Corpse Party Dubbing Team Casting Call - Supporting and Minor Characters
Project Overview
Hello my fellow Casting Call Club workers! I hope you are all staying safe and healthy during these uncertain times.
I am bringing forth supporting and minor rolls in this series who need voices for this dub.
What IS Corpse Party?
Gameplay:
Corpse Party is a linear horror monster adventure game with some role-playing elements. It is played in a third-person view, top-down perspective. Players are tasked with exploring the haunted school grounds for a means of escape. To fulfill this task, characters must interact with the environment and surroundings such as picking up objects, talking to other characters, and inspecting documents while avoiding enemy-like entities.
The game's story is split into five chapters, each focusing on different characters and featuring multiple endings that are achieved based on the player's in-game decisions: a "True Ending" required for the game's progression; and several "Wrong Endings" that are unlocked when the player performs events irrelevant to the main storyline. Characters also possess hit points (HP), which measure how much damage they can take before dying, in some instances leading to a wrong ending. As players progress through the game, they will unlock ten optional "Extra Chapters", vignettes that focus on the game's side characters and expand the storyline. - Wikipedia.com
Setting and Plot BEFORE SSHBB:
The plot of the Corpse Party series concerns a group of Japanese high school students who, after celebrating their school's culture festival, are telling ghost stories and perform a ritual. The ritual is supposed to make them feel closer to each other as one of the classmates is moving away. A sudden earthquake transports them to a dilapidated schoolhouse in an alternate dimension that is haunted by the ghosts of people who have been trapped there. The main playable character is Satoshi Mochida, a kind-hearted high school student who is teased by his classmates for his cowardly nature. Three of the other characters are students from Satoshi's class: Naomi Nakashima, Satoshi's childhood friend; Yoshiki Kishinuma, an intimidating yet good-natured student; and Ayumi Shinozaki, the class representative. Rounding out the group is Yuka Mochida, Satoshi's younger sister. The game's antagonist is the ghost of a little girl in a red dress who seeks vengeance for her wrongful death.
It all started when the little girl in the red dress, (Sachiko Shinozaki) attended Heavenly Host as a student. Her mom is the school nurse, (Yoshie Shinozaki) and is very good friends with the principal. One day Yoshie was walking down the stairs about to leave the school when the principal showed up and began acting differently. He accidentally pushed Yoshie down the stairs, Immediately breaking her neck when she hit the bottom. Sachiko happened to see this and tried to run away, but the principal grabbed and strangled her before she could tell anyone. He then felt so guilty that he committed suicide by jumping off the roof. Soon after, Sachiko used the gym teacher as some sort of toy and commanded he helped her kill 3 children from the school, while also acting like one of them. (Ryou Yoshizawa, Tokiko Tsuji, and Yuki Kanno). He did this because he is terrified of her. Soon after he killed himself because he didn't want to live with what he had done. Yoshie was telling Sachiko that there weren't enough people with her spirit in Heavenly Host and that she was lonely, this caused Sachiko to form the "Sachiko Forever" charm to bring people in for her mother. Soon Sachiko began doing it for fun and not for her mother anymore, her mother became very worried about her and pleaded for her to stop but she does not listen. Thus being Corpse Party. - Wikipedia.com
Setting and Plot of SSHBB:
On the day of Sachiko's birth and death, the curse on her weakens and she gets 24 hours to celebrate her birthday as someone closer to the girl she was before her death. She uses the timeloops as established in Corpse Party: Book of Shadows to force all survivors at that point to participate in activities she has set up. Given it's either that or die horribly again, something all are aware that they've already experienced but can't remember in full, they go along with her demands. The game features almost all characters from the previous games and some new ones. While a pseudo-horror spin-off at best, it is part of the storyline, setting up a few details to prepare for Corpse Party: Blood Drive.
As with Corpse Party: Book of Shadows, there is only one extra chapter. This extra chapter takes place during the previous game and is more conventional horror. It tells of Yoshiki's and Ayumi's encounter with four students from Sugatani Senior High School, notably Azusa Takai. - Wikipedia.com

Yui Shishido (宍戸 結衣 Shishido Yui?) is is a major character introduced in Corpse Party (PC). She is an assistant English homeroom teacher of Kisaragi Academy Senior High School's classroom 2-9, previously a student of classroom 3-4 and a victim of Heavenly Host Elementary School.
Yui is a young teacher who has just started her career at Kisaragi Academy. She is cheerful and friendly to her students, especially to Ayumi Shinozaki, who compares Yui to a sister, and plays pranks along with her. Even though she is enthusiastic, she believed that she was a bad teacher, until Hajime Yamazaki explained to her the true meaning of teaching. Throughout the events in Heavenly Host, Yui proves to be a brave and determined individual that deeply cares for her students, even more than herself.
