Danganronpa: High Tide | Subplot VA Auditions Pt. 1
Project Overview
Project Details
Danganronpa: High Tide is a fan-made series based off of Kazuka Kodaka's Danganronpa series. While we are utilizing the same IP as the Danganronpa series, Danganronpa: High Tide will build a universe with the absence of prominent Danganronpa figures such as Hope's Peak Academy, Monokuma, etc. Additionally, traditional Danganronpa tropes will be absent from our writing.
Plot Synopsis
With a surge of remarkable talent across the world, world governments established the Ultimate Citizen Development Act which endow those who have shown remarkable talent in a certain field an "Ultimate" title in their craft. Today in the United States, the USS Stardom was constructed to celebrate a milestone of one-million "Ultimate" citizens. Isaac Lachman, Ultimate Game Reviewer, was one of the 16 individuals invited for the first ever experience aboard the USS Stardom. However, it becomes apparent that the ride wouldn't be grand or exciting. The ship stops in the middle of the ocean, and it is announced that they're all stuck in a killing game. Isaac and his companions must keep their nerves in check, and find a way to escape the hijacked USS Stardom alive.
Requirements
You must be at least 16 years of age with the ability to express a variety of emotions at differing intensities. This is an unpaid position. As such, while we don’t expect studio-quality voice acting, we expect individuals passionate with voice acting who have an ability to tackle potentially new vocal challenges. Voice actors should be ready to make the commitment to stick around for at least multiple releases, handling both story-specific voice lines and general voice lines such as reactionary sounds that will be repeated throughout the story's development. While we understand real-life circumstances may impede this, it would be preferred if you'd be able to stick around for multiple releases.
Role Importance
Every character is written with the intent that they play a major role in the plot development of High Tide. We've worked hard to make character unique and integral to the story in their own way. Although some roles may receive more screentime than others, no one role is more important than another! As such, we have faith that your voice will be iconic no matter which character you get accepted to voice act.
Confidentiality
We trust that applicants are willing to commit themselves to this project with respect and passion. Every team member works together towards the common vision of creating the best possible story and entertainment we can for the community. As such, we expect voice actors will keep all spoiler-centric and/or confidential details to themselves unless explicitly stated otherwise. In casting you, we are trusting you to adhere to the aforementioned standards and to treat fellow members of the community with respect. Thank you for understanding.

Pam-el-uh Toe-bah-yay
Personality:
At the height of her success, Pamela redefined the standard of what makes a competent and noble businessperson. As the only CEO in the world to transform a dying company from bankruptcy into a multibillion-dollar company, Pamela likens her success purely to "bold intuition." Controlling both the healthcare and food sectors, she merely wished to spread her message of "Peace, Progress, Prosperity." Nowadays, Pamela continues to advocate for Americans to take control of their health, but with much less arduous effort than her younger years. She much prefers spending time with her children, Lucia and Lexi, and living her life to the fullest to make up for the time lost working herself to the bone during her adolescence. Throughout the years, one thing about Pamela hasn't changed: her hypnotic charm.
Voice Description:
Low-medium female vocal range. Soothing and alluring, but also eerily somewhat monotone and dull. Primarily soft-spoken but still manages to maintain a presence with her melodic voice. Capable of speaking more sternly and demandingly given serious situations. Pamela has a Texan accent, specifically from Houston. General southern accents will be accepted for auditioning purposes, but understand that you will have to adapt to potentially new mannerisms.

In matters of business, there's no better middleman than Aventurine. The Ultimate Merchant has an immense warehouse of raw goods at hot prices, especially for the reliability of Aventurine's quality and sales. He's a known public figure for hosting seminars on the art of selling products and personally helping those in need. His personality is infamously quite cunning and frivolous, but his statistics speak for themselves and his tactics are undeniably effective. Other increasing his importance within supply chain, he works hard to care for his sister Scarlett, acting as her shield and guide. Only with her do people see a softer, more genuine side to Aventurine.

Medium to medium-high young adult male vocal range. There's an elusive and mischievous quality to his voice, as though he treats everything as a game. Generally cool, calm, and collected, even in the midst of particularly strong emotions of happiness, sadness, or anger.

"It isn't everyday you're personally requested to audit the performance of government workers..." (Increasingly annoyed, especially after the word "audit; attempts to sound amused despite this)
"Hey, my sister may be odd, but she isn't some freak. Get her name out of your mouth if you'll just insult her." (Defensive; threatening by 2nd sentence)
