Derik’s World Adventure (Original Series) (Old/Unlisted Casting Call)

Derik (Temp Name)

Local 16-year-old teenager, who's a loner kid with no friends and seemingly nothing special about him. He's actually the son of two heroes from a long history of heroes, he is the 9th hero in his family's lineage. His personality is really shy, socially awkward, and a bit self doubtful. But with him inheriting his family's powers, he tries to learn to have more self-confidence and optimism. With this power, he is tasked with defeating the series Antagonist "Sir Mavaldo", whose goal is to end the lineage of heroes and take over the universe for himself.

Personality: Kind-Hearted, Selfless, Smart, Carefree, Both Introverted and Extroverted, Occasionally self doubtful, cowardly (at first), depressed (at first), determined, Comical.

Voice: Make him sound like a kid/teen, with a slight Spanish accent. For some sort of reference, think a Male version of Monkey D. Luffy's Funimation Dub voice with a slight Spanish accent.

Ryo:

A Talking Shiba Inu/Fox hybrid who can shape-shift between Anthro and normal animal anatomies. He originates from an entire secret area of the earth where talking Anthropomorphic/Feral animals and was being hunted down by the military for scientific and paranormal research, and genetic mutations. He then proceeded to encountered Derik in the woods one night, and even saved him from a warrior from the "Mavaldo tribe". He and Derik eventually become close friends and fight alongside each other.

On top of being able to communicate with animals, he is also an experienced swordsman and martial artist. He also contains special skills relating to him being a dog, such as a Shock wave he can perform by growling and barking loudly, and his claws which he can use for combat.

Personality: Upbeat, Positive, Loyal, Kind-Hearted, Protective, Slighty Flamboyant, Nervous, Comical, A little Emotional, Intelligent, Careful Planner, Voice of Reason.

Lorra C.

She is a martial artist with a love for art, ever since she was young she's loved both things. Unfortunately, because of certain circumstances, she was falsely accused of the "disappearance" of her mother and a few other people and is classified as a wanted criminal, with everyone turning on her seeing her as nothing more than a monster. All except for Derik, who could tell she was an innocent and kind-hearted person and was the first person to ever show her kindness and respect. The two befriend each other and become a team to fight against the Mavaldo tribe.

Personality: Sweet, Introverted, Socially Awkward, Motherly, Creative, Intelligent, Sassy, Tomboyish, Assertive (To Those Close to Her).

Terry

Terry can be best summed up as a “Gentle Giant”. He’s an anthropomorphic Grizzly bear with an intimidating appearance but with a heart of pure gold, as he’s very shy, and cowardly. Being considered a outcast amongst most animals in the wild for his soft personality, being the only Talking anthropomorphic animals in his homeland, and being born with a transforming tail (One that can switch from a Bears tail to an Alligators Tail). He started to open up after meeting Derik and Ryo, even eventually helping them on one of their missions, and even becoming apart of the team as their Tech expert and Ryo’s Boyfriend.

Personality: Shy/Bashful, Sweet, Lazy, Senstive. Cowardly, Smart, Tech Savy.

Voice: maybe pulling off a impression of King Shark from “Harley Quinn”

Jake

He's a local bully in Derik's hometown and primarily targets him due to him "being a pathetic weakling". But after losing to him in a fight, he becomes obsessed with wanting to get stronger, and eventually joins the "Malavdo tribe" as a new recruit, but makes it clear that he's only joining for himself, not to help Sir Mavaldo. Despite Jakes's sour feelings for Derik at the beginning, he still maintains respect for him and eventually sees him as a worthy opponent/rival once both of them gain their powers.

His personality is very hard-headed, rebellious, egotistical, cocky, but does have a soft side to him, though he is kinda ashamed of it at first due to his parent's mentality towards being “soft and weak”. He is very ambitious and dedicated to becoming a stronger and better person, and although isn't very bright, does kinda act as a straight man to the anarchy surrounding him.

Voice Impression: I'm thinking a mix of Mao Mao's voice from Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart and Katsuki Bakugo from My Hero Academia. You can give your own take on the character if you want.

Sir Mavaldo

King of Darkness, and the most powerful human in the universe. His origins will be explained in the future, but his personality is similar to Aku's from Samurai Jack. Where he is a mix of both a threatening villain and a comedic villain, where you can't take him seriously one minute, but the other you can fear him without a second thought. In his good moments, he can still act like a villain but is laid back and a bit of a wisecracker occasionally. But in his bad moments, he can initiate an entire city with no hesitation or regrets. 

His goal is to obtain Derik's Family's power for himself to maximize his strength to eventually destroy the universe and reconstruct it to his own image where he is in 100% control.

Personality: Harsh, Brutal, Mean-Spirited, Power Hungry, Threatening, Sarcastic, Demanding, and Calm and Quiet.

Voice: Try to pull off a voice that fits the criteria above, with an intimidating/comedic villain voice, a voice you can't take seriously one moment, but you can another moment. 

If you want a specific voice for reference, a mix of Fire Lord Ozai's voice from Avatar: The Last Airbender, Nine's voice from My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising, and The Litch from Adventure Time