Her voice is more lower ranged.
Requirements:
- You must be able to scream and fake cry.
"I'm not sure why I believed that. Maybe because I needed to." (Worrisome, yet reassuring)
"I think I speak for every single one of us at Kisaragi Academy... when I say that we love our children... We care about them just as their parents do. Never underestimate a teacher." (Sweet in the beginning, the last line is stern)
"That’s true. I’m glad we were all able to reunite like this, but we clearly still haven’t escaped Heavenly Host, so we shouldn’t get our hopes up yet. We have to keep ourselves on alert, okay?"
Naho Saenoki (冴之木 七星 Saenoki Naho?) is a character introduced in Corpse Party (PC) and a major recurring character in the Corpse Party series. She is the main protagonist of Corpse Party Cemetery0 light novel and Corpse Party CEMETERY0 ~Kaibyaku no Ars Moriendi~ manga.
She is a student of Paulownia Academy High School's classroom 2-1, a schoolgirl paranormalist, and a victim of Heavenly Host Elementary School.
Naho initially presented herself as a stoic, wise, and enigmatic character who seemed to harbor ethically vague sentiments. However, she gradually evinced her darker emotions when Ayumi Shinozaki confronted her about the underlying circumstances behind Kou Kibiki's demise and the Sachiko Ever After charm. Naho's obsession for Kou motivated her to sabotage the charm's instructions in hopes of giving her mentor more "samples" to study. Naho's love, selfishness, and callousness ultimately became her downfall when she realized what she has done when she was affected by darkening.
In spite of the aforementioned traits, Naho's personality had some endearing aspects, such as amiability and childish eccentricity; which were evidenced by her interactions with Sayaka Ooue. Sayaka regarded Naho as her best friend, and the sentiment seemed mutual.
Requirements:
- Be ready to yell and be able to laugh hysterically.
"You care for your loved ones...thus you suffer sorrow and despair. The beautiful stigmata that is bonded by both the living and the dead." (emotionless)
"Until the moment you die, you will be alone." (angered but somewhat emotionless)
"You... want us to have fun?" (questioning and confused)
Ryou Yoshizawa (吉沢 遼 Yoshizawa Ryō?) (1965 - 1973) was a student of Heavenly Host Elementary School's classroom 3-5, one of the three children spirits who roam Heavenly Host Elementary School, and one of the three victims of the murder case that took place in it.
Not much is known about Ryou's personality before his death.
Out of the three children spirits, he is the most aggressive and appears the most. In Corpse Party: Blood Covered manga, Corpse Party: Another Child and Corpse Party: Tortured Souls he is seen taunting his victims before killing them. Much like Yuki Kanno, he uses pronouns "Big brother/Big sister" on his victims, as seen in Tortured Souls, where he addresses Yoshiki Kishinuma and Ayumi Shinozaki in such a way.
Ryou's main killing methods include inducing hallucinations on his victims, as seen by the hallucinations Yoshiki sees in Corpse Party (buried alive or having wires cut him in half) while making his victims strangle themselves to death. He also uses scissors and stabs his victims, much like the rest of the spirits.
His voice is high pitched because he is a child.
Requirements:
- You must be able to laugh psychotically.
"Happy Birthday!" (He has no tongue, please keep that in mind when recording)
"Give... it... BAAAAAAAACK!" (furious yelling with no tongue)
Tokiko Tsuji (辻 時子 Tsuji Tokiko?) (1966 - 1973) was a student of Heavenly Host Elementary School's classroom 1-6, one of the three children spirits who roam Heavenly Host Elementary School, and one of the three victims of the murder case that took place in it.
Tokiko is the least prominent of the ghost children, and as a result, little is known about her. In life, she was presumably fairly immature due to her age. As a ghost, she is violent and doesn't listen to much reason. However, it can be noted that she is the least violent of the three ghost children. In the spin-off manga, Corpse Party: Another Child, she even takes up the role of a supporting character by helping the main group of kids with free advice and saved them from some close calls.
Requirements:
- You must be able to laugh psychotically.
"Let's paint a picture. You can be the paint!" (From her tongue up, her head is cut completely off. It would be pronounced 'Leth paihnn a picshah. Yhuu can be the paihnn!')
"Happy Birthday!" (Pronounced 'Ahee Irr-haay!')
Yoshikazu Yanagihori (柳堀 ヨシカズ Yanagihori Yoshikazu?) (1941 - 1974) was a teacher of Heavenly Host Elementary School, and a recurring antagonist in the Corpse Party series.
