Hey there! Welcome to the Literature club. Here, I will be holding a casting call for a remake in gacha club of this excellent game! The only thing that changes is that it will be in a story format instead of a visual novel! Anyone and everyone is welcome to audition for the roles below. Please read the rules listed below, as they will help make this time much better for you and everyone else. I hope you all have fun, and good luck!

Also, sorry for how many lines there are in the auditions. I just want to be able to hear how everyone expresses their emotions.
Note: feel free to try for as many characters as you want! I’m sure we will have a lot of fun! Good luck to all of you!

Sayori: Say - yor - i
Yuri: Yur - i
Natsuki: Na - ts - ki
Monika is just Monika, so no worries on that one.
M/C: literally just the letters ‘M’ and ‘C’ it stands for “main character”

— RULES TO FOLLOW —
1. I strongly recommend playing the game, or at least watching a let's play for it before coming into this project. This will help you avoid spoilers along the way, whether you are cast in the project or not. I guarantee there will be many spoilers to come, especially if you are cast. It will also help you get closer to the characters, which really helps when you're acting as them. So at the very least please check the game out in some way, and get the experience of the game in its purest form. Trust me, it will be worth it. :)
2. Please make sure your microphone has good sound quality when auditioning. And when recording, please try to eliminate as much background noise as you can. I want to be able to hear all of your wonderful voices clearly when I come and listen to them. A microphone that I heard is great for a starter is the Blue Yeti. It's easy to use, and can help you sound great if you work with the noise reduction functions in whatever recording software you use, like Audacity. Other accessories recommended are a pop filter, which lengthens you microphones lifespan, and reduces harshness of P and D sounds, as to not peak the audio. If you can, also look into an arm or stand for your mic, as it improves the sound quality of the audio by reducing vibrations from your desk.
3. Be nice and respectful to everyone auditioning! No mean or negative comments please. However, constructive criticism is always welcome and recommended. Also, feel free to give upvotes on the auditions you like. They won't be used to influence my decision, but it's always nice to show your support for your fellow voice actors.
4. For those of you that are cast, the web site will send you an automated email letting you know that you’ve been chosen. You will have one week to message me confirming your role. Once that step is complete, I will send you a link to the Discord server where most (if not all) our communication will take place, and give you further instructions. If for whatever reason you do not confirm with me, I will have to give the role to a runner up, so be sure to get this step done ASAP.
5. Get as creative as you want! These characters have a very wide range of emotion, so even though there will be some instructions, I still want creativity with the sound, so do what you think works. You're allowed to do as many takes for each line as you like for your audition, so do what you think is best! Also, if it turns out that you want to redo an audition, simply let me know in the comments, and I'll delete your first audition for you so you can try again.
6. Have fun with this! I encourage all of you to give every audition your absolute best shot! Let's make this Gachafied fandub awesome!!! :)

Sayori is bubbly and cheery. She always wants everyone to be happy and putter her own happiness aside. She is very clumsy, noted for finding ways to accidentally hurt herself or to drop things. However, it is later revealed that she suffers from bad depression and works so hard to make the people around her happy to cope with her own lack of self-love amongst other things.

“You can just ignore Natsuki when she gets moody~” (whispering)

Natsuki appears to be a brash, blunt, cranky, and seemingly arrogant girl at first, with a cute, softer interior as a result of insecurity, convincing Monika enough to class her as the embodiment of a tsundere. While she is impulsive and can speak without thinking, Natsuki truly cares about her friends and, even when she has obvious anger issues, doesn't enjoy fights or arguments with people.
Her voice is a bit more on the higher pitched side and raspy, but not too raspy. (please don't make it too higher pitched)

Monika is noted by the other characters to be smart, confident and athletic. She's the president of the literature club and also happens to thethe only one aware that she is in a game. from Act 2 onward, she begans to be manipulative towards the player and want them to spend as much time as they can with her.
Anyway, her voice is more medium pitched and soft-ish.

Yuri is portrayed throughout the majority of the game as being shy, generous, polite, apologetic, very intelligent, mature, eloquent, and passionate about topics she is interested in, although she is also very insecure, awkward, and has a tendency to act slightly condescending and patronizing to mask her self-doubt.
Her voice ranges from medium-low and soft.

The protagonist was designed to function like a typical visual novel protagonist. He acts blunt and mean towards Sayori, his childhood friend; teases Natsuki, the tsundere; is warm to Yuri, the shy girl; and falters around Monika, the popular girl.
I don't really have a set voice for him, so just use whatever pitch you think would fit. :)
"Oh, it’s Sayori. My neighbor and childhood friend. *chuckles* She’s the type of friend you’d never see yourself making today. But I guess it kind of works out because we’ve known each other for so long."
"Monika, I’m surprised. How come you decided to make your own club? I mean… you could be a board member of any other major clubs. Weren’t you the leader of the debate club last year?"
"Ugh... My head hurts." (When Monika resets and deletes everything.)
"All words escape me in this situation. This club… Is full of incredibly cute girls!!"
"What the hell?!? Is this a nightmare? it... has to be. This isn't real. There's no way this can be real. Sayori wouldn't do this. EVerything was normal up until a few days ago."
"Screw the literature club. Screw the festival. I just... lost my best friend. Someone I grew up with. She's gone forever now. Nothing I can do to bring it back."
