Minecraft Roleplay - Danganronpa: Beautiful Despair
Project Overview
Who are you?
Hi! I'm BlimeySlimey, and I'm the director and owner of this new fine series called Danganronpa: Beautiful Despair. We're a Fanganronpa project that's in need of voice actors, artists, scriptwriters, audio/video editors and music producers. We're happy you've taken an interest in our project! By the way, for the very first time, this is my very first project in CCC!
What is this?
So basically, Danganronpa is an anime/game that involves 16 students who have special talents are trapped in the school. There, a sadistic remote-controlled bear by the name of Monokuma announces that the students will be forced to live in the school forever, offering only one way to graduate: murder another student and get away with it. When a crime scene is discovered, a "class trial" is held, in which the remaining students must discuss amongst themselves who the murderer is. If they can successfully figure out who murdered the victim, the culprit alone will be executed. However, if they guess incorrectly, the culprit will be able to leave the school and everyone else will be executed. Beautiful Despair is a Minecraft roleplay series that based on the franchise Danganronpa, but in the roleplay, we have added our little twists.
How many episodes are you going to do and how long is it going to be?
What I am going to do is split the chapters into 3 parts. Daily life, Deadly life and Trial, because it makes it easier. Daily: 20 minutes Deadly: 10 minutes Trial: 30+ minutes
Am I allowed to audition more than one role?
Of course, you can! Think about it that you are allowed to be cast for only one role, two if my crew and I felt it was absolutely necessary.
What are the requirements for auditioning a role?
The following requirements are as follows:
1. Good Mic Quality - This means no background noises, no static, no echoes. Just a clear voice with no background disruptions.
2. Discord - Since the project's work is going to be in Discord, we highly recommend you to be in Discord to participate.
3. Acting Ability - You need to be like your character, act like your character, think what your character should be doing. After all, voice acting has much more effective when it's believable.
4. Commitment - You have to be committed to this project and you can't be lazy or else you can't come on again.
5. Have FUNNNNNN - This is an important requirement. It wouldn't make sense if you were auditioning. Get out there and show some confidence.
Will I receive feedback for my auditions?
If you requested, we will gladly give you feedbacks you need.
Other information that I need to know?
- Anyone's allowed to audition for any role! Don't let anything limit you to what you want to audition for.
- Please leave your Discord tag with at least one of your auditions.
-If you are in the cast or crew of the project, please do not spoil the project. There might be a chance they will be devastated if they spoiled it. Keep it to yourself.
- For those that are willing to audition for the following roles: Artists, Video Editors, Script Writers, Singers; make sure to read what we've requested from you, or we won't come to you and ask you for your samples.

He is an introvert, kind, shy and fluent in writing poems. He has a normal childhood with his family and an older sister who supports him all the way. His favourite type of poems are elegies, ballads, haikus and limericks. He got inspired to become a Poet by his grandpa.

Dislikes: Loud noises, Fast food, and Natural disasters
Voice: Little high pitched but not too high.

He focuses on his character and is sometimes confident in his behaviour. He gets annoyed when people gossip badly about him. Tom wanted to be an actor because he wanted to go to the big cities and he loves entertaining people. He wanted to be in the spotlight. He preferred to do musical theatre, even though his parents did not approve.
Likes: Attention, Lights, and Blogging
Dislikes: Gossiping, Cats, and Mean people.
Voice: He would sound really posh and, medium to medium-low pitch.

She is very out there with her statements, not always making sense to all the group. She tends not to know when to stop talking. Often times, she comes off as annoying. Grew up with a travelling family, never really got to practice social skills, always on the go so she has to get her ideas out quickly before she forgets.
Likes: Talking, cloud-watching, and day-dreaming
Dislikes: Being interrupted, rainy days, and overly stereotypical manga.
Voice: She would sound like Miu Iruma (Danganronpa V3)
"Come on you should already know who I am! Wait... you don't? Well, then I'm Amelia Coleman, the Ultimate Pilot."
"This guy seems like he is stalking his prey... please stop staring at me."
"By the time when I get out of here. I want to do something and that something is skydiving!"
She focuses on looks all the times and often tells people how to look better and stay on trends. She loves attention, and always bragged about her “lavish life” and “rich parents”. Behind her facade, she’s incredibly insecure and isn’t as rich as she lets on. She grew up in a poor home, spending her free time drawing outfits she dreamed of having. Eventually, she got commended and invited to several art schools before Hope's Peak Academy.
Likes: Creating unique designs, praise, famous actors
Dislikes: Scrapping ideas, being alone, her past.
Voice: High pitched

