Danganronpa - Discord Pollution

Description:

• She is a rather peculiar and peaceful young woman who doesn't like to get involved in fights or drama around school, despite this she can be very sassy when she wants to be and won't hesitate to stand her ground. Amaya spends most of her nighttime looking up at the sky, finding constellations, during the day she usually sleeps from being up too late. Her friends find it weird that she is happy to go to school and that she is even able to operate after being awake so late at night. Amaya is in her first year of Utachiko Prep after applying over the summer. If she ever came across a fight between two other students she would find a teacher to diffuse the situation.

Origin:

• Amaya wasn't designed until later on in the project, she was just meant to be one of the other main cast, but after some thought, we decided that she would be great as the series protagonist. She replaced Lily (formerly Aoi) as the protagonist. Her original design included a purple colour scheme, but after taking a look at other series I decided that maybe we should go for a different colour scheme, hence the black, white and blue colours. She has come quite far from her beta. But we love her very much and can't wait to let you get to know her.

Voice:

• Amaya's voice would probably be something similar to Kaede Akamatsu from Danganronpa V3. She is a very sweet but sassy character so she would have a sweet voice but with a sort of sassy vibe to it.

Description:

• Daisuke is the complete opposite of his sister, he is quiet and reserved, she is social and full of energy. He is a budding manga artist who is part of a small company as well as studying at school. From his name and art style in the manga, he illustrates he is easily mistaken for a female so people are surprised when they meet him in person. Yukihasu-kun is most commonly known as "Hiromi's brother" as no one really gets to know the real him, they are just obsessed with his idol sister. If he were ever to come across a fight he would avoid being anywhere near it and would probably find a completely different room to stay in for the time being.

Origin:

• Daisuke was a later addition to the cast. Daisuke and Hiromi were not originally meant to be twins, in fact, they were meant to be best friends but after consideration, we thought it would be different from most Fanganronpa's if we had siblings in our killing game. He started off as a bookworm but after a while of using that talent, it didn't have much intrigue than it originally had and we decided to change it to a Manga Artist. He was also originally supposed to hide his face completely, we scraped it as it didn't really make any sense.

Voice:

• Daisuke is probably known best for his soft way of speaking with the occasional stutter, he never really raises his voice and when he does it sounds forced as well. He would probably sound something like Chihiro or Mikan (but more masculine).

Description:

• Kenta is a very energetic and confident young man, he would do anything to keep his younger sister Aoi out of trouble. He is very dependable and is a very close friend of Daisuke and Hiromi. The three have known each other since around the time that they started school. Osaki-kun's bravery can sometimes be seen as stupidity seeing as though he runs into danger head first without thinking. He wants everyone to be strong in the face of danger so that they can tackle any adversary and would do anything to make sure that everyone is safe and calm.

Origin:

• Kenta was one of the last students to be added to the series, his previous name was Kenta Azumi and he used to be the Ultimate Swimmer. That was before we changed it (of course) to the ultimate Triathlete. He was originally (way back when the series wasn't as big) to die at the hands of Lily Blossom but we changed this after the two got complete personality changes and became people that would never fall to each other. Not much else has changed about him other than some aesthetics, his concept design is still in the works and should be done soon. His old design was very rushed so it is good that we are getting a redesign for him!

Voice:

• Kenta's voice would be something similar to either Kaito Momota from Danganronpa V3 or Mono Owada from Danganronpa. He is very energetic all the time so his voice would definitely have to reflect that.

Description:

• Hiromi is the complete opposite of her brother, she is social and full of energy, he is quiet and reserved. Her energetic personality has caused most people to think she is rather annoying, but those who tolerate it are very close to her. She is known by a lot of people for her status as an idol so she can't really go anywhere without at least one person questioning if she is "The Hiromi". She loves singing and encourages her brother to sing with her sometimes. If she came across a fight between two people she would try and diffuse the situation as best as she could.

Origin:

• She was one of the late additions to the project. Hiromi and Daisuke were not originally meant to be twins, in fact, they were meant to be best friends but after consideration, we thought it would be different from most Fanganronpa's if we had siblings in our killing game. Hiromi was originally a Jetsetter but her talent was changed after she became twins with Daisuke. She also used to be completely based off one of my OC's that has also changed about her as she is more of an individual character now.

