appear in the same amount of episodes as Sasha and Crystal
