Pitch: With the arrival of young cub Duck, brought by the Hunters, Solar (the yellow molly) and Sundown (the calico molly) share a brief discussion, showing both their feelings on the matter.
This is a comic dub of a Dew Surfers comic I've made. Dew Surfers is my own animated world about a group of cats living together on an island! And here's an interaction between two characters, regarding one of the key aspects of their group, that being hunters bringing stray cubs from their neighboring city island, to their own, in the hopes of granting that cub a second life!
Solar, the yellow molly, is clearly apathetic yet also agitated about the work she does, being a Hunter she goes to collect the cubs.
Sundown, the calico molly, is caring and compassionate, as a Caretaker she has a big heart for all cats alike, including both cubs but also her sister, Solar.
To any applying, I'd highly reccomend watching the video first to see the comic in its full context!
Solar is known among the Dew Surfers for being the most bitter. While normally she's silent and an observer, whenever she speaks she's harsh with a sharp tongue toward most with her sister Sundown typically being the exception. However, here she's clearly annoyed about the concept of bringing in more cubs, due to her personal dislike of them. So while she still carries a mean and closed off tone, it's more haste, due to it being Sundown. And if anything, she's a good sister...relatively.
Make sure to record this line at least twice! I'll be picking the best audition take to be the voice in the comic!
[Bitterly, snappy and quick to end the conversation] Yeah don't bother praising me, that's now another mouth to hunt for and feed.
Sundown is a Caretaker so she has a great passion for raising cubs and making sure every Dew Surfer has good welfare. She's calm tempered with a happy, sweet voice. She's peaceful but not quiet sounding. Generally she tries to avoid conflict and when it comes to her sister Solar she's tolerant of most her remarks unless she's really gone too far. Here however, she hasn't so Sundown stays calm.

[Sleepily mumbling/snoring, she's a gentle sleeper] z...z...z..
[Excited at the sight of the cub] Finally! At last, you two found another.
[Hum of confusion (!?)] [followed by a more relaxed hum (as she licks the cub's head)]
