Customer Service Phone Calls
Project Overview
Hi! I am making 26 short audio clips of phone calls (with a customer calling in, and someone at the company answering the phone) that are for internal training, so that we can play the audio clip and then talk about what kind of customer it was and what the person at the company did well (or not).
Looking for several voice talent for this! I'm recording some of the roles myself, but would prefer to make audio clips that show a nice range of different kinds of people.
All roles are paid, and talent will receive the finished audio clips to use in their samples/demos for personal marketing.
The goal here is natural, conversational, realistic acting.
I'll be editing together the "customer" and "customer service rep" audio so that it sound like they're having a phone call, so please only do light (or no) processing.
I've posted a few generic roles for auditioning. Ideally I'd like to cast each talent in 4-5 of these. Each mock phone call ranges from 390-1510 words total between both people.
This is NOT for AI, and I'm happy to sign an AI Rider (like NAVA's).
The cats are mine. Say hi to Miss Tofu, Darcy, and BroBro.
Please ask if you have any questions!!
Thanks,
Nichalia

Thank you for calling The Company! This is Sam. How can I help you?
[Replying to a customer who is angry and says they have been a loyal customer for years, and "that should count for something!"] It certainly does, sir, which is why we extended the six month promotion to a full year for you. However, it is a promotion, and it has ended. If you’d like, I can switch your TV service back to TV Green, so that your bill returns to what it was.
[After a friendly customer laughs that they don't know where to start for planning a vacation] [laughs] That is no problem at all. You came to the right place if you need to plan a family vacation. I’ll start by gathering some information about you and your family, then we’ll talk about what you have in mind for vacation. Sound good?
This customer is mad, and calling in on the phone to talk to a customer service representative.
Your gym is the scammiest place I’ve ever heard of! I want the money back that you stole form me, and I want it now.
Why wasn’t that charged up front? Why wait until July?
[calmer, but still upset] None of this was explained to me when I cancelled my membership.

[After calling company, and someone at company answers the phone] Hello! My name is J! I'm great, how are you doing?
I’m doing well today, thanks. Better than most days I’ll admit! I wanted to connect with someone today because, wait, hold on, let me start again.
I am the biggest fan of the New England Patriots, like the absolute biggest. I love watching the games, I throw parties for all of my friends whenever there’s a big game - I mean, you should see my house.
This person probably really likes making spreadsheets.
They're calling in to a fictional company to gather information, and definitely writing down notes.

Hi Sam, I'm Alex. I work for FictionalDataCompany.
I’m reaching out because, as you can imagine, we handle a ton of data. I’m the Chief Data Engineer, and we’re looking for some tools to help us visualize our data and make predictions and recommendations more efficiently.
Great, I'm just writing this down... Now, does that feature list the data sets it uses to make those comparisons? If it’s publicly available data, we should have access to it, correct?