He is the son of Heavenly Host Elementary School principal Takamine Yanagihori.
In life, Yoshikazu was a sympathetic man who was an employee at Heavenly Host Elementary School. He was well acquainted with a fellow student named Yuki Kanno and was willing to hear out her problems with her mother.
After Yoshie Shinozaki cursed his entire bloodline, chipping away his mental stability and free will, he was forced to takes orders from her daughter, who made him kill those who enter the building of Heavenly Host Elementry School, through the Sachiko Ever After charm.
Even in death, Yoshikazu still serves Sachiko and as such can be found roaming the halls of Heavenly Host looking for people to kill. A number of the corpses found inside the school were killed by his weapon of choice, a large sledgehammer. Another method used by him to murder is knocking the victims unconscious with the sledgehammer and bringing them to the school basement, where he proceeds to drain the blood from the body. He is also known to take his victims dead, or possibly alive, to the dissection room in the school's basement and dissect them piece by piece putting their remains into buckets.
Only once did he disobey Sachiko's order to kill, but he followed through with it later after Sachiko threatened his safety.
Requirements:
- You must be able to yell random sounds, that's pretty much it.
"ROOOOOOAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!" (yelling, record a few different emotions such as anger and sad.)
Sayaka Ooue (大上 さやか Ōue Sayaka?) is a character introduced in Corpse Party (PC).
She is a student of Paulownia Academy High School's classroom 2-1, a radio personality and a model, and a victim of Heavenly Host Elementary School.
Sayaka is a sweet and caring girl, albeit leads a busy life, especially because of her part-time job as a radio personality. Her friendship with Naho is strong, forgiving her if she does anything wrong. She would even risk her life for Naho's wishes, even when in death. She sees Kou as handsome but is not romantically interested in him. She dislikes maggots and the sight of blood; the sheer sight and feeling will send chills down her spine.
Sayaka also declines and possibly hates her childhood friend Haruyuki Inumaru as she gets annoyed by his behavior.
Sayaka used to be an unpopular and unattractive girl. However, she got sick of herself, so she forced herself to be prettier to increase her popularity and self-esteem. It's also the reason she is surprised when she finds out that her beautiful friend has no social contacts, as she expected that every pretty girl must be popular.
Requirements:
- Be ready to scream and cry.
"Naaaaahoooo!" (she's yelling out her friends name, they haven't seen each other after almost dying)
"Umm... I'd like to go home, please!" (scared, but somewhat confident)
"Our friendship will last forever... it will never die." (comforting)
Haruyuki Inumaru (犬丸 晴行 Inumaru Haruyuki?) is a character introduced in Corpse Party: Book of Shadows light novel.
He is a student of Paulownia Academy High School's classroom 2-1 and a victim of Heavenly Host Elementary School.
Haruyuki is a generally friendly and cheerful boy who is in love with with his childhood friend, Sayaka Ooue, and always attempts to get her attention. She harshly rejects him, however, and generally sees him as a nuisance. Despite that, Haruyuki is willing to get hurt to protect her and values her above his own safety. He even claims that he doesn't care if he has any friends as long as Sayaka is in his life.
Haruyuki possesses high spiritual energy for going through ascetic training to protect Sayaka from supernatural harm.[2]
"... You're "sorry"? You want to preserve her memory?! Are you fucking kidding me?! Don't you even care?! Do you have any conscious at all?!" (pissed off, grieving over a loved one's death, upset and hurt)
'Wait for me, Sayakaaaaaa!" (running after his crush, loving)
Yoshie Shinozaki (篠崎 ヨシヱ Shinozaki Yoshie?) (1926 - 1953) is a character introduced in Corpse Party (PC). She was a nurse of Heavenly Host Elementary School.
She is the mother of Sachi and Sachiko Shinozaki, the wife of Seiji Shinozaki, the niece of Makina Shinozaki, and the first cousin twice removed of Hinoe and Ayumi Shinozaki.
Whilst she was alive, Yoshie was a kind, caring school nurse who loved to be around children, especially her own child Sachiko Shinozaki who she called her own "pride and joy" and seemed to be on good terms with Takamine Yanagihori before her death. After her death by the hands of the Principal she had a desire for revenge and placed a curse on the Yanagihori family, she also gradually became jealous of the nurse that replaced her, as well as the living in general. After several years, she became lonely and whilst under the influence of the darkening, wished for company. Her daughter Sachiko fulfilled her wishes and killed numerous children, sending their spirits to Heavenly Host to keep her company.
