Decision 4: Red Daze {aRPG Game}
Project Overview
FLYANVIL Studio presents their latest development "Decision 4: Red Daze". This game has been in the works for quite a few years now and is nearing completion. The voices I am gathering are for use in its expansions some time after they have been fully developed and AFTER the initial base product has been released on steam. I am the head editor for the overall story and lore for the game and am looking for talented voice actors to step up and show us your acting skills.
BE PREPARED
A few key things we will be looking for in your auditions are the following;
1.) VERSATILITY
2.) RANGE
3.) CONSISTENCY
4.) CLARITY
5.) ENUNCIATION
6.) PACING
Another thing we will be listening for is the quality of the recording. Raw recorded auditions are fine but recordings with white noise, background noise, or poor sound quality will effect your chances. Same thing goes for edited recordings. There is a distinct quality difference between amateur editing and professional editing. Please keep that in mind.
Please keep the audition to a maximum of 2 uninterrupted takes and please keep it under 2 minutes. If the character you are auditioning for has multiple lines (3) you need only choose 2.
PAYMENT
Payment is a huge possibility. However, this has yet to be foreseen in the budget so for now consider these positions voluntary.

We are looking for someone with a naturally lower-pitch voice who can pull off a bit of a Southern twang as if the character is from Georgia. He speaks bluntly and should sound like a military commander.
From the moment the World Government abandoned us - for 25 long years - humanity has struggled to survive against the infected. The enemy hordes inspired the remaining military forces to form into individual guerrilla units called Bears. Because Bears primarily worked alone, at the start, many of them died. Still, enough survived to pass on their teachings to the next generation. I'm one of them.

The voice for this character is a chubby yet fairly fit 50ish year old Southern-like gentleman who's pretty much seen it all and is still the kindest soul you will ever meet.
[Welcoming] Well now, you've gone and found us a new recruit. Atta girl. (Pause) Howdy partner, names Lonny Dale and these here are my compatriots. Glad to see another friendly face around here. We had almost completely lost hope of ever finding anyone else alive. These times sure are tougher than I'm used to; but I'm still holding on to life...the best I can.
This young man is a troubled individual with trust issues and often has an attitude speaking up against anything that might endanger the lot of them even a little bit.
[Irritated] Stay your distance, Wanderer. The others might be okay with you but I ain't lookin' to make friends with anymore outsiders. Especially those who suddenly show up out of nowhere without a rhyme or reason.
This middle aged 40ish year old man is a born and raised cowboy hunter with very useful skills on the battlefield. He is often very calm with his words and actions and hardly ever raises his voice or fists.
[Reassuring] Don't mind Casey, friend. He don't trust nobody. He's still getting used to Ms. Miles over there. He'll warm up to you...eventually. In the meantime, just follow Mr. Dale's instruction and you won't have to worry about anything. Mr. Dale saved each one of us from those Hell spawns. In my book, that's a man worth following.

In this expansion, this character is short with people she doesn't know very well or at all. She fears for her safety but at the same time this causes her to be a bitter character who is mostly trying to look out for herself. Even though she has created a bond with those she travels with it is mainly to achieve a goal that her and the leader of the group have in common. She is an average American with a typical American accent.
When recording these lines, attempt to capture this characters overall mood without over shooting it or coming short. Have fun!

This young woman is a military soldier with plenty of training. However, being fresh out of the training camp she is still locked in military mode and treats almost every situation like a soldier would on mission.
Listen, I don't know who you are and, honestly, I don't trust you. But if there are others out there then it's my duty to ensure their safety. We have a camp nearby. You can tell me more about your friends when we get there.