Voice:

• Hiromi would have a very energetic and bouncy voice that would match her personality. She would be singing quite a bit in the series not just in an event planned already, due to her talent.

Description:

• Felix is a very energetic and odd young man, he has a certain way of speaking that most people he knows can find very annoying, as well as this he also speaks in the third person. Though this can get on peoples nerves he has somehow been able to make friends at the school during his tour day. He runs a lot of online role-plays and loves to meet new people on them although he can get bored of having to set up the server beforehand as he prefers the actual role-playing. He has made himself known very well around the school despite not even having an official day there yet.

Origin:

• Felix has gone through many a change, he started off as just a regular roleplayer who enjoyed doing stuff with his online friends but after a while, his character changed a lot. He made himself a fursona and from then on his character changed. His original name was Kou Setsuko, this was before we decided to add students from different countries such as the two Korean students and the two British students. Other than this his character has stayed relatively the same throughout his time as a student in the killing game.

Voice:

• Felix constantly talks in the third person and has a very "kawaii" voice. He has a very weird way of speaking including a lot of owo's and uwu's and many other text faces like that. He may have lines where he adds nya~ at the end too.

Description:

• Akihiko is a very rude and obnoxious young man who seems to think he runs the world, he expects to be treated like a king by his peers and refers to those below him as "pawns in the grand game of chess we call life." He is one of the most entitled students in the school and this isn't helped by his parent's mad obsession with him being pampered at every second of the day. He simply uses people to get what he wants, money, power, love. You name it and he has used someone for it. He currently is aiming to use Felix Everest but hasn't been able to act on it yet.

Origin:

• Akihiko has always been the rude and obnoxious person he is today but his design has definitely changed over time. He originally followed a strictly cream and gold colour scheme with long hair and a pair of black glasses but over time we got bored of the current designs and wanted to change them up a little bit. He now has some silver in his design, adding to the regal-esque aesthetic we have going on for him. Like I said other than that not much has changed with Akihiko and I, personally, don't think much else will change.

Voice:

• Akihiko would definitely talk in a very fluent way, with a bitchy attitude to it, he feels as though he is a prince/king so he would speak and act in such a way too. His attitude is similar to that of Byakuya Togami from Danganronpa.

Description:

• Ren is a very sweet and gentle young woman who loves to be outside rather than inside. She is a first year at Utachiko Prep and was scouted rather than applying for the school. She is known to have a darker side but no one has ever really seen it due to her having a very passive nature and calm persona. If she were to come across an argument she would talk to both parties and try and make them get along.

Origin:

• Ren, similarly to Lily, is one of the longest living members of the series cast, she was second to be designed and has recently got a redesign making her look different to before. Her new design was linked to her talent by the fact that she only has natural hair and eye colours and she deals with nature. We didn't really get any inspiration from outside sources for this character, as I said she was part of the first few designed so she didn't really have as much depth as the others after her.

Voice:

• Ren is a sweet girl from the country, so her voice would have sort of a country accent to it, not too strong though. She has a very soft way of speaking, similar to Daisuke just take away the stuttering.

Description:

• Lily is one of the foreign students that attend Utachiko Prep, she is originally from England and came over to Japan with her parents as they wanted to create a bakery over in Japan. She is a very motherly and gentle young woman who treats her fellow classmates as if they were her own flesh and blood. She cares for everyone she meets equally and wants to help out when necessary, she is very close friends with Ren Toushi and they knew each other before attending Utachiko. The two have become very close and love being side by side.

Origin:

• Lily Blossom or as she was formerly called, Aoi Akihiro used to be the protagonist of the series, but this changed after a few changes to the plot happened and Amaya Mitsuaki was created to take the place of her. She still lives on as a student in the series and got a completely new design to make her match her roots. She started off as a hair edit that was changed into an official hair but after a while of looking back on her, she could have used a better and more thought out design hence her completely new design and name.

Voice:

• Lily's voice would be that of similarity to Kirumi Tojo from Danganronpa V3, a rather soft-toned voice that seems motherly and welcoming. Her voice would definitely have to sound sweet as she wants to make the first years feel welcomed.