VOICE RANGE: MID/SEMI-DEEP FEMALE
"Sachi is my pride and joy. She'd do anything for me." (monotone)
"I'm so sorry Sachiko... *sniffle* Mommy will never leave you again, I promise!" (crying, tearing up)
"Darling, stay with me! No... No...!" (panicking over her lover dying)
Kensuke Kurosaki (黒崎 健介 Kurosaki Kensuke?) is a student of Byakudan Senior High School's classroom 2-4, a character introduced in Corpse Party (PC), and a victim of Heavenly Host Elementary School.
He’s a classmate and childhood friend of Yuuya Kizami; they often used to play together when they were little. His cheerfulness and sociability make him the class mood-maker. He is also a member of the baseball club. Since childhood, he has loved exercising and running around the neighborhood. Teachers give him good grades, and he’s willing to take on chores. However, because of his personality, he often gets bossed around by the student council representative, Mitsuki Yamamoto. He was trapped in Heavenly Host after performing the Sachiko Ever After charm with his classmates.
"...I'm sorry. I should have done more to stop you....when we were kids. I'm...your best friend, after all. But I never filled that role very well. I never did the things I should've... Heh...yeah... I... *hack* I guess I...really haven't...been a very good friend..." (guilty, taking blame)
Kai Shimada (島田 快 Shimada Kai?) is a student of Byakudan Senior High School's classroom 2-4, a character introduced in Corpse Party (PC), and a victim of Heavenly Host Elementary School.
Kai is a red-haired high school student who stands out in the same class as Yuuya Kizami. He is a model for a popular men's magazine, known as Men's Buckle. In contrast to the quiet and behaving Yuuya, Kai is loud, foul-mouthed, and rude, often going around intimidating his fellow classmates and committing acts of vandalism; however, he's also popular among girls for his looks. He is rather selfish, shown to be willing to abandon his friends to save his own life without a second thought. He is a notorious womanizer, and it is rumored that he has as many as ten simultaneous girlfriends.
Kai is also incredibly arrogant, frequently boasting about his characteristics, and describing himself as "Mr. Perfect," and a "real renaissance man." Fitting with this, he can also act rather eccentric, and often exaggerates what he does and says, dubbing Yuuya his "moral enemy", coming up with almost absurd ways of beating him and bursting into fits of maniacal laughter seemingly at random. He is a very sore loser and despises those who are weak or stand up to him. He holds a particularly fierce grudge against Yuuya. As a result of all these traits, Kai is either feared or disliked by the majority of ordinary students, though he isn't unpopular per-say.
However, Kai is very much aware of the negative view people have of him, and seems genuinely upset by this, claiming that he works hard behind the scenes and that there is "more to him."
"You guys go back if you want, but I'm leavin'. ... I'm not about to stick around in this fucked-up place any longer than I have to. Screw the others; I'm outta here! ... Hell yeah I'm serious! Those assholes are the ones who chose to stay behind. They're just gonna die one by one, and I say let 'em!" (ignorant)
"I'm actually thinkin' of invitin' Kizami to hang out, but I wanna know what sorts of things he doesn't like so I can... uhh... avoid them." (trying to hide something, curious)
Mitsuki Yamamoto (山本 美月 Yamamoto Mitsuki?) is a student of Byakudan Senior High School's classroom 2-4 and student council secretary, a minor character introduced in Corpse Party (PC), and a victim of Heavenly Host Elementary School.
Mitsuki Yamamoto is a classmate of Yuuya Kizami and the secretary of Byakudan's student council. She has a strong mind, a tomboyish and a somewhat naïve personality. She is also quite strict and likes to keep things clean and organized. She has become a big sister-like presence in both her class and the student council. Due to her merciless attitude towards slovenly men she is called “Hellgirl Mitsuki” amongst the male first-graders. As she does the chores at home with her grandmother, she is a very good cook. Her usual severe attitude might be a reflection of her motherly instinct.
"...Why has it come to this?! I don't get it! I just don't understand! WHY CAN'T I TRUST HIM?! I CAN'T TRUST ANYONE ANYMORE!!" (sad, but leads into rage)
"Hmm... You also strike me as a kind of father figure, in a way!" (teasing)
Tohko Kirisaki (霧崎 凍孤 Kirisaki Tōko?) is a student of Byakudan Senior High School's classroom 2-4, a major character introduced in Corpse Party (PC), and a victim of Heavenly Host Elementary School.
Tohko loves fortune-telling, a passion she shares with her best friends Emi Urabe and Mitsuki Yamamoto. Tohko is usually lively and cheerful but occasionally will act surprisingly nervous. She loathes Kai Shimada for his irresponsible way of dealing with girls and, in contrast to him, has a crush on the ostensibly "cool and spotless" Yuuya Kizami.
