Pokemon Animation (Contestshipping)
Project Overview
I'm currently in the process of creating animations for a Pokemon trailer that will feature May and Drew from the Pokemon anime. The trailer is just a one-off so it won't likely continue into a series or anything, but just be a way to continue a little bit of where their stories left off. The full trailer will be around 1-2 minutes. I'll need a few lines to be delivered, not lip-synced but just to go along with the visuals. I'll need VAs to have good mics with a lot of that classic Pokemon pep and energy! I can't wait to see what everyone can do and thank you for auditioning!

May has a bright and curious personality. She can sound typically anime girl, but should come with more whimsical sound that most of the Pokemon characters have. I've attached a sample reel of what her original VA sounds like, but feel free to do your own interpretation of her as well. I would prefer her to sound similar to how she does in the original anime though. Please read each line 2-3 times with different takes

*excited and curious* "The next chapter of ‘May’s Expedition’ has begun! Wow! What kind of Pokemon are you?”
*angry/arguing* “It’s called exploring!”
*sentimental tone* “This whole journey has felt so different than last time. Maybe it’s because I’ve been experiencing it with you?”
Drew is a cocky and talented Pokemon coordinator. He is more experienced than May and comes across as very confident and competent. While he sees May as his rival now, for a while he didn't see her as a true equal in skill. Though he acknowledges her skill now, he still maintains a playful banter with her when they talk, continuing his snarky and cocky streak. I've attached a file of what his original VA sounded like and I would prefer to have it match as close as possible, but please feel free to give it your own interpretation as well. Please read each line 2-3 times with different takes.

*casual/snarky* “In the flesh. I see you’re taking your time wandering around as usual.”
*mid-battle, should be shouting a bit* “I’ll be the one winning that ribbon today, May.”
*sentimental tone* “We’ve still got plenty of time left together though. Who knows what’s gonna happen next?”
The Announcer has a lot of energy and is in charge of getting the crowd excited. She should have a lot of pep and sound confident and articulate clearly. I've attached her original VA for reference, but she can sound different, this is just a good measure of the level of excitement that should be matched in your own take. Please read each line 2-3 times with different takes.
