Delta, A Halo Reach Horror Machinima
Project Overview
Delta is a horror/action Halo Reach Machinima based on the game F.E.A.R. The machinima adopts a bonus level available in the console version of the game as a prequel to the middle section of the game. The machinima is set to be around 20 mins long and is meant to be finished by December 25th as an entry for the Hub Machinima contest.

Character Information:
Delta 1 has been apart of the Delta Force unit for quite a number of years and has gained extensive experience and leadership positions in his military Career. He leans more towards strategic thinking and military discipline. He is rigid and authoritative but understanding of the well being and mental state of his squad mates. Due to his experience in combat and having a mature mindset of thinking, he doesn't notice paranormal events, almost dismisses their existence or tries to come up with a more logical explanation.
(Calm, instructive.) Alright listen up. We got a lot on our hands in this mission. The replicas have taken several Armacan employees as Hostages. If demands are not met, each of the hostages will be executed. Due to the severity of this, we'll be dropping in at one of the building`s fire escapes to avoid detection.
(Cautious, at a lower volume, not to the point of whispering.) Don't...Move...Take a deep breath, and follow my movements.

Character Information:
Alex is a the youngest member of the Delta unit, but is not new to military combat. This is his fourth mission and shows a bit of nervousness but also eagerness to prove his worth. Due to his still developing adult mind, Alex is more susceptible to paranormal happenings and will either contemplate what he witness or seek out the cause.
(Curious) Replicas? What kind of soldiers are we dealing with.
(Agitated, raises voice but not to the point of yelling) Why didn't we help that civilian, she was right in front of us!
(Perplexed and confused) I don't know. It sounded like a little girl, crying.
(Excited) Hey! As long as I get to see some action, Im game.
(Threatening) If you don`t want to be like your buddies, I`d drop that if I were you.
(Impressed but turns to confident.) I'll admit, whoever wired this up is a professional. But, I'm the master.

(Relaxed) Dont get so tense Alex, this isn't your first shakedown.
(Cold) Dont try me. See what happens.
(Calm) Can you stand? Good, follow me.
The man`s name was habreger. I remember him. But are the memories really mine...or hers. It makes no difference. He deserved to die. They all deserve to die.
A war is coming. I`ve seen it in my dreams. Fire sweeping over the earth, bodies in the streets, cities turned to dust. Retaliation.
Alma is the ghost of a deceased 12 year old girl who wielded strong telepathic powers and a strong link with the paranormal. In terms of lore, not much detail is given about her backstory. She is the most prevalent cause of of the paranormal events in the later half of the short.
Most of Alma`s dialogue is either crying and small laughter done in a creepy manner.
Acts as a mission advisor and releys information to the delta team.
(Calm) I hear you Delta 3, Ill have the choppers arrive with a med-evac, eta 5 minutes.
( Concerned0 Delta 4 are you there, I lost your signal for a second, is everything alright?
An Armacan employee who is killed by a replica soldier for escaping.
No please, Ill go back with the others just don't shoot-.
The replicas are cloned commandos. They are well trained in military combat and only follow orders by Paxton Fettel to the letter. Their only desire is to complete the goal of their telepathic commander. Due to them being clones and sharing one actor in the game, I`ll be having only one actor to be all the replicas in the machinima.
(Calm and stern) Prisoner has been neutralized, she didn't make it too far.
(Confused but turns to aggression.) Do you hear that? What the hell is that! Shoot the fucking thing!
(Improvised lines)
Most of the hostage dialogue to went to fill in as background folly, so nearly all dialogue is improvised and up to the actors. This role is open to anyone even if you already have a role. All audio in this audition will be used in the final production in some shape of form.
Respond in a way you are kept in a room surround by armed guards and another as if you were just rescued.