"*hic* ...Everyone... ...Everyone's going to go crazy in here!" (crying, scared)
Emi Urabe (卜部 恵美 Urabe Emi?) is a student of Byakudan Senior High School's classroom 2-4, a minor character in Corpse Party (PC), and a victim of Heavenly Host Elementary School.
Emi is a naturally charming, kind and plump glasses-wearing girl who radiates of cheerfulness. Mitsuki Yamamoto, Tohko Kirisaki and her have been best friends since first grade. She likes fortune-telling, and was the one who found and told her friends about the "Sachiko Ever After" charm.
"We just...need to get out of here. We need to work together and get out of this horrible place. Let's... Let's try to find an exit." (leading, scared at first then leading into confidence)
Nana Ogasawara (小笠原 奈那 Ogasawara Nana?) is a student of Musashigawa Girls' Middle School's classroom I-4, a victim of Heavenly Host Elementary School, and a character introduced in Corpse Party (PC).
Nana is an optimistic young girl with more diplomatic qualities than her classmates that accompany her in Heavenly Host. She befriends and later helps a ghost, despite him scaring her classmates, who only come to trust the spirit when Nana assures them he is a friend. She is afraid of her friends splitting up and attempts to reason with Nari Amatoya and Chihaya Yamase when the two fight, though she's unable to side with either of them, leading to the three going their separate ways. She also gets along well with Mayu Suzumoto, as they both participate in their schools' theater clubs and even talks with her about Sakutaro Morishige.
"We had to continue struggling against our fate, calling out into the darkness with whatever voices we had left... ...for as long as we lived..." (thinking to herself)
Chihaya Yamase (山瀬 千早 Yamase Chihaya?) is a student of Musashigawa Girls' Middle School's classroom I-4, a victim of Heavenly Host Elementary School, and a character introduced in Corpse Party (PC).
Chihaya is a quiet, friendly, and clingy girl. Due to being somewhat spoiled, she expects others to treat her in a similar way and thus doesn't get along particularly well with Nari Amatoya. Easily scared, she often lets her emotions take control of her actions.
"I'm tired... I hate this. *sob* *sob* I want to go home..." (crying, devastated, having an emotional breakdown)
"Do you FINALLY know who the killer is?" (sarcastic, annoyed)
Nari Amatoya (天戸屋 成 Amatoya Nari?) is a student of Musashigawa Girls' Middle School's classroom I-6, a victim of Heavenly Host Elementary School, and a character introduced in Corpse Party (PC).
Nari easily loses patience and is quickly annoyed. However, she keeps a cool head and doesn't whine or cry. Despite seeming cold, she cares about her friends and doesn't want to deal with any dangerous situations.
"We need to be careful. This could be a trap." (defensive)
"People aren't going to bend over backwards to spare your feelings here! We're fighting for survival! It's every girl for herself!" (annoyed, slightly angry)
Tomohiro Ohkawa (大川 智寛 Ōkawa Tomohiro?) is a student of Byakudan Senior High School's classroom 2-4, a character introduced in Corpse Party (PC), and a victim of Heavenly Host Elementary School.
He has a weak and meek personality, and is often teased as “the epitome of herbivorous men” by the girls at his school. Kai Shimada occasionally uses him to run errands. After he befriended Yoshiki Kishinuma, Tomohiro became more confident and gained hope that he and the others could find a way out of Heavenly Host, even going as far as to help protect a female student mere minutes upon meeting her, and allowing her to escape Yuuya Kizami at the cost of his own life.
He likes to play games on the PSP and DS along with long-time friend Ryosuke Katayama, with whom he has a very close bond. He’s also friends with Masato Fukuroi, Kensuke Kurosaki, and Yuuya (before he turns on them in Heavenly Host), and often hangs around the student council room, something which Masato sometimes doesn’t mind. Lately, he and Ryosuke have been hooked to playing dating simulation games. He cares deeply for Ryosuke, showing that he is a good, loyal and caring friend.
"That was... Shimada, right?" (not surprised)
Ryosuke Katayama (片山 良介 Katayama Ryōsuke?) is a student of Byakudan Senior High School's classroom 2-4, a character introduced in Corpse Party (PC), and a victim of Heavenly Host Elementary School.
He is Tomohiro Ohkawa's best friend, and they always go to school together.
His usual routine is to stop at a game and anime store on his way back from school. Lately, he’s been obsessed with dating simulation games.
He gets along well with both Kensuke Kurosaki and Masato Fukuroi, and will often be talking about games with Tomohiro in the student council room while Masato is silently working. Since he's been hanging around, Mitsuki Yamamoto started ordering him to do student council chores.
