Project Overview
This casting call is characters in different series' comic dubs that we got permission to do from the artists themselves! This casting call will stay up and will have new characters added once we get permission to do more comics that have more characters we don't have. There isn't a set deadline for this as we will be casting when we find a voice that fits what we want for the character! Casting for comics include these series: My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer, and Hazbin Hotel (all Hazbin comics will be SFW!)
About the Director-
Hi! My name is Rae! I am 20 years old and a writer as well as a voice actor/voice director. I am a big fan of voice acting and have been doing it since I was 12! I really am excited to dub over all of these comics that we got permission to do!
Some rules/guidelines to note before auditioning-
-I will be casting as soon as I have found a voice that fits what I want for the character!
-Having knowledge of the manga, show, or game is preferred, but not required.
-Please be 16+! Some of these comics have some scenes not recommended for people under that age!
-Have a decent sounding mic, no background noise/a quiet recording space. The mic doesn't need to be professional... just one that doesn't echo/create lots of background noise.
-Please do at least 2 takes per line with different delivery styles!
-Please be easy, respectful, and professional to work with.
-Please leave your discord in the comments of your audition! Our main point of communication will be on a discord server, so it is required to have a discord account!
-Last but not least, have fun!

A prideful and ambitious man, driven by his goal to surpass the No. 1 Hero, All Might. This obsessive drive to surpass All Might in strength and power has followed Enji throughout his entire life, and repeated failure has plagued him since his youth. Dedicated to his studies and hero work, Enji strived to become the absolute strongest Pro Hero in the country. However, the figure of All Might proved itself too much of an insurmountable obstacle for him or anyone else to overcome, leaving Enji in a growing state of despair as he became increasingly aware that closing the gap between him and the Symbol of Peace was futile. As a result, Enji turned into a cold, callous person who didn't care for anything but his impossible dream. Enji has always been aware of his limitations, but due to his stubbornness, he never once considered relinquishing his wish, wanting to accomplish it at any cost and even passing on his aspirations to another person if necessary.
Enji would become a cold, even abusive father and husband, with his actions negatively affecting all members of the family he formed. Shoto, his youngest child, was considered his masterpiece, a tool with all the correct elements to exceed All Might's ability and nothing else. As a result, Enji focused all his hopes on Shoto, forcing him through incredibly harsh training from a young age and showing no concern for his son's desires. The rest of his children were ignored and perceived as "failures" that weren't allowed to interact with their younger brother.

(Proud) So you've finally accepted it! Yes! Excellent!! It all starts now for you! With my blood pumping through your veins, you will surpass me...you will fulfill my ambitions!!
(Stoic, serious) I gave Shoto everything. By age 20, I'd already climbed to the #2 position. It was because I made that climb that I understood... unless I reached the summit, it was all for nothing.
(Shouting, angry) PLUS ULTRA; PROMINENCE BURN!
Inosuke is short-tempered, confrontational, abrasive and proud. He always likes to think he is the strongest fighter in a situation, constantly challenging most people he comes across and wanting others to respect and praise him for his skill. This often leads him into unnecessary danger, since he tends to overestimate his abilities in comparison to who he's fighting and refuses to accept when he's been defeated. This constant wanting to be the best can also cause Inosuke to be very provocative, as he often tries to goad others, most prominently Tanjiro Kamado, into fighting him, although in the case of the latter he usually fails due to Tanjiro's obliviously kind nature. Inosuke possesses a rather vengeful side to his personality, especially when the people he cares about get harmed. Due to him having been raised by boars, Inosuke has also been shown to possess little understanding of normal human interaction, at least at the time of his debut, as he seems to frequently assume that people who approach him want to attack him and doesn't appear to understand the kindness others show him. He can't read or write, and struggles to say peoples names right. He can be very rude, without the intention, and treating everyone as an enemy at first.
However, as the story goes on, Inosuke is influenced more and more by Tanjiro's ways and becomes more accustomed to affection and generosity, learning to also acknowledge the strength of people besides himself and develop feelings of friendship towards him and Zenitsu Agatsuma, although he does still retain his proud nature and constant want for praise. He also begins to think more strategically when engaging in combat, using smarter tactics he has picked up from more experienced Demon Slayers and not just rushing into fights head-on without thinking.