Description:

• Jurou is very easy to agitate as he gets worked up over the smallest of things, he hates feeling as though he is being rejected from something. His role as a vigilante has given him the attitude that he is always right no matter what, this sometimes gets in the way when he is trying to meet new people as he comes across as quite cocky. He starts a lot of fights around the school and has gotten the reputation of a delinquent, many people fear him which also contributes to his delinquent mindset. His strongest hate is towards Takara Himishiro as she and he are always butting heads.

Origin:

• Jurou has gone through a lot of changes. He started off as Ryo Gina the Ultimate Student Council President, but when all the others got new designs he got a complete change, he went from being an Ishimaru like character to the exact opposite. He was the Ultimate Assistant for a bit, then Yakuza Heir and now his final version which is the Ultimate Vigilante. He has had many different designs over time but this should be the last change we make to him. We are very proud of his current design as he has come a long way.

Voice:

• Jurou would need quite a delinquent-esque sounding voice, possibly gruff. Despite this factor, he would also need to be able to have quite a calm and caring voice too, for certain parts of the script.

Description:

• She is a rather self-centred person who seems to care more about her own appearance than others feelings. Takara is a third year at Utachiko Prep and takes her role as H.B.I.C very seriously, she says it is because "she has made it up there and she isn't coming down". She is known to have a softer side to her personality but no one has got to see that yet due to her rude and malicious personality laid on top. If she were to come across two people arguing she was most likely the one who caused it, just so she can watch the drama unfold.

Origin:

• Takara was one of the first characters I designed for the series, she was originally intended to have a different ultimate talent and have red hair in a bun, glasses, dark skin and orange eyes. But we thought that this didn't really suit her backstory and her new talent. So we decided that it was time to change her appearance. She went from all together manipulative to bitchy and above it all. She is loosely based off of Cheryl Blossom from Riverdale. She has come a far way and there is still some more development to her character we are yet to cover.

Voice:

• Takara would definitely be bitchy and probably something similar to Miu Iruma from Danganronpa V3. She has moments where she can be bitchy and moments where she can be vulnerable, these need to be obvious with the way the lines are said.

Description:

• Hisoka is a very quirky, bouncy and social young woman who never seems to have a dull moment in her life. Despite her outwards personality, she comes across as rather dense in certain situations and this gets on the nerves of many of her classmates. She is best friends with Daisuke Yukihasu and the two get along surprisingly well despite their obvious differences. Mimoto-chan is never seen without her makeup on hand as she claims she wants to be ready if a "makeup disaster" happens.

Origin:

• Hisoka has always been one of my favourite characters in the series even in her beta stage where she was a lot less developed than she is now. She originally started as the Ultimate Vlogger but we got a bit bored with the idea and we couldn't think of how to develop that version of her as it wasn't really going anywhere. She originally had grey hair with a black and cyan bow in it. This design didn't do the character justice and she just recently got this redesign. She too was originally based off an OC of mine but luckily got changed to make her stand out a lot more.

Voice:

• Hisoka would more than likely have a slightly high pitched voice that would be annoying to other students at school, she would have to sound a bit clueless in most of her lines and no matter what would always sound sweet.

Description:

• He is known around the school to be fearless and always wanting to try out new stunts when he gets the chance. His physique, as well as personality traits he exhibits, has caught the eye of many girls at the school and he seemed to have a lot of choices but he picked one girl in particular and the two have been insuperable ever since then. Akahoshi-kun loves to try new stunts, some of them even include stuff at school so he has got into trouble quite a lot with the faculty for his antics. If he ever was to come across a fight he would present himself as a bigger threat and scare them into backing down.

Origin:

• Ryusei is one of the most recent additions to the class roster. He was originally going to be a one-off character who we killed off during the Prologue but after a while, the team grew attached to him and we decided that we should change our idea to allow him to be actually in the killing game. He was quite different when we first came up with him, he was reckless (still kinda is) and a complete player, he was said to have had sex with all of his dates. But after thinking for a while we decided it would be better to change it up a bit to make him more likeable to the audience.

Voice:

• Ryusei would have a rather bro-esque voice, making the character seem like a rather chilled and relaxed guy. But then when he is pulling off stunts he would have a more rough and cool guy voice to show how his personality changes between the two moods.