"I'll never understand that boy." (not surprised)
Tsukasa Mikuni (御国 司 Mikuni Tsukasa?) is a student of Kisaragi Academy Senior High School's classroom 3-7, and a character introduced in Corpse Party: Book of Shadows.
Tsukasa is shown to be friendly and optimistic. He is laid back and relatively straightforward in his words, which can be easily misinterpreted of him being ignorant or insensitive to other people's feelings. He is seen to enjoy being alone, though he will not refuse anyone who comes to him and have a conversation. Tsukasa is willing to risk himself to protect people he cares about if the situation calls him to do so.
"Here, I want you to have this. ... A pencil for guaranteed success. ... Use it on your test and you'll pass for sure. ... They told me I'd never pass the entrance exam for Kisaragi Academy but, well...here I am! And I owe it all to this pencil. ... It really jerked out a miracle."
"Umm, excuse me! ... You wouldn't... happen to be... Yui Shishido, would you?"
Aiko Niwa (丹羽 亜衣子 Niwa Aiko?) is a character introduced in the Corpse Party: Book of Shadows light novel.
She is a student of Paulownia Academy High School's classroom 3-5, an intelligence agent, and a survivor of Heavenly Host Elementary School.
She is the younger sister of Kuon Niwa.
Aiko is an intelligence agent with interest in spiritual items and money. As a successful young woman, Aiko gives off a façade of cheerfulness, but underneath she is greedy and not someone to trust with anything. She is willing to align with good or evil depending entirely on which side benefits her more. As described by the closest person she has to a friend, Aiko is a gossip interested in other people's private lives, using her spiritual powers to her advantage in order to manipulate other people and find out more about them.
With all of her customers, Aiko exchanges information, but they must give her money in return, or a supernatural item of equal value. She turns dark when people do not fulfill their promises to her and seeks vengeance on them in harsh, unethical ways. Despite this, she does have a genuine care for the few friends that she has and mourns for their deaths and she feels sympathy for Sachiko Shinozaki. She is the younger sister of Kuon Niwa and often shows her anger towards her sister's controlling nature.
One thing to note about her voice; it is suave and smooth. It sounds a bit flirtatious, but she tends to not show much emotion.
"Articles of the deceased, though, are another matter entirely. I simply must bring back a spirit item imbued with the soul of it's owner! A vessel through which he or she can speak..." (obsessive, excited but calm)
"Haruyuki... I'm sorry about Sayaka. But our priority right now is just to get out of here alive." (sad, crying a little)
Kou Kibiki (鬼碑忌 コウ Kibiki Kō?) is a paranormal novelist and a victim trapped in Heavenly Host Elementary School. He is the guardian and mentor of Naho Saenoki, a student who adores Kou.
Kou has a calm personality, but takes an interest in paranormal activities and gets excited about them. He cares about Naho, not wanting her to go to Heavenly Host Elementary School, as well as other people who might get trapped inside the cursed school, writing the instructions on how to get out of it.
"Hey, welcome back. Cold out there, isn't it?" (questioning, relaxed)
"We've done it! We've made our way into Heavenly Host! Here it is; Heavenly Host Elementary School! This is where the serial kidnapping and murders took place almost five decades ago! This school was said to be torn down, but here it is, we're inside it!" (exciting, narrating, on camera)
Shougo Taguchi (田久地 将五 Taguchi Shōgo?) is the cameraman for Kou Kibiki and a victim of Heavenly Host Elementary School. He is a character introduced in Corpse Party (PC).
He's devoted to working for Kou and also is easily freaked out. Aside from being a cameraman, Shougo is friendly and means well, but he is somewhat clumsy and has the tendency of becoming talkative, hence he is usually the target of Naho Saenoki's teasing. Despite claiming to be afraid of corpses during his period at Heavenly Host, Shougo added that he was fine with seeing them as long as he viewed them in his camera's viewfinder.
"Well, being a cameraman is kind of a strange thing that way. As long as I'm looking at them through a finder, it's all just business to me. But if I try to look at them with bare eyes, I freeze up." (as in them, he's referring to corpses.)
Azusa Takai (高井 梓紗 Takai Azusa?) is a character introduced in Corpse Party: Sweet Sachiko's Hysteric Birthday Bash. She is a student of St. Cruz Girls' High School's classroom 2-3, a member of Martuba's Tomb, and a victim of Heavenly Host Elementary School.
Unlike most victims of Heavenly Host Elementary School who did the Sachiko Ever After charm, Azusa ended up in Heavenly Host Elementary School after performing the Holy Shroud's Promise charm.
