All the voices are in, all the code is written, all the assets are placed. Now I will be working on a small trailer, and, if testing goes well, release the mod soon.
Duplici Gladio / The Serpent Pit (I'm not totally sure on the title yet) is a Skyrim mod that features the Serpent Pit, an arena in the mountains near Windhelm. You are able to watch and bet on fights, as well as participate in them yourself. After having eliminated all of your competition, you will be awarded with the Duplici Gladio, a daedric greatsword artifact. Unfortunately, this weapon as been cursed, and you will need to embark on a small quest for an avatar of Boethiah in order to lift that curse.
Please note that I will likely have to resort to an AI-generated for the role of Aspera Blade-Friend.
A working prototype of the mod is available, to give VAs some overview and context for the lines.
Please contact me for any questions.

I have given some thought to Aspera and the planned use of AI for her, and have reached a (hopefully) better solution: The voice of the ESO appearance of Aspera seems to be one that's much easier to replicate than Jean Gilpin' Boethiah voice from Skyrim. Therefore, if I can get someone who roughly sounds like that, I should be able to get away without any AI-generated voices.
Please see the Aspera Blade-Friend role for more details.
Noura is one of the main characters of this mod, managing the fights in the arena, and sending the player into matches that advance the story.
Her voice does not have any special characteristics.
I arrange the fights, so talk to me if you wish to prove yourself in the pit.
The crowd has been waiting for this match. You will be facing Ishalga, a champion from Elsweyr.
Ready to spill some blood?
Tekin is handling the spectators and bets on the arena fights. While not actively engaged in the mod's main quest, he is one of the more talkative people in it.
I envision his voice to be similar to vanilla Skyrim's MaleSlyCynical voice, where you can never be fully sure if he is being honest or just robbing you of your money.
I'm sorry, but you can't bet on matches while you are on the active fighting roster.
Now, which of the combatants do you wish to bet on?
Martius Silius is a former legionaire of the imperial legion, who, after being a mercenary for some time, is now the owner and battlemaster of the Serpent Pit. He rarely interacts with the regular gladiators, but he will play a role in the first quest's end.
He has a far-reaching voice (he will shout at the player across half the arena) that commands respect.
Well done, Gladiator! You have earned the honor of facing the final challenge of the Serpent Pit.
What? No! This can't be! You're not supposed to survive this!
Aspera is an avatar of the daedric prince Boethiah. She does not have many lines, but she needs a voice that closely resembles the one of Boethiah in vanilla Skyrim (which is done by Jean Gilpin), or her counterpart in Elder Scrolls Online (see https://youtu.be/5bRh6qXdCXE ).
The full power of the blade will be yours to wield.
Ishalga is a khajiit champion from Elsweyr, and one of the combatants of the arena. As such, a full set of combat barks is required, unless a similar-sounding vanilla voice type exists.
You are a competitor? Ishalga thought you came to the arena to pick up the rubbish!
Angarion is a seasoned altmer gladiator. He isn't actively fought during the questline. A few generic interaction lines are also required, unless a similar-sounding vanilla voice type exists.
Don't tell me your name. I will not remember it anyway.
Severa Calvina is an imperial gladiator. She isn't actively fought during the questline. A few generic interaction lines are also required, unless a similar-sounding vanilla voice type exists.
I've spent my whole life among gladiators, so I'm not easily impressed.
Najeepa Swims-In-Bloodis an argonian gladiator, and one of the combatants of the arena. As such, a full set of combat barks is required, unless a similar-sounding vanilla voice type exists.
I need to learn from the best, if I am to represent my people honorably.
