Episode Summary:
Delilah is the daughter of the town healer, always looking for ways to help out. She loves to join her mother, and hopes to one day walk in her footsteps. The only issue is that Delilah has an affinity towards dark magic, not healing. When her mother ends up bedridden with a nasty case of magical measles, it is up to her to save the day. With her mother’s grimoire under her arm, a skip in her step, and her trusty cat Nightmare, Delilah is ready to heal the town! At least, that’s what her intentions are...

Delilah is a young witch who looks up to her mother. Even though she has an affinity to dark magic, she really wants to become a healer. Goes around town “helping others”, when in reality the spells she cast turn into gruesome fates. Doesn’t have the self awareness to realize she is making people’s lives worse.
(is deciding to help out her mother who is sick in bed)

I’m sure I can help mom out! I’ve seen her use her spells before. As long as I have her grimoire, nothing can go wrong!
(has healed someone, and feels like she’s done a good job)

These magic spells are a lot easier than I thought. Yep, I’m gonna heal the town in no time.
(has lit her grandmother on fire)

Werewolf, male (25+)
A charming gentleman, who is very kind and patient. Is a bit worried about being healed by Delilah, but is willing to give her a chance. His ailment is excessive shedding, and wants a spell to help keep it under control. He gets a spell that over grows his hair, to the point of filling up his house and overflowing.
(Delilah offers to heal him, even though she’s never done healing magic before)

Uh, Delilah? Are you sure about this? I know that your mom is like a super renowned healer and all, but I’m pretty sure you didn’t inherit her powers.
(his hair is new and shiny)
*impressed*
Wow! I’m pleasantly surprised Delilah! My coat hasn’t looked this new and shiny since I was a pup. I shouldn’t have had any doubts.
(his hair is overgrown and drowning him)
*drowning, crying out for help*
Deli-Delilah! My hair! It’s-(muffled by the hair)
*gasping for breath, terrified*
Help...Help! Please help me!
Zombie, male (20s)
Makes a lot of zombie noises. His ailment is that his limbs keep falling apart, and he needs a spell to keep them together. He gets a spell that turns him into stone.
*having a conversation with Delilah*
(makes conversational zombie noises)
*his limbs have been reattached, thanking Delilah*

*is being turned to stone by a haywire spell*

Ghost, female (25+)
Is a bit on the quieter side. Has been a ghost for so long that she has forgotten her past life. Is having trouble untethering herself from the house she haunts, and needs a spell to help free her. Ends up with a spell that sends her to the bottom reaches of hell.
(is explaining her worries to Delilah)

Usually I am able to wander about the town without any issues, but recently my being has been tethered to the house. I can’t seem to leave without feeling immense pain.
(has been released from her tether)

I can finally go and run my errands! Thank you so much for helping me sweetie.
(getting dragged to the depths of hell)

Is very posh, likes to have a spot of tea after terrorizing the human towns. His ailment is a broken arm, and wants a spell to help mend it. Ends up with a spell that breaks all the bones in his body.
(invites Delilah inside his house for some tea)

Welcome to my humble abode Ms. Delilah. Would you like some tea dear? Freshly brewed!
(talks to Delilah about his most recent terrorizing)

I must say, this generation of humans is so hard to terrify. Some of them even find pleasure in it! What’s worse is some of them try to take pictures of me! It was awful, Delilah, simply dreadful.
(bones breaking from Delilah’s spell)
*crying out in pain*
Argh! I-I don’t think this is working dear.
Agh! Ahh! Was it the right spell?
Witch, Grandmother, female (50+)
Delilah inherited her dark magic from her, and was a famed witch back in her day. She warns Delilah that using magic outside of her affinity can cause unprecedented consequences. Makes a comment about how she is quite cold. Ends up with a spell that lights her on fire.
(warning Delilah about using healing spells as a dark witch)

This isn’t a good idea whatsoever Delilah. Your affinity is with dark magic. If you try these healing spells without your mother’s help, it could turn dangerous for everyone involved.
(complaining about how cold it was in the house)
*shivering*
Your mother usually lights the firewood this time of night. It’s so c-c-cold…
(has been set on fire by her granddaughter)
*screaming*
Ahhhh! Too hot! Too HOT! Make it stop! Lesthia! Help me!
Witch, Mother, Female (30s-40s)
Loves her daughter, but also wants her to find her own path in life other than healing. Is a world renowned healer and all around powerful witch. Usually has to clean up after Delilah, and warns her not to perform magic without her mother being there.
(sick in bed with the magical measles)
*weak and sickly*
Delilah, I need you to go into town and let my patients know I won’t be able to see them this week. Tell them I’ve come down with the magical measles, they’ll be understanding.
(sees her mother on fire)
*terrified*
Oh my gosh! Mom?! Why on earth are you on fire! Don’t move, I’ll find something to put it out!
(chastises her daughter for making a mess of things)
*stern and motherly*
Why would you do something like this? I’ve told you countless times not to perform magic without me. You’ve destroyed the town! Now I have to hurry and fix everything!