Vox is an egotistical, charismatic, and manipulative showman of an Overlord who craves attention. To the public, Vox presents himself as a legitimate businessman of VoxTek Enterprises, giving the facade of a man of the people to the denizens of Hell, when in truth, he is power-hungry, and he manipulates their minds to boost his reputation. He is very intelligent and technology-savvy, and he is always keeping up with the latest trends and technology. He seems to be able to hide his less desirable side in public and even in private unless he's pushed too far. Despite his egocentric nature, Vox is loyal to the interests of his fellow Overlords and seeks to maintain their collective image of power. As the most level-headed member, Vox often acts as the de facto leader of the Vees. Claiming the Vees' brand to be "perfection", he is often frustrated or outright angered if someone can jeopardize it.
Another element that earns his ire is his rival, Alastor, whom he utterly despises and might be intimidated by as he sees Alastor as a threat to his plans. However, despite his immense hatred for Alastor, Vox doesn't let it override his more pragmatic side. He fully knows Alastor's power and doesn't risk underestimating him. He takes pleasure and joy out of seeing people fight and trying to kill each other, which causes him to get verbally explicit and overly honest.

(Acting kind) My dear people, we at VoxTech Enterprises have always been at the forefront of innovation. And now, with this new oncoming threat, we are shifting our focus to your protection.
(Upset) Alastor... came back, and he is with Lucifer's DAUGHTER...and that wasn't the first FUCKING THING YOU TOLD ME?!
(Excited) Oh, looks like your little hotel didn't work out so well. Oh, Alastor. I cannot wait to watch you get FUCKED!
THIS CHARACTER SHOULD BE AUDITIONED BY SOMEONE 18+ ONLY BECAUSE OF HOW ANGEL DUST ACTS!
Angel is brash and sarcastic, with a quick, sharp wit. He will often use these traits to deflect criticism or insults, and side-step responsibility. He will switch between playful and destructive as he pleases, and his humor tends to be crude and crass, with an emphasis on dirty jokes and innuendos, which he feels is expected of him and actively plays into. He is stylish and performs an excessive amount of confidence with his public persona, being wildly flirtatious and interested in receiving positive attention for his looks and the profile he has made for himself in Hell.
He also makes a show of looking down others, declaring the other denizens of Hell to be mostly "ugly freaks". As a result, Angel can often appear flippant and callous. In reality he is preemptively defensive and hides much of his true, more sensitive and insecure, self for his own protection, not expecting those around him to show him kindness. Angel does have friends, and while he cares about them and will sometimes show signs of wanting to reach out, he keeps many walls up between himself and others, being very protective of his true feelings and avoiding holding overly emotional relationships.
The ongoing controlling and abusive situation he is in with his boss, Valentino, puts him under a great deal of stress at his work, and he is implied to be somewhat traumatized as a result. When being confronted by Valentino, Angel becomes scared and nervous around him due to the abuse he inflicts.

(Serious) Yeah, you do, in the studio, and you can do anything you want to me there, just like our deal says. But out here, I get to do what I want. So once again, fuck off!
Despite his status as the ruler of all of Hell, Lucifer possesses a grandiose and dramatic nature, acting very over-the-top in most situations. He switches between being silly and theatrical and awkward and melancholic. Like Charlie, Lucifer is ambitious in his beliefs. According to the "The Story of Hell" book Charlie reads in "Overture", Lucifer was an idealistic dreamer whose accidental creation of Hell and the subsequent banishment of it caused him to give up his dreams. After he and Lilith separated, Lucifer went into isolation and fell into depression. He coped by crafting and hoarding tons of rubber ducks, spending years in his home. This obsession also causes him to become estranged from his daughter, to the point where he barely calls her at all and thinks she does not want to talk to him.
Lucifer is oftentimes careless and doesn't think about what he says, even appearing clueless at times. However, he is not afraid to fight or get violent. As a father, he falls short of expectations. Although he loves Charlie dearly, he seems to be preoccupied with his own problems. He seldom calls her, and when he does, it's usually because he's bored or needs something. Despite his love for Charlie, he doesn't communicate with her and hasn't built up a relationship with her, though it was shown that Lucifer was much closer to Charlie in her childhood, only becoming more distant in Charlie’s adulthood.
While he is the King of Hell, Lucifer hardly rules over his subjects and leaves them to their own devices. As a result, his name (and, by extension, Charlie) carries little weight. Lucifer dislikes the Sinners of Hell and describes them as "violent, destructive psychopaths, hellbent on causing as much pain and destruction as possible". According to him, they are all "the worst" he does not believe they can be redeemed and he cares little for what happens to them. Although he understands his daughter's interest in rehabilitating Sinners, Lucifer is cynical about the idea of trying to save any of them, as he attempted to redeem sinners in the past, stating that Charlie doesn't know when he tried this all before, and that his dreams were too hard to defend. Lucifer is fiercely protective of Charlie. Later, when Alastor began rubbing in his failings to be a proper, supportive father to Charlie and her dreams and implying he had taken Lucifer's place as Charlie's father figure, Lucifer displayed jealousy toward Alastor, whom he began to see as a rival for Charlie's affection and become insecure about his father-daughter bond with her.

