Eeveelution Siblings - Chapter 1 Casting Call
Project Overview
A casting call for the first chapter of a series that I’ve been slowly meaning to make for at least 5 or so years, Eeveelution Siblings is a fan-made Pokemon series set in the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon universe that follows the daily lives of 10 brothers and sisters who are incredibly close with one another.
As of May 22nd, every sibling has been assigned to somebody. Welcome, team.
The story doesn’t have one specific fixed plot but features comedic, action, and adventure elements, and is just overall a slice-of-life-like series. I hope to include at least a bit of most genres.
Eeveelution Siblings will also feature the Yo-kai Watch series in some fashion. More on that in later chapters as Yo-kai won't begin to appear for a while.
All characters are by me, but the original series and characters belong to their respective owners.
Before auditioning I highly recommend you familiarize yourself with the characters and the series as a whole. You can do so by exploring this Scratch studio: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/33721901/
I’d consider this necessary in order to understand the characters better, as their bios in the role descriptions don’t fully capture the depth of the personalities that the Siblings have.
Something worth noting: all the descriptions for the Siblings' voices are recommendations. They're the voices I tried imagining, but you are 100% free to try out any of your ideas. Don't feel like you have to stick completely to the recommendations-however, if you do successfully match what I was thinking of, you'll obviously be in a better spot. If you end up going for a voice that ends up impressing me that I wasn't thinking of, congrats, also in a good spot.
Please also link your Discord username with your audition(s).
IMPORTANT NOTE: This project may take a long time to get going, so keep that in mind before you audition. Voices for the Siblings will, evidently so, be long term commitments, so also put that into consideration. There's no rush to get this done, but I promise you that I will try my best to direct this project. Another note: this project is entirely unpaid. I will be handling all art, animation, and direction-however, if somebody is genuinely interested in helping me with editing and stuff relating to the direction and animation, please let me know; especially if you're more experienced than me in these regards. (Which might likely be true.) As of now, I've yet to make the prologue (without voice acting) so it may be quite the amount of time before I ask you for your lines.
Also, there's no strict age limit to this project, but I hope to work with those with at least some experience and are 13+. Please have good mic quality with minimal or no background noise, along with a clear voice. The only things that really matter in my eyes outside of the prior mic point are that you are good at what you do (by portraying my characters well), and that you enjoy doing so. Another thing: most, if not all characters in this series will have American accents-if your accent isn’t native speaker level or at least quite great, I don’t recommend auditioning until there might be some characters with other accents. Just keep in mind that all the Siblings will follow this accent rule.
One final note: if you've been familiar with the information relating to this project from Scratch, you'll obviously know that I've said that Jibanyan (specifically, the version of Jibanyan from the Yo-kai Watch Shadowside series) will be quite a significant character once he appears a little later in the series. However, if you expect to be able to voice him in later chapters, sorry, but I will be doing so. Rest assured, there will be plenty of other available Yo-kai for you to audition for as time goes on.
Sorry if this was a lot to read, but I hope you enjoy auditioning, and good luck. Just pay attention to the voice descriptions and the characters' personalities and try your best. Thank you for your interest and wanting to be part of this pretty old dream that I’ve had since my younger years, hah.

Age - 10
Rudy's pretty much the central protagonist, although each of the Siblings is considered to be a protagonist in my eyes. He's a very ambitious, aspiring, and determined Eevee who is rather serious, yet he can also be quite enthusiastic sometimes. The little guy is inspired by all his big siblings, especially Smolder, and wants to be just like him when he grows up. Rudy can't seem to decide on what he wants to do once he gets older, but it's hard to get him to understand that he's got a lot of time left to enjoy and not worry about such things. He's hard-working and amiable.
Voice should be medium pitched older child to tweenager in a way. I first thought that Rudy should have a similar voice to Charlie Brown's except maybe a bit deeper, but honestly, feel free to try out your own interpretation, as this is just something I thought of. As long as he sounds like a kid but not too young and somewhat serious it should be good.

[neutral] Do you want to go to the park later after lunch?
[slightly sad] Well...I just can't seem to figure out what I want to do...could you...maybe help me out with that?
[more excited] Yes! Battle practice.

(Just a little side note-I started thinking about and planning this series a long time before I first found out about the content creator StarEevee, and by the time I discovered her, I was already long attached to the names of my characters, so any resemblance from my series’s Star to her is entirely coincidental, haha)
The youngest sibling, Star is a lively, bubbly, and youthful kid. She's sassy, mischievous, yet is also jolly and good-natured. Although she seems like she doesn't have a care in the world, unlike Rudy, who is more street-smart, Star is surprisingly more book-smart than him, and is more observant generally.
Voice should be pretty high pitched child, energetic but not really annoying

[loudly] Are the pancakes ready yet...?
[whispering] Hey...look over there. What is that Pokemon...?
[jolly] Yay! Can't wait to see you then!

