Danganronpa SHIPWRECKED
Project Overview
Hello everyone! This project is a fan-made spin-off of the Danganronpa series. No previous knowledge is required, however we recommend you familiarize yourself with it as there will be spoilers. Since this is completely fan-made, this will not be a paid job, but merely for fun, so apologies! A quick note about the style: it is not an actual game, but will be posted on Youtube in video format. However, it will have the same style as the actual games.
We are currently looking for voice actors, artists, and anyone who is familiar with video making (especially in the style of Danganronpa: i.e. sprites changing and captions on the screen). Feel free to audition for multiple characters or characters and the artist role! If you have any questions or concerns, my discord is thegeekycauldron#6989. PLEASE leave your discord in your audition, (if you have one), as it will be my primary way of contacting you. Also, below is the basic plot summary although there is a chance that it will be edited:
The newest class of Hope's Peak Academy is stranded on a desert island after their cruise ship crashes in the middle of a storm. Luckily, there seems to be a surplus of food and water, as well as any other necessities they could ever want. But there's just one catch: the evil robotic bear that seems to rule over the island is keeping them captive until they perform a dastardly serious deed. Will they make it out alive? Or will Monokuma's wishes come true?

Hana Nakamura is the Danganronpa SHIPWRECKED protagonist. She is typically very sweet and rather reserved when it comes to meeting new people, but she knows when to step up and lead a group. At the start, she stays within her own thoughts quite a bit, but becomes more vocal later in the series.
As for me? My name is Hana Nakamura, the Ultimate Florist! I was accepted into Hope's Peak Academy for my world renowned floral designs for both parade floats and weddings!

Miguel is the supporting character/best friend of the series. He is more outspoken than many other characters and is unafraid to speak up for those who won't do it for themselves. He is also half Hispanic and may sometimes switch into Spanish.
The name's Miguel Kitagawa, ultimate pottery maker. I'm sure that despite the circumstances, we'll get along great.

Fumiko is a passionate young woman who enjoys learning things about the past. She often gets very excited and has to tell herself to calm down when she begins talking too much. Due to her keen eye for discovering facts, she will be useful in investigations.

Riku is the antagonist of Danganronpa SHIPWRECKED and has a slight Byakuya Togami vibe to him. He thinks highly of himself and generally treats others as though they are stupid. At least at the start, he has no general complaints about the killing game because he thinks it will weed out the weaker ultimates, especially the ultimate florist.
Fine, if you must know. My name is Riku Yamada, do not forget it. And I am the Ultimate Accountant. It would take far too long to explain to simpletons like you what my job entails, so don't even try to ask.
This killing game is obviously a test, and one that I alone will pass. It is simply designed to weed out the weaker ultimates. I mean, a florist? A poet? The world is better off without the likes of you all.
Suki is an adorable girl who has her heart set on love despite being in such a dark situation. She has spent her whole life helping other people and wouldn't want to spend her days doing anything else. She is rather naive and gullible, wanting to see the best in everyone around her.

No way! Riku is for sure a super softly underneath his outward personality. Some people just take longer to get used to being friendly, that's all!
Moriko is a very headstrong and hard-working girl who knows how to get things done. She is used to doing things by herself and has no problems being stranded by the ocean. Due to her upbringing, she prefers to spend time with animals over people.
Huh? Oh, you're talking to me? Name's Moriko Eto, the ultimate marine ecologist. Got any questions about what's in the ocean, I'm your gal!
No, there's no way those wounds came from an animal... It's almost as though someone tried to make it seem like a shark attacked her, but the teeth marks aren't correct.
Kota is rather serious and doesn't enjoy when people don't follow the rules as closely as they should. He is used to taking care of younger kids as he has taught many of them through his life and tends to use phrases aimed towards them.
I am Kota Mukai, it is nice to meet you. My ultimate? Oh, I apologize. I am the ultimate teacher. There is nothing I enjoy more than being able to tell others what to do- I mean, er... Inspire them through learning... yes... that's what I meant to say.

Hotaru is very outgoing and fun-loving. He wants to share his love of animals with everyone he meets and often doesn't see situations pertaining them as dangerous, even if it means hugging an alligator. He can seem a bit airheaded at times, but he means well.
It's a beautiful day, isn't it? I'm Hotaru Shiro, the ultimate zoologist! Sure it's weird that we're stranded on this island, but just think of all the amazing possibilities there are to discover new species! Which one sounds better- the Hotaru Hippo or the Shiro Snake?

Masashi has absolutely no regard for his own well-being - not that he purposely tries to put himself in harm's way, but rather that he genuinely thinks that no harm can come to him because he is such an amazing stuntman. He is a bit full of himself at times, but his ultimate truly is impressive.
You mean you haven't heard of me? Huh. Well, I'm Masashi Tano, the Ultimate Stuntman. I've backflipped off of buildings and swam with sharks already... give me something interesting!

Mako has spent his whole life as the prophet of his small town in North Japan. He has many people looking up to him and there are quite a few people on the Hope's Peak discussion boards who feel he may have been better suited to the title Ultimate Cult Leader. He comes off as very nice at first but often has ulterior motives. Think Angie Yonaga-like from DRV3.

Momo is a very sweet although not incredibly bright young girl. Ever since she was young, her step-mother forced her to clean almost constantly because she believed it was all she was good for. Momo eventually came to enjoy it and was then scouted because of her incredible cleaning abilities at her own high school.

Daichi is a loner who has often been seen as strange considering his fascination with usually creepy-looking dolls. He actually has a very successful business selling kid's dolls, but he prefers to have scarier ones in his own collection. He does not enjoy being around people whatsoever and often speaks in a tired and slow voice.

Due to his staying inside so much as a child, Hiroto never really had the chance to make many friends. He used his talents elsewhere and began to create robots, which he finds easier to speak with because he knows what they're programmed to do.

Reina is a very serious young woman who has no patience when it comes to childlike behavior. She prefers everything to be well laid-out and doesn't enjoy casual conversations about nothing in particular. She is often thought to be older than she actually is.

This island seems to have a wide variety of chemicals. However, there are some that even I haven't seen before. Perhaps they are local to this area... How interesting.
Tomi is a very intelligent girl but honestly doesn't like her Ultimate that much. She really enjoys art, but when she was younger she found that architecture came more naturally towards her and so she was encouraged (forced) by her parents to study that instead. She has designed many famous buildings and rides for amusement parks, but she finds little enjoyment in it.

Ren often scared people with their looks when they were younger and therefore entered early into their father's undertaking business. Speaking slow and soft, Ren is often used to repeating themselves. However, they have a kind heart and truly respect the dead and their families.

I believe that we should honor his passing with some sort of ceremony. It is only respectful to treat the dead in a way so that their spirits move on.
Looking for anyone who knows how to animate in a Danganronpa-style way. This includes putting sprites onto backgrounds and having captions roll across the screen. Please apply with your own animation examples/a link to your project, preferably in the style if possible. Also looking for people to animate actual scenes such as executions.