He is most aggressive and always gets angry when he loses at something or when someone cheats. He normally resorts to violent outbursts or belittling others as a source of relief.
He has three older brothers, and he wanted to get more attention. His brothers did different sports, and they got lots of attention from their parents, but when Denny chose to do racing, his parents didn’t care at all.
Likes: Justice, Winning, Being the centre of attention
Dislikes: Being Left Out, Losing

"Why do you think I could have done such a silly thing!"
"All I'm saying is what you are saying is BULLSHIT!"
She is very mysterious and doesn’t listen, often saying that ghosts are talking to her. Her ghosts were her imaginary friends, and she doesn’t get along with people, due to the fact that her parents were really strict and then her Dad left her, and her mother couldn’t take raising her so she committed suicide. That’s when she wanted to be a medium, to talk with her mother and father.
Likes: The supernatural, solitude, quiet
Dislikes: Other people, noise, disturbance
Voice: Medium pitch

He is always on alert when someone is dying, or in need of help. He is a caring, calm person. Saving people is his number one top priority. When he was a surgeon in training he lost someone he knew, and that’s why he made it his life’s work to not make the same mistake.

She is very energetic and extroverted, she encourages the group the whole time to keep moving forward and never look away from their dreams. She is often times seen as the cheerleader of the group, and she embraces the role. Her parents wanted her to put herself out there in the world as a confident, young lady who likes to help others. That confidence also helped with her fire dancing.

She gets loud and bossy sometimes but she knows when she needs to stop talking and let others lead and say things. She might come off as a rude person at first, but she is a genuinely good person. She grew up riding with her dad on a train, who ordered her about, which had rubbed off on her. She is bossy because she believes everything has a spot, and if it's not fulfilled properly, it is incorrect. Always on time.
Likes: Being in control, punctuality, tidiness
Dislikes: Chaos, disorder
Voice: British accent, low to medium pitched.
"Jane Quinn's at your service. I conduct trains, I drive trains, I love trains!"

She is very calm and rarely snaps or says things the group finds mean or offensive. When she was young, she learned how to swim and surf. She was known as the youngest professional surfer. Wendy doesn’t get along with her family a lot, but she really does try to connect with them as much as possible.
Likes: Water, Surfing, Swimming, Others
Dislikes: Her Family

He is mostly crazy due to his actions. He always loves to kill someone when they request him to kill someone. He is seen by others as a sociopath, and they tend to avoid him His parents were neglective of him and his sibling. When their parents died, Vince took care of his sibling by becoming a hitman to have a better access of weapons, but then one of his customers retaliated after an unsuccessful, taking out his sibling in an act of revenge.
Likes: Taking the lives of others, Defending himself and those he cares about (they are very few)
Dislikes: Making mistakes, Small-talk, Being surrounded
Voice: Low to medium-low pitched

He is generous, funny, kind and smart fellow. People see him as someone they can talk to and get reasonable advice from. He wanted to grow up like his grandfather who was the inventor of the Grandfather Clock. As a child, he spent his time dismantling and putting clocks back together. He loved to make both but prefers analogue over digital.
Likes: Antiques, people, antique.
Dislikes: Critics, dirty clothes, being sick.
Voice: Medium to medium-high pitch
"Hmm... oh I'm sorry. I just remembered my own name and ultimate. Hugo Clackett, Horologist. Don't worry, I was joking."

She likes to examine things in the area around her and in the people she interacts with. Her curious and inquisitive nature cause her to be good at investigating. When she studied History, she was enthused about it. Her mother became an Archaeologist, and that’s when she decided to follow her mother’s steps.

He likes to put others minds at ease by making stories out of origami to entertain them all. People find his presence to be calming. He had a younger sister who had leukaemia, he would always show the new folds he had learned and told her the stories of the day, which is why he likes taking care of others that might be weaker than him, for the sake of his sister.

He likes to be those jocks and likes to watch sports a lot of time. Sometimes he can be a bully even though he doesn’t think like he is doing anything wrong. He is amiable, but he isn’t so bright. The reason he wants to be a Rugby player is that he wants to be a good role model. He was the image of the perfect high school student. He had decent grades and a perfect social life. Behind the scenes, however, he liked to bully, sabotage people, and ruin others reputation.
Likes: Sports, popularity, being the centre Of Attention, Belittling others
Dislikes: Being left out, seclusion, school

Script Writers are the ones who write out the script. They give out ideas and outlines that can go on to the script. To audition this, please give out your finest script that you wrote.
