Euphonious Project
Project Overview
Euphonious is an RPG Horror Video Game that is in the works. We are keeping most project details to ourselves until the trailer comes out to keep any game secrets hidden. Though of course, since this is a horror game we will add a basic content warning so you know what you are auditioning for, those include : Cults, abuse, suicide, and slight gore. We ask any talents auditioning to be comfortable in voice acting parts with mentions of those. Our artists, composers, coders, and writers are already hard at work and are very excited to meet the additions to our team! Along with payment all voice actors will be credited in the game description, as well as the game credit scenes.
Our next section will include our audition format. We ask that you at least do 2 takes for each line and include a small introduction as well as what microphone you use in the description of your audition. Some things not to do are : edit your audition, have loud background noise, and any sort of stuttering. Besides that feel free to do whatever you think fits! + Slating is fine but optional.
We will be casting 1 character at a time and will cast once we find an at least almost perfect fit for the character. To have higher chances of casting you would need to : have a professional microphone that either limits or gets rid of background noise, fit all voice descriptions asked of, and portray correct emotions for each line.

Leah is the protagonist of the game, she is a very neutral and generic type character so players are able to find a reflection of themself within her. Therefore she should have a very simple mid pitch voice, as well the voice actor should be able to express emotions within lines that call for it. Leah is a freshman in college making her around 18-19 her voice should show this. (While she is the protagonist she will have fewer lines than other characters hence the pay)

With a fearful and despair like tone : "Dear mom, I don't know if you will even receive this but you need to get me out of this place. I beg of you!"
With a calm tone at the beginning switching a scared tone after the comma : "I think you're the only one keeping me sane at this point, I-I mean in a way of how crazy getting to know a new school is...yeah...you know?"
With a determined tone : "If you want it come and get it! I am putting up a fight for this, ma'am!"
Kiyomi is a member of the supporting cast of the game. She is a sophomore in college and is known for being very bossy, rude, easy to upset. Despite that she manages to make a small connection to Leah after trying to deny it for a whiles worth in the game. Her voice should be monotone, low pitched, and needs to sound a bit uptight at all times. As well the voice actor needs to know how to cry while filming.

In a rude tone : "Whatever, I don't remember even asking for your critiques! ...so just keep it to yourself, OKAY?!"
In a very monotone and quiet voice : "I don't know why I care, I just remember I started caring a while ago and now I don't think I can stop."
In a reluctantly happy tone : "Thank you...I-I know I should apologize for everything now so..um...I am sorry, I will try not to get mad at you again"
Cecelia is a happy-go-lucky, cheerful girl. She is in her junior year of college and loves to make new friends and help others out when they need it. Her voice should portray her bright personality. Cecelia's voice should be a medium pitch, loud, excited, and cutesy. As well her voice actor should be able to scream, cry, and whisper while recording.

In a greeting and exciting tone : "Welcome! So this is your first year? That is something...y'know I don't remember much of my first year...oh sorry-"
In a tired tone : "Maybe that's something we talk about in the morning? I tend to forget stuff I hear late at night...heh"
In a motivational tone : "I know you can do this and I mean it. I will take any hits for you as long as I know you get out. You just need to keep trying!"
Ozni is a sick classmate and friend of Leah's. Due to his sickness he is barely able to speak but when he does it is some of the most impactful parts of the game. He is able to hum some parts but besides is very few lines he doesn't speak. Though for the parts he does speak he needs a sickly sounding voice, it should almost sound monster like.
(Due to the fact that his few lines do spoil many parts of the game we will only add 1 random-ish line for him here.)

In any tone (We just want to here the voice itself) : "Hello, my name is Ozni."
Izanagi is a friend of Leah's. He is a goofball, silly, happy type character and is a junior in college. While having a silly personality most of the time he can get very monotone whenever tired, so his voice actor should be able to accomplish that. He should have a pretty generic anime teen type tone to his voice. Izanagi's voice actor should be able to yell and scream.

With a happy tone : "I am so glad I am finally able to meet you! I have already been told so much about you, Leah."
With a monotone tone : "That should not be to any concern of mine, if I may ask why must you bring it up with me?"
With an angry tone : "You think you can just lie to everyone like that?! By you going around saying that I have now been put into danger, in fact you put my entire family into danger!"
Mrs. Mallpass is the headmaster of the school, she enjoys teaching her ways with others. She is over the age of 60 so her voice should portray that.
