DNF Duel Dub Edition DLC Auditions
Project Overview
These are the final roles available for the DLC Characters for the DNF Duel English Dub Mod DLC Update
To keep up with what Jojolione laid down for the main gameplay mod to keep things consistent like before (and because we’re not official) this is a volunteer project, not paid, however all of the materials are written and ready to make turnarounds quick and easy to get through (plus this is more akin to a visual novel compared to something intensive like a fighting game).
NOTES & GUIDELINES:
There are a significant amount of battle lines (between 100 to 140 for some characters) and many that require a lot of yelling and general loudness. These will require you to reference audio files from the game (which I will provide) to understand the general timing you’ll be allowed for recording many of these. Don’t feel you need to stress this too much in your audition lines, however!
Due to this large amount of loud lines, it’s imperative that your recording space is not echo-y and loaded with reverberation. It’ll be incredibly audible in game and make your lines completely unusable. Good audio quality and a good recording space are an absolute must here.
Left column will have reference lines from the game as a loose guideline for yourself on the tone and timing, along with direction notes. Some are dialogue, and some are battle grunts.
If chosen, must be fine with the option of live direction to help with turnaround just in case. Expected release will be October of this year(Earlier we’re able to knock your character out the better)
Record in 4800, 32bit, Mono, AAA/BBB/CCC format, mp3, labeled as Name_CHARACTER.mp3. You are also welcome to include demos and portfolio but it’s not a requirement.