Description:

• Sang-hyun is a very peppy and fun guy, he loves to cheer people up with his music and would even go as far as writing small songs for people just to keep their spirits up, he is known to really get involved in his shows and puts his all into when he is performing. Some people (similar to Hiromi) can find his constant state of energetic annoying and causes him not to be able to bond with many others but those who are able to tolerate this are able to get very close with him. He and Kenta are best friends and met each other via an online messaging group.

Origin:

• Sang-hyun has had a few changes over his time as a character in the series, he started off as a brunette with blue eyes called Satoshi Chinatsu, this was before we decided to include foreign students in the series. Once we started to include the foreign students Satoshi was one of the people we wanted to change the name and design of because of how rushed it seemed. He became Sang-hyun Lee and has been that since then. He used to be the Ultimate Band Leader, then Rock Guitarist before we finally settled with K-Popstar after his name change.

Voice:

• Sang-hyun's voice would be very bouncy and fun sounding, he is a very musical person so it isn't out of the question that he would sing a few of his lines. He seems to get excited easily so this would also have to be reflected in the way he spoke.

Description:

• She is an unemotional and cold person, she rarely ever shows a care for anyone, but when she does it is very true. From her exterior most people expect her to be social and inviting, yet that is a stark contrast to what she is actually like. The majority of students at school have referred to her being a bully, purely because of the fact she doesn't show them any emotions. Her only friends are other artists at school that take their art as serious as she does. If she was to come across a fight between two students she would simply just ignore them.

Origin:

• Rin has come a long way since her beta, she used to be completely void of colour to reflect her personality, but after some careful consideration we decided that we could take a more ironic appearance, so we made her exterior very colourful and bold and kept her personality as the same void of emotion and completely calm. Other than that Rin hasn't really changed that much, she is and always has kept her emotionless way off acting.

Voice:

• Rin would have a very emotionless/monotone voice but still with a bit of humanity to it so she doesn't sound like a robot. She also has moments where she goes high pitched so the vocal range of Rin is quite wide.

Description:

• He is a very cold and rational young man, he doesn't like people who mess around with his investigations and prefers to spend his time in solitude to avoid distractions from his work. Masato isn't really liked by many students for that reason, his cold exterior seems to make people distrust him or scare them off. Anyone who does get close with him does get a glimpse of the gentle persona he hides under his facade. But it is highly unlikely anyone is able to get that close with him. If he ever was to come across a fight he would observe the two in case it could help with some sort of investigation.

Origin:

• Masato is one of the few characters in the series to have had a talent change during his redesign, he used to be the Ultimate Photographer but we decided to change it to Journalist to open up some new possibilities for his character. He used to have a more vibrant colour scheme as well consisting of turquoise and red which looking back now, didn't really go together well. He has changed a lot and it is probably for the best, his current design is very formal looking and is a contrast to some of the colourful students in the game.

Voice:

• Masato, similarly to Rin and Misaki, Masato would have a rather monotone voice that sounded serious most of the time, obviously with a bit of humanity to it so he too doesn't sound like a robot.

Description:

• Misaki is in a constant state of exhaustion, she barely ever gets sleep because of her obsession with theories. She starts it and doesn't go to sleep until it is definitely solved, which means she goes days without sleep. Most people find this annoying about her as she never really leaves her room so when people who she managed to become friends with want to invite her to something she says she will be done in a few minutes but that turns into hours. Because of her exhaustion, she is known to snap a lot and if she came across two students fighting she would threaten them both until they stopped.

Origin:

• Misaki was originally based off an OC that belonged to one of my friends, this was completely dropped when we both changed her talent and her personality slightly. She used to be the Ultimate Animator and was very sassy and occasionally bitchy then to the Ultimate Coder. But that changed and she is now the Ultimate Conspiracy Theorist and her personality is nothing like what it used to be like. Her appearance was altered from having purple hair with green accents to just straight up purple but other than that not much else has changed about her.

Voice:

• Misaki's voice would probably be a mix of Chiaki Nanami from Super Danganronpa 2 and Kyoko Kirigiri from Danganronpa. She is quite serious and can be a bit bitchy sometimes so her voice might have a bit of a bitchy tone to it.

