Project Overview

The Dark Nights: Metal fandub is exactly what it sounds like, a fandub for the recent Dark Nights: Metal series. Basically, we'll be doing a dub of the comic, which will be released onto YouTube by issue. 


A six-issue series, the comic is framed around the journals of Carter Hall. The Justice League learn of a dark multiverse opposite of their own, which is home to the dark god Barbatos. Barbatos has been targeting Batman, planning to use him as a portal to invade the multiverse alongside his Dark Knights- Bruce Waynes from the dark multiverse. 


Note that there are several roles that are not included, which is because this is additional casting for characters not included in the first or as important figures introduced in the second issue. This means that many characters are very minor with only a few lines, so feel free to audition for as many of them as you'd like. 

Most characters don't have images here.

The deadline for the project is a little on the short side, though it will be extended until every character is cast.


There are a few rules for this project which are:


  1. You must have a discord! This is how we'll be communicating and how you'll get your lines to me.

  2. You must have a mic with good audio quality. You by no means need anything professional, but it should be good enough that there isn't a bunch of white noise in the background.

There are three evil versions of Wonder Woman so two actors will be cast for this role. I would prefer that the different ones sound different, so there is slightly different direction for the three lines given.

I'd like the evil Wonder Women to have a medium to medium-low voice. They should preferably have a European accent.
The first line should sound almost possessed. Feel free to layer your voice or edit it slightly for this one!
The second line should sound feral and animalistic.
The third line should sound *very* angry, low, and rough.