Azusa is a second year student at St. Cruz Girls' High School, a preparatory school for missionaries. She has divine powers which she can use to defeat evil spirits.
Azusa comes off as a mature, reliable person to others. She is calm and composed and is able to make decisions after assessing her surroundings. Her approachable personality makes her able to befriend anyone fairly quickly. She also likes to tease others and easily shrugs off Ran's advances.
Deep down, Azusa is a person who can’t live without others. She benefits by taking advantage of favors and trusts she gains from other people. Believing herself to be chosen by God, she will not hesitate to betray her “friends” if that means she achieves something greater and lives according to her standard. She also possesses a violent side and is willing to get rid of people who are in her way. She can’t stand being out-of-the-loop and always tries to be “in,” making herself to be known and likable. Despite her selfish behavior, she despairs if she is rejected or hated by other people.

Ran is a sophomore at St. Cruz Girls' High School. On the surface, Ran is an immature, but cheerful and sweet girl. She talks like a boy and shows off a childish personality to most people. She has a crush on her childhood friend, Azusa Takai, and calls herself "Azusa's wife." However, underneath these characteristics, her clinginess and infatuation to Azusa is shown at obsessive levels that rival even Seiko Shinohara and Sayaka Ooue, as Ran is willing to hurt and kill people who turn out to be love interests to Azusa. She hides this behind a façade of innocence, but it ultimately turns out to be her fatal flaw in Heavenly Host.
"Heya! I'm Ran Kobayashi! And this is my lovely wife!" (upbeat)

Souichiro Shimoda (下田 宗一郎 Shimoda Sōichirō?), or Takaomi Shimoda (下田 鷹臣 Shimoda Takaomi?), also known as the Gentleman Spirit (謎の紳士 Nazo no Shinshi?, lit. "Mysterious Gentleman"), is a ghost trapped inside Heavenly Host Elementary School. He resides in one of the stalls in the boys' lavatory on the third floor.
Shimoda is, for the most part, a gentleman whose courteous behavior doesn't betray his refined appearance. He is also somewhat eccentric, spouting phrases such as, "I love you!" in English. He claims to have been very protective of his subordinates in life, which carries over in the afterlife as he shows genuine concern for the unfortunate humans trapped inside Heavenly Host.
The only occasion in which he ever breaks this personality is whenever someone opens the door to his residential toilet stall without his permission, to which he furiously roars at the person to shut the door. However, he claims this is so because he is actually easily frightened by his surroundings, and only feels secure inside the stall. Upon meeting him in person, students Nana Ogasawara, Nari Amatoya, and Chihaya Yamase note how friendly he is despite him clearly being a ghost.
When Shimoda was alive, he and his family lived on the land where Heavenly Host Elementary School would eventually be built. He had a lover who died of an illness while waiting for him to return from a voyage overseas. He died of unknown causes at the age of 28. His ghost came to haunt Heavenly Host, residing inside the boys' lavatory on the third floor of the building and rebuking anyone who would open the door to his residential stall, eventually becoming the basis of one of the school's "seven mysteries." He remained trapped in the school after it was demolished and recreated by Sachiko Shinozaki, leaving him unable to pass on to the afterlife.
"SHUT THE GODDAMNED DOOR!!"

He is rude and, despite repeated sermons by the principal, doesn't seem to be improving. Under the pretence of acting strict, he treats and talks with prejudice when teaching the students. Although he's acting on his own educational philosophy based on forcing others to stay in line, it perpetuates a vicious circle which nobody accepts.
"If I had kids of my own, you'd better believe I wouldn't be half as lax with them as yours obviously are with you! The problem is, people are having kids when they're way too young. Don't you 'nothing' me, you little asshole! You've got a knife and an animal in your hands! ... Are you for real?! You realize that no one likes a smartass, right? You'd better cool that sass mouth, or you'll grow up to be even more of a good-for-nothing dirtbag than you already are.

Magari Mizuki (十三月 愛狩 Midzuki Magari?) is a character introduced in Corpse Party Cemetery0. She was a student who transferred to Paulownia Academy High School's classroom 2-1 and a survivor of Heavenly Host Elementary School.
Magari is a member of Martuba's Tomb along with Waldo Mizuki, her caretaker.
An elite member of a dangerous and shady cult, Magari has a polarizing personality. At the core she is vile, demanding, bratty, and not someone to be crossed. Notwithstanding her cute appearance, she has a superiority complex over a majority of humanity, a vulgar mouth, and an unstable temper that often surfaces when things don't go her way. She will threaten anyone who gets in the way of what she wants, insulting, manipulating, and even physically assaulting them. She uses her doll-like appearance and aura of charm to her advantage, right after she transferred, she got a lot of attention from her class.
