Demented

The owner of the asylum, a psychopath. Murdered a kid who stole his pencil in the 3rd grade(with the pencil). Married, but cheating on his wife with his best friend. Doesn’t show many emotions at all. Manipulates certain patients into thinking he’s in love with them, forming false relationships with lovestruck patients. He treats almost everyone he meets differently depending on his intentions with them. Surprisingly does most of the asylum torture and work himself, he barely gets any sleep because of this. There aren’t many workers in the asylum. Has a scar on his right eye, blinding it. He got this from an escaped patient who’s now out for revenge and to destroy the asylum.

A transgender woman who murdered her bigot parents. Managed to get top surgery, was arrested shortly after. She was taken to the asylum where she hated Sagishi more than anyone. Also rather emotionless, but very determined. A subtle crackhead while still looking bored. She managed to break out of her strait jacket and stole Sagishi’s knife and gave him his scar, blinding him in that eye. She escaped as he was down and ran to nearby woods where she’s been living ever since, slowly gathering up more escaped and former patients as they all formulate a plan to explode the asylum. Loves McDonald’s and bubble baths. Protective of her friends and innocent people.

Sagishi’s best friend (with benefits). Was kidnapped for ransom as a child, his parents knew but didn’t do anything. His kidnappers recorded tapes of him being tortured and beat and being forced to do terrible things. He witnessed Sagishi in his first murder, and was mesmerized by the gore. He soon became obsessed with it and started murder classmates as well. His kidnappers found out and began training him to be an own personal hitman, yet the torture still continued. This all went on for 10 years until he was 16 and murdered his captors in their sleep. He escaped and lived on his own, but he had developed an absolute addiction to gore. Not sexual or sadistic, he just loved the feel and sight of it and everything about it. He opened an escape room which is basically the same as a Saw trap. They’d be tricked into going there and forced to dismember their body to solve clues and get out. Later he meets a young teen boy on the streets named Junsei Zetsubo, he takes him to the escape room and he survives which is very rare. He decides to take Junsei in and becomes a sort of father figure to him, junsei’s like an apprentice. He’s also a big fucking crackhead. They’re besties.

a young boy who murdered one of the caretakers at his orphanage, got taken to the asylum. There he was traumatized and became much softer and quieter, it transformed him as a person. He looks up to Warui and sees her as an older sister almost, she promised him when she escaped that she’d save him. When he’s eventually let go he’s a teenager and joins her in the woods. 

A world famous popstar and sex symbol. He was an orphan with a gift, who dreamed of singing for the world. One day a man named Chiru recognized his talent and adopted him, yet wouldn’t allow Meisei to call him a father. He’d be forced to call him by his name and have to work 24/7. He had very strict rules to follow to maintain the perfect body, he was robbed of his childhood and his innocence was ruined. The lifestyle rose him to fame, but quickly turned him into an asshole to the people he worked with and everyone in his private life. One day he had enough and killed a bunch of people at one of his biggest concerts, he was arrested and taken to the asylum. That brought out his inner child that was hidden. He was very scared and all he wanted was his Chiru back despite all he’s done to him.

The wife of Sagishi Myoji. They were high school sweethearts and ran away together one day to build a life together. They married and lived in a small house in the middle of nowhere. Megami dreamed of the perfect life with him always hoping to have a family, until he forced her to get an abortion because of an accidental pregnancy. She was absolutely devastated but obeyed him in fear of losing him. From that point on he only grew more cold and mean, ruining their relationship and getting too caught up in his work. Megami resents him now but deep down knows the man she fell in love with is still there, so she won’t leave him.

Born a cannibal and was an outcast to society. Growing up he had two imaginary friends which display his insanity and sanity. Boisu (insanity) and Shoji (sanity). He had nobody else to talk to therefore he was very quiet. At his 8th birthday, his parents decided to kill him that night. The planned failed, which resulted into him eating his parents and running away. After miles of running he ends up in a city and stays there on the streets homeless. Years pass by, he’s 12 years old and a girl named Darla sees him. They become best friends and Darla takes him to America along with her family. Him and Darla grow up together as close friends and eventually get married at the age of 24. They move back to Japan and spend 2 years there together. Until he eats Darla. Once finished eating her, he finds out that she was pregnant, 2 months in. Realizing his mistake, he gave in to his cannibalism after months of clinical depression. Becoming a convicted serial killer and eating people around Japan, growing more serious and intelligent, as well as becoming more tough and physically stronger. Years later he’s arrested, put into many mental hospitals and lands into the asylum.

Sexual trauma drove him insane, former prostitute. He decided it’s his turn to use people for their bodies like they did to him. He’d murder them and create sex toys out of their parts. He was arrested and brought to the asylum. He fell in love with Sagishi, Sagishi went along with it and created a facade that he loved Dirudo more than anything. He constantly reassured him that they’ll be happy forever outside the asylum one day.

Accidentally got his girlfriend pregnant as a dumb teen, was kicked out by his parents. Him and his girlfriend decided to get an apartment together and keep the baby. They were very happy and excited but they were having trouble with money and eventually became desperate. Daitai couldn’t find a job anywhere and the baby was coming soon, so he broke down and started crying on a bench one day. Sagishi found him and Daitai explained his situation, so he was offered a job at the asylum where he got to work with kids which he loved. Now his job there is to handle all the children in the asylum, feeding them and doing their torture. He can’t get out of it because Sagishi will kill him if he tries to quit. Eventually his girlfriend gives birth, but her and the baby don’t make it in the process. Now daitai’s stuck with depression and a shitty job he hates for nothing.

Very British and energetic. Dedicated paranormal investigator. She was inspired by Lizzie Borden, my favorite case. She murdered her younger brother and investigation partner, Andrew, with an axe in hopes of communicating with him from the dead. She was taken to the asylum where she finds it gloomy and boring, but is still happy all the time. She has no regrets though and tries her best to make friends everywhere

Asylum worker, specializes in medieval torture methods. Takes her job very seriously. Does whatever she needs to do to get what she needs.

Human taxidermist. She turns humans into taxidermy, buys the bodies off the black market. She was taken to the asylum and became friends with Lizzie. Always tries crafting plans to escape and likes teasing around with the workers and patients. She’s also very gay and short. Sounds pretty childish

Inspired by the song Mind Electric by Miracle Musical. He committed mass murder just for the rush of it, and faked being insane to the judge so his charges wouldn’t as bad. He was put through electroshock therapy to “cure his insanity” but it only drove him insane for real. Very badly. He went on to murder even more people and was brought to the asylum. They inflicted even more electric torture onto him, putting him in an electric chair just enough not to kill him. His brain was fucked up a lot and he lives in his own fantasy now almost. He blurts out random nonsense and is unaware of the world around him. He’s one of the most severe patients and lives in a special room with a hospital gown. He has a thick metal collar around the entirety of his neck to prevent him from choking himself which he tries to do frequently.

She’s the nurse in the asylum, healing wounds and making sure the patients don’t die from their punishments. She was tricked into the job by Sagishi and cannot leave. Her favorite patients are Warui and Kiyoshi. Her personality is bubbly, she’s a very positive person, very kind, shy and innocent. She cares a lot about the patients. I imagine her voice would be similar to Rapunzel from Tangled.
