Intro:
Hello everybody, this is the casting call for episode 3 of the analog horror series that I'm working on alongside 3 more friends called Contraphobia Archives, which has got 2 released episodes thus far! So be sure to check Contraphobia Archives: Advert and Contraphobia Archives: Employee Guide to gain some more closure on what this project and its story are about. I've done 2 casting calls for each of the previous episodes as the story is still being worked on, part by part with more characters and ideas to be introduced later down the line. This project is also my first time working with people online and it has been quite a fun experience so far.
What is the project about?
The "Contraphobia Archives" is an analog horror series on Youtube, pretty much inspired by the likes of Mandela Catalogue, The Walten Files, Local 58, etc. With no spoilers, the series is about a person called Miguel who has gathered many old-school videotapes from the 1960s and 1970s about a "social experiment" run by an establishment in the town of Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania. It's called " The Contraphobia Program" which apparently, helps many patients erase their phobias and fears. The program has been tied to many rumors about abductions, murder, and people going missing. And it's for the viewers and Miguel to solve the mystery that lies behind these found tapes.
Auditions and Deadline:
I'm looking for some new voice actors to help out with the production of this episode. But this time we're aiming for a long-term voice actor as this episode marks another appearance of the series' antagonist, Colter Owens alongside some new characters too. The deadline for this casting call is March 20th, 2022 with a possibility of an extension. Those who have been cast for their respective roles will get contact from me, by Discord (zphrox#6194). We're also flexible with the deadline for when the lines should be submitted from said voice actors, as it depends on when the script will be finished.
