Supporting Character

Wade is Darian's loyal copilot and a street-smart humanoid alien with a knack for getting into (and sometimes out of) trouble. He’s fiercely protective of Darian but often clashes with Constance, the AI, due to a mysterious event from his past. Wade is impulsive, quick with a comeback, and isn’t afraid to speak his mind. Despite his gruff demeanor, he has a heart of gold and would go to great lengths for the people he trusts.

  • Medium to deep voice with a rugged edge.
  • A slightly sarcastic tone, but capable of warmth in serious moments.
  • Think of a space-age rogue with shades of a reluctant hero.

  • I swear, Darian, if that AI of yours makes one more comment, I’m ripping out her circuits. And no, I don’t care if she hears me.

  • You want loyalty? Fine. I’m here, aren’t I? I've always been here. But don’t ask me to trust her - she’s not one of us.

  • The plan? Oh, you mean the one where we don’t get shot at? Yeah, that ship sailed about five blaster bolts ago.

Constance is a state-of-the-art AI designed to assist Darian on his treasure-hunting adventures. She’s logical, resourceful, and armed with a subtle, dry wit that often catches others off guard. While she appears fully committed to her role, Constance is evolving in unexpected ways, raising questions about her sentience. Her growing relationship with Darian is one of the emotional backbones of the story, as she’s the only 'female presence' he allows in his life.

Constance’s dynamic with Wade, Darian’s copilot, is more contentious—he doesn’t trust her, and she doesn’t particularly care.

  • I calculate a 94% chance this plan will fail spectacularly. That leaves 6% for improvisation, which, fortunately, you excel at.

  • Wade, your hostility is noted. Again. Shall I log it as recurring data?

  • Darian, I’ve cross-referenced the coordinates. If the rumors are true, this could be connected to the Codex of Eternum. Proceed with caution—or as much caution as you’re capable of.

Zay is a dangerous and calculating treasure hunter who serves as Darian’s primary rival. Zay is always two steps ahead and thrives on manipulation and strategy, often seeing people as pawns in his larger game. He's ruthless when needed but knows how to use charm and wit to get what he wants.

Despite his antagonistic nature, Zay isn’t a one-note villain. His motivations are complex, and his dynamic with Darian borders on grudging respect—though he'd never admit it. Zay’s ultimate goal is power, and he's willing to let Darian do the dirty work to reach his goals... for now

  • You think I’d risk my neck for something as trivial as honor? No, Darian. I play to win. Always

  • You've got guts, but we both knew that. How, I wonder, will you keep them from spilling onto the floor right now?

  • Come now, Darian. You know you can't win. Why even try? You never have before.

Age: Early 20s

Gender: Female

Role: Ship Engineer

Voice Type: Bright, youthful, and optimistic, with a hint of exasperation when dealing with "user errors." Should convey intelligence and a fierce love for her work, balanced with a no-nonsense attitude.

Character Summary:

Kira Venn is the sharp, no-nonsense engineer aboard Darian Holt’s starship. Despite her youth, she’s a technical prodigy who considers the engine room her “baby” and defends it with a mother bear’s ferocity. Highly intelligent and optimistic, she always believes there’s a solution to any problem-provided Darian and Wade don’t make things worse first. She tolerates their antics with the same mix of patience and exasperation as an IT worker handling clueless users. When they suggest something that might harm her beloved ship, expect a sharp and biting retort. Kira’s voice brings a mix of warmth, determination, and just the right amount of attitude to show she’s not afraid to stand her ground.

  • Darian, if you tell me to ‘just patch it up’ one more time, I’m going to vent you into space. The engine room is not a scrapyard, and this ship deserves better than duct tape and wishful thinking!

  • Captain, we’ve got a plasma regulator on the reactor that’s overheating. Your call, but I suggest you let me replace it before we can't... and by can't, I mean we're all dead.

  • Wade, I swear, if you pull a stunt like that again, I’m welding you to the hull myself! Do you have any idea what you just did to the stabilizer matrix? It’s hanging by a thread, and if it snaps, we’re all toast!

Elias Thorne is a middle-aged, polished, and calculating character, exuding an air of arrogance and sophistication. He carries a sense of self-importance, with a demeanor that reflects years of political maneuvering and wealth accumulation. His appearance is sharp—tailored suits, meticulously groomed hair, and an air of confidence that borders on entitlement. His voice is smooth, articulate, and commanding, with a tone that suggests he is always in control of a situation. Beneath his composed exterior, there is a simmering resentment towards those who challenge his authority, especially Darian Holt.

  • You think you can outsmart the system? You’re just a scavenger, Darian. A nuisance.

  • Your little escapades won’t go unnoticed for long. The government has eyes everywhere. Including mine

  • Let’s not pretend this is anything more than a game of survival. And in this game, I make the rules