In contempt of all this, Magari is capable of cooperating with her other people when she has to -but only if it benefits her in some way. In addition, she is capable of showing genuine respect and honour to other people when she knows they deserve it. For instance, her caretaker, Kuon Niwa and Ayumi Shinozaki.
"Shut up, or I'll fucking kill you. You fucking peasants should just let yourselves be slaves to fate like everyone else. It's a hell of a lot easier."
"Looks like you managed to gain control over the Book of Shadows after all. I underestimated you, Ayumi Shinozaki. You even installed an escalator from Kisaragi Academy right up to the Nirvana. Not too shabby!"
"...There is one more thing you should probably know, though. The Nirvana's encroachment upon and direct connection to this world... really isn't your fault at all. ... Now is the time to strike. Go on in there and fuck him up!"
Misuto Kiriya (桐谷 御簾徒 Kiriya Misuto?) is the last surviving member of the Yagoura Society, and the main antagonist of Corpse Party: Blood Drive, a playable character and a victim of Heavenly Host Elementary School.
From his first encounter, Misuto presents himself as insensitive, foul-mouthed and dangerously snarky. He has a very dismissive attitude and doesn't show interest in things that don't personally affect him or his goals. He has little regard for personal boundaries and is not above laughing in people's faces. Additionally, Misuto thinks very highly of himself, and because of this often ignores conventional politeness and couldn't care less to acknowledge honorifics when speaking to others. Because of his disdain for humanity, he sees the average person as beneath him and frequently compares them to "peasants." Along with his harsh nature, he is also extremely talented at making the most of the little he has, often relying only on his powers and wits to accomplish his goals, despite having little in terms of support or general resources.
While normally presenting himself as calm and laid-back, when he is opposed in any way he lashes out in brief fits of rage which occasionally end in violence, alluding to his truer emotions. Beneath the surface, Misuto hates humanity to its core and wants nothing more than to wipe all of it out. It's because of this that he harbors no guilt or remorse when harming, or even killing innocents, often reveling in sadistic glee at the deaths of his victims. Misuto can also display the proper emotions (pity, sympathy, kindness, etc.) to elicit trust in others, allowing him to gain their weaknesses by pretending to support them, then using those weaknesses against them.
However, in defiance of his immoral actions and twisted personality, Misuto is not incapable of truly expressing emotions like love and compassion. He formed a close, possibly loving relationship with Hinoe Shinozaki, valuing her above even himself. His interactions with her are the only instances where he shows any genuine kindness, and it's the deaths of her and his family that pushed him over the edge in the first place, driving him down a road of vengeance that he would refuse to stray from, and would ultimately lead to his death.
"...I'm not finished yet. This world needs to be... corrected. And it's up to me to show those peasants, those pigs, just what their sins have begotten!"
"... Shut the fuck up, titless! Who you callin' a pervert when you got the body of a grade schooler?! Ain't nobody gonna wanna see a washboard like that!"
"As for why I'm here, it's to remind you. Remind you of who you are, and what you have to do. Your bloodline carries with it a certain... responsibility, after all."
Kuon Niwa (丹羽 玖遠 Niwa Kuon?) is a character introduced in Corpse Party: Blood Drive.
Kuon is an assistant English homeroom teacher of Kisaragi Academy Senior High School's classroom 2-9, the CEO of Perfect Life Promotions Co.,Inc. and a victim of Heavenly Host Elementary School.
She is the older sister of Aiko Niwa.
Kuon gives off the air of a sunny, doting personality, similar to Yui Shishido as the five original Heavenly Host survivors have acknowledged on more than one occasion. As a teacher's assistant, she pushes her students to try their hardest and only wants for them to succeed, making her popular among the students. This is demonstrated by her giving Satoshi Mochida tutoring, despite it being in a subject that she doesn't teach, and hounding Yoshiki Kishinuma to make sure he completes his make-up work.
Despite coming from a place of love, Kuon can be very controlling. Her overly-developed brain has given her the ability to see the most effective action to completing a task, leading her not letting others take the leadership role. But because of her exceedingly high intelligence, Kuon is very logic-oriented and often fails to factor in how her actions might impact those around her. She doesn't understand the emotion behind the reactions she receives, such as Aiko's anger towards her controlling nature, or Satoshi's unease towards her love confession.
"...Heh, Actually, I was pondering. Thinking about how nice it would be if time just...stopped."
"Satoshi, what is it that you like to eat most?"
"Ai, I think I'm in love with someone!"