Description:

• Min-ji is one of the calmest students in the killing game, she is always finding a way to calm herself down, whether that is tapping her fingers on any object near her or if it is making in-audible noises with her mouth. This girl lives off of ASMR and is most famous for her large ASMR account with over 1,000 videos and counting. She has also become an aesthetically pleasing person, she seems to change her colour every day, making sure her clothes, makeup and nails are all matching the aesthetic of the day. She is childhood friends with Amaya, Amaya doesn't like ASMR but she loves her best friend and supports her talent.

Origin:

• Min-ji, similar to Sang-hyun started off with a Japanese name and a rushed design but as time went on we decided it would be better to redesign her. Her name changed from Manami Yutaka to Min-ji Kim around the time that the other foreign students were changed to their new names. Min-ji was always calm but she was originally meant to have an orange aesthetic with rainbow nails. We decided against this when redesigning her and went for the different aesthetic everyday idea.

Voice:

• Min-ji would most likely always talk in a sort of hushed voice that would appear as calming to the other students. She would be very soft-spoken and only ever raise her voice if she desperately needed to.

Description:

• Emikit is one of the helpers of Arikuma, and one of her kittens. Emi is very bouncy but doesn't seem to know that much, hence her being dubbed the dumb one and gets along with Murakit very well as the two have no idea what people mean when they say certain things. Despite this, she loves to help Arikuma reach havoc and helps her keep tabs on the students.

Origin:

• Emikit doesn't really have much background to her (similarly to Aoi) as she was only added recently.

Voice:

• Emikit would have a very high-pitched voice with a slight robotic sound to it (as to put across the fact that she is actually an animatronic kitten.)

Description:

• Sophikit is one of the helpers of Arikuma, and one of her kittens. Sophikit is a very sweet kitten but can also be quite passive aggressive when she needs to be, she mostly seems to snap at Emikit for unknown reasons. She is very odd as well though, she appears to be hiding something from others but not even the other Arikits seem to know what it could be.

Origin:

• Sophikit has only really had one other version to her, a humanoid android called Sophikub which was changed when we decided that Arikuma was gonna be a cat instead of an android. During this, she had a blonde bob cut with a white blazer and a black shirt underneath.

Voice:

• Sophikit would have a very high-pitched voice with a slight robotic sound to it (as to put across the fact that she is actually an animatronic kitten.)

Description:

• Murakit is one of the helpers of Arikuma, and one of her kittens. He is very innocent and doesn't seem to understand when people make sexual references, this can come as comedy to the other Arikits. He is close with Emikit as the two don't really understand much compared to the others. The other Arikits do occasionally tease them but it doesn't seem to affect them in the long run.

Origin:

• Murakit has only really had one other version to him, a humanoid android called Murakub which was changed when we decided that Arikuma was gonna be a cat instead of an android. During this, he had pastel pink hair with a pair of black glasses and a white blazer accompanied by a white shirt.

Voice:

• Murakit would have a very high-pitched voice with a slight robotic sound to it (as to put across the fact that he is actually an animatronic kitten.)

Description:

• Pyrokit is one of the helpers of Arikuma, and one of her kittens. Pyrokit is very comedic and always wants to make the other Arikits and occasionally the students laugh, even if this does mean making fun of Murakit and Emikit. Some of his jokes do fall flat and this can cause poor Pyrokit to become rather awkward and stay silent for a bit, but most of his jokes do go through with good feedback.

Origin:

• Pyrokit doesn't really have much background to him (similarly to Aoi) as he was only added recently.

Voice:

• Pyrokit would have a very high-pitched voice with a slight robotic sound to it (as to put across the fact that he is actually an animatronic kitten.)

Description:

• Mikukit is one of the helpers of Arikuma, and one of her kittens. Mikukit is one of the most mysterious Arikits as she only ever talks 1 on 1 and never when everyone is all together. The only time she will ever talk in front of a big group is in the class trials. Even then it is as little as possible. She isn't really close with anyone and seems to isolate herself from the other Arikits referring to them as "those kits."

