Introduction

Buenos Dias My friends, I am Alejo Patten
The Executive Producer, Exec. Dir, actor, writer…..you get the point I am the guy who is in charge of a new comic dub production channel. For years I have wanted to make a Disney related project. When I first came to the VA VA community I was surprised to find very little Disney comic content. So I have taken it upon myself to gather a team (you guys) and fill the waterhole to start something new. My plan with this "Yet to be titled channel" is while I do oversee direct and star in episodes of the production other people will direct episodes giving guys and gals experience in directing and have a good platform to promote their content making a flexible schedule for crew members who can not make it to an episode. The First of the comics we plan to adapt is the Disney Kingdom Marvel comic Figment: Journey into Imagination series


Synopsis
From Marvel Comics. The next Disney adventure is here -- starring one of Disney's most popular characters! Dive into a steampunk fantasy story exploring the never-before-revealed origin of the inventor known as Dreamfinder, and how one little spark of inspiration created a dragon called Figment. What is the Academy Scientifica-Lucidus? Who is Blarion Mercurial? What is the Integrated Mesmonic Spark Convertor? Find out as we give a Marvel spin to Epcot's mind-bending attraction, Journey Into Imagination! Brought to you by the acclaimed and uniquely talented team of Jim Zub (Skullkickers) and Filipe Andrade (Captain Marvel)!


Deadline and Casting
As of now, the deadline is set in July 2018. I currently have NO plans to extend the deadline. However, if there is a situation where an extension is needed, this page will be updated immediately. I will NOT be casting before the deadline. I will be playing the role of “Figment” while videogameaddict237 will provide the voice of “The Nightmare Nation” (Not listed here). If casted you can expect warm welcomes to showcase your vocal range as well as a final product of the production. The only drama I want coming out is the acting.

 So show me the best you and have fun. I believe in you guys!!!


Communication
The main form of communication for this project will be through "Discord". Cast members will be required to have a "Discord" to communicate with the directors and other cast members. Scripts, video scripts and lines will be delivered through emai/Discord.


Crew

Now Crew members I am looking for people with experience in editing comic dubs, positive attitude, and really good feedback. Currently it looks like the series will be split into 5-7 episodes. While I will Direct 3 of the episodes since it is the planned first of many. As time goes by other Directors will take the helm of other Disney Kingdom comic series. You guys will be helping me put together the series from bottom to top I will be in contact with all the teams..


Final Words
If you do not make the cut this time don't worry I will hold auditions for another series I am not announcing at this moment.  Again, I wish you guys luck and i hope you have fun doing it.

Opening in Edwardian London, Dreamfinder, then known as Blarion Mercurial, is a young scientist researching ways to create energy from the power of the mind. These studies result in the creation of Figment and a portal into the realms of imagination.    Personality: He's a bit quirky and very unsure of what he's got himself into yet at the same time fascinated by the sights he sees (he's very curious).

He has two voices when he is the dream finder he sort of sounds like a cheerful young english old with a hint of grub since he has a beard with just a hint of radio.

Before his Dream finder change he has a medium-high range British accent (have fun with this).

Age: mid 20's-early 30's

Vocal Range: Tenor

Actor must be committed to 2 seasons.


  • (Passionate) My machine is going to tap into the energy of the mind. It’ll be brain power literally!

  • (Concerned): How do I explain to the chairman that you...this figment of my imagination...no no no.

The Chairman of Scientifica Lucidus he is the man responsible for bringing Blair into the academy and the one for almost kicking him out. The chance Blair had to shine was the moment he opened the portal to the realm of imagination. His actions of thinking order will fix the portal situation summon the cybernetic threat known as the Singular.  He starts out as the typical  mentor who always nags his student after things go wrong. Once he gets his hands on Blair imagination he teams up with the singular temporarily to teach him about the human race he has good intentions but they have major consequences.

  • Please my name is Chairman Illocrant . And it's pronounced  "England". We're a very powerful country.

  • (Realization to Commanding): This Madness must stop. I Require ORDER!!!

  • (Impressed to Concerned): Blair's invention is brilliant, but such chaotic power...I wish the boy'd come to me before setting it loose. He..he just didn't have the willpower to bring it under control.

The character is an evil AI Robot from a cybernetic realm. The chairman summoned him after trying to close the portal by using order rather than his imagination.   The best way to describe Singular's voice and his personality is that it's a cross between Hal8000 from 2001 space odyssey, the temper of Aida from Agents of Shield sprinkled with hints of Ultrons world domination plot and a dash of a creepy child learning about the world for the first time and then immediately going haywire.

Singular will be played by two actors (male and female) in a siamese type way giving off an unsettling robotic voice. You can audition with each other at the same time if you want just let me know who you auditioned with.