Harmony is a quality-loving, meticulous, dainty Sylveon who is a stickler for rules and is popular. She's polite and can be formal with her speech-but once you get to know her better you'll find that she is much more cheerful and social than she initially appears to be.
Voice should be pretty high-medium pitched

[greeting] Oh, good morning. You are...? ...I see. Nice to meet you, sir.
[free-spirited] Wow, today's actually so beautiful. Makes me want to frolic around *laughs*
[slightly more forceful] Hey-careful with that, please. That took me a while to make...
Age - 12
Maple is the most quiet, shy, and sensitive out of her siblings. It's not easy to get so close to her unless you're one of her brothers or sisters, but Maple is attentive, sympathetic, and is of a steady nature. She is very modest and humble as well. Despite her shyness, she is always willing to be an outlet for anybody to express their emotions.
Voice should be timid, delicate, and kind of cautious; high-medium pitched

[kindly] Here, come check this out-bonsai and aloe plants. How do you like it?
[soft, sing-song] *humming, open to your interpretation* And I'll just put this one here, and maybe this one goes there...
[neutral] Uh, hey River? Do you want to walk around the garden today?
Age - 13
Glint is the most active, excitable, and enthusiastic of his siblings. A very happy-go-lucky dude who's really into sports and physical activity and can't seem to go a day without heading outside. Innocent though he is, he's much more understanding and sympathetic than he may seem, and is capable of keeping the energy level down.
Voice should be a higher pitch, upbeat, almost Sonic sounding voice, but not quite. A sort of youthful version of him-to be honest, this voice is up to your discretion, the Sonic voice is just a recommendation.

[excited] Here's the finisher! You're not getting past this one, Star!
[quickly spoken] Sup bro! Glad you're here! Hey, wanna go outside with me later today? I've been wanting to show you how my Electro Ball has been turning out.
[aforementioned quiet and tranquil way] I just love these sorts of moments. Stuff to look back on once we've grown up, yeah?
Age - 15
River is the most relaxed, calm, and peaceful of his siblings. He is a mediator, a peacemaker, and just a generally therapeutic presence whenever necessary. He loves nature and has a penchant for going to this specific beach and letting his thoughts wander. Quite the go-with-the-flow personality.
Voice should be a medium pitch, soft and almost lazy sounding, but not quite there. When I say almost lazy, I don’t mean that as in make him tired sounding and dragging out his speech, but he should kind of sound rather monotonous.

[surprised] Whoa, what time is it...?
[normal] How does the sand feel to you? Let it sink in and just take in your surroundings.
[to himself, coming up with ideas for poetry] Here I am again...here to escape life's daily mundanities. The sound of the sea will never fail to mesmerize and entrance me.
Age - 17
Midnight's the most lax, carefree, and chill out of his siblings. He's flexible, kind, helpful, and just a very well-liked and approachable Umbreon. He's also the most socially experienced of the Siblings, and a confident guy.
His voice should be a higher baritone, sort of medium pitch, with a very nonchalant, unworried feel to it.

[contemplative] Sheesh, the price really has gone up this year.
[neutral] Oh, morning Star-I was just checking out the news.
[calmly] Yeah, that's my dream. You can never really get rid of things like this, but every bit of effort counts, you know?
Age - 18
The most sophisticated and fashionable of the Siblings, Blizzard is a welcoming, cool, and understanding Glaceon who loves accessories such as hats, glasses, and bracelets. She's empathetic and particularly supportive to her younger siblings. She’s the most active in affairs relating to improving the space that the community lives in and is just a pretty well-known figure in the public space in general.
Her voice should be medium pitched, and have a relaxed yet upbeat vibe.

[pensive] Hmm...which one should I pick...
[excited] Ooh! This one looks good!
[questioning] Hey Harmony, how's this hat look?
Age - 19
The second oldest-the most intelligent sibling, Garnet is a cordial, graceful, and elegant Espeon. She is very perceptive, and she is a motherly sort of figure to her younger siblings. She loves knowledge and is constantly seeking it out.
Should be a rather deep female voice, maybe alto. Make it have softer, comforting, calm qualities to it, but I'd also recommend it to have a slightly mysterious air to it and kind of smooth, but don't heavily center the voice in that way.

[kindly] Yes Star, just a minute please. I need to finish this chapter.
[to herself] Still, this is always a good one to read and consider.
[calling over to him] Careful out there, Rudy.
Age - 20
The charismatic, supportive, and brave leader of the siblings, Smolder is the oldest and a natural role model for his younger brothers and sisters. Despite being powerful and fearless, Smolder’s a soft and warmhearted Flareon, who is also the leader of a Rescue Team.
His voice should be relatively deep and have an assertive feel, but, more importantly, contain a softer, comforting, older brother undertone to it.

[welcoming] Good morning, Rudy and Star. How are you doing?
[neutral] It was an S-Rank mission. To the Thundercrack Canyon. Yeah, it was difficult. Exhausted my store of reviver seeds. (sigh) Well, we were all fine though.
[comical and loud] I am tiii-red. *yawns* [put emphasis on the second syllable of tired]