Origin:

• Mikukit has only really had one other version to him, a humanoid android called Mikukub which was changed when we decided that Arikuma was gonna be a cat instead of an android. During this, she had dark blue hair that was hip-length and a white blazer accompanied by a white shirt.

Voice:

• Mikukit would have a very high-pitched voice with a slight robotic sound to it (as to put across the fact that he is actually an animatronic kitten.)

Description:

• Nicokit is one of the helpers of Arikuma, and one of her kittens. He is very carefree and fun, he loves to spend time with the other Arikits. However, inside of a class trial he is the exact opposite, he becomes very serious and keeps the students focused on the class trial. Despite that, he really loves anime and compares a lot of the situations that the students are into anime he has watched.

Origin:

• Nicokit doesn't really have much background to him (similarly to Aoi) as he was only added recently.

Voice:

• Nicokit would have a very high-pitched voice with a slight robotic sound to it (as to put across the fact that he is actually an animatronic kitten.)

Description:

• Arikuma is the Killing Game Host/Headmistress for the series and she is very manipulative and knows how to make someone feel as though they have to kill for one reason or another. She seems to be very cute but don't let that fool you, she would execute you at the snap of a finger. She spends most of her time watching the chaos of a killing game from her cat home in the headmistresses' office. Not only does she have security cameras set up everywhere but she has her Arikits make sure the students aren't breaking rules as well.

Origin:

• Arikuma has gone through many changes over the years that she has been a thing, originally she was a human-like android that had purple hair held in two pigtails by red bows. She always kept these, she even has a red bow on one of her ears and one around her neck to symbolize that now. She also had a stage where she wore a black blazer (still as the humanoid android) but after some careful consideration, we finally decided for the Monokuma of our series to be a cat and her helpers to be known as the Arikits.

Voice:

• Arikuma would have a very high-pitched voice with a slight robotic sound to it (as to put across the fact that she is actually an animatronic cat.)

Description:

• Aoi is rather similar to her brother, she is very energetic and confident, she too would do anything to keep her older brother out of trouble. She is the person that keeps Kenta down to earth in situations and doesn't run into danger headfirst as her brother does. First and foremost in everything for her is her brother, she hates seeing him upset in any way. She even took up two of the events that Kenta does to make sure he is okay during training and actual tournaments. Some people see this as a bit weird but Kenta appreciates the efforts his little sister makes.

Origin:

• Aoi doesn't really have any origin like the original characters other than her name used to be Aoi Azumi. She hasn't been portrayed in any way yet so it is difficult to say anything about an origin for her.

Voice:

• Aoi would have a very similar way to talking to Kenta, characters she would probably sound something like are Aoi Asahina from Danganronpa or Ibuki Mioda from Super Danganronpa 2. She would have a very bouncy and energetic way of talking.

Description:

• We currently only have a few people working on the script which is not enough for all six chapters that we have planned. The scriptwriters would have to be able to work well with others and understand how to make characters appear a certain way (through speech).
• We are currently aiming to have the Prologue Script wrote by 6th.

Description:

• We currently only have a few people that are able to work on making the backstories for characters, for all the students we need to write for we need backstories for them to explain why they act a certain way or why they look a certain way.
• This will be helped by character building sessions where we will get voice actors impressions of their characters.

Description:

• The video editor would have to be able to deliver by deadlines that would be set by the project leader, the deadlines wouldn't be ridiculously short-notice or ridiculously long-notice. The series would need a steady flow off uploads so the video editor would need to be able to work with a routine.

Description:

• Sprite Artists are something we ware in dire need of right now, we currently only have three people willing to do any form of art for the series. A sprite artist would need to be able to draw in the classic Danganronpa style and be able to follow the concepts that have been given for the drawing.
• We are hoping to have concepts done by June 21st and then the aimed time for the actual sprites to be done is yet TBD.

Description:

• Environment artists would be drawing the scenery used in the game such as classrooms, dorms, ultimate labs and other areas around the school that would need art drawn for them. They would need to be able to work with others on the team.
• We are hoping to have some rough background designs around mid to late August time.

Description:

• This role is quite necessary for certain aspects of the series. Cutscenes may include executions, body discoveries, trial debates and a few others which will be specified upon later. We currently have no animators on the team and are in desperate need of one.