(Nervous, panicking) Daughter? Daughter! Daughter calling?! OH! Uhm uh, uh hello, Charlie. He-ey, hey, hey Char-Char. No, no! That's not good. Oh, this is the first time she's called you. Yes, this has to be perfect.
(Somewhat singing) My daughter wants to see me! Take that, depression!
(Serious) Oh, I'm the only one that matters. See, you messed with my daughter, and now... I am going to FUCK you!
Husk is a grumpy, lazy, and somewhat apathetic old sinner whose interests in Hell now lie mostly in gambling, parlor tricks, and prolific drinking. He can be gruff, standoffish and sarcastic, with a propensity to swear. Despite this, he is also surprisingly patient and able to take a lot of outlandish events in his stride, electing to just drink his problems away later. He is very observant, having the ability to read people and understand their problems well (even when they don't themselves), which makes him quick to notice when someone isn't being genuine with him, something he doesn't enjoy. He values authenticity and seems to understand himself and his own issues well too, openly accepting that his reliance on alcohol and gambling hasn't helped him feel better.
He is surprisingly empathetic and willing to give a non-judgmental listening ear to those who need it, he shows a sweeter and more protective side to those he forms a more substantial connection to.
Still a "husk" of his former self, he claims to have "lost the ability to love" long ago, though whether literally or metaphorically is yet unclear. What is clear was the fact that he lost his status as an Overlord after making a deal with Alastor, in attempt to save his power after gambling all the souls he had own.

I was an Overlord once, y'know? Yeah. And, uh, it was nice to have that power. But, when you're dealing with souls, while also being a gambler, the stakes are pretty high.
(Annoyed) Why do you think I'm here? You actually think I'd be cleaning bottles and listening to you fucks bitch and moan all the time if he wasn't forcing me?
How come every time Charlie talks to Heaven, WE get in deeper and deeper shit?
Adam appeared very egotistical and unsympathetic. As the leader of his Exorcist army, he took his stance as the Exorcists' head figure very seriously, sending antagonistic threats towards demons and anyone for standing in their way or whoever disobeyed his command. He also displayed traits of extreme narcissism and chauvinism, believing himself the perfect man due to being the first and claiming he had never made a mistake in his life, since he was the first man to be born on Earth, and he claimed that all the male bloodline came from him. He seemed to have a good relationship with Lute, whom he seemed to have in very high esteem, even though he was her superior. Despite his obliviousness, Adam did show moments of common sense and self-awareness. He also knew when to slow down on his egoism.
Adam was also quite cruel and sadistic, openly admitting in front of Charlie that he enjoyed killing demons, calling it entertainment, and tended to announce how many killed in the Extermination. He also dismissed Charlie's project of redemption not because he didn't believe in sinners being redeemed, because if she succeeded with that project he wouldn't be able to continue killing demons.
Despite his sadism and cruelty, Adam was capable of recognizing and praising the abilities of others.

Vaggie is a pragmatic and cautious angel who devotes a great deal of her time attempting to support Charlie with her vision for the hotel, as well as guiding her away from as much trouble or humiliation as possible. She is tough, but she has a heart of gold. Loyal and kind to those she cares for, but short on patience and trust, Vaggie tends to be very reactive, often taking an immediate defensive stance (with an offense at the ready) when it comes to dealing with potential threats towards either herself or Charlie. While it remains unclear whether Vaggie fully buys into Charlie's concept for redemption, she passionately defends it from more skeptical sinners and fully supports her idea, trying to do everything she can to help Charlie. She appears to be fairly prudent in business, trying her hardest to fill her designated role as the hotel's manager, even with an initial lack of resources, a very run-down property, and a lack of qualified staff.
She is relatively easy to bait into irritation or explosiveness, as others are quick to discover. Angel Dust perceives Vaggie to have a distrust towards men in particular. Husk believes Vaggie acts mean to everyone else around her because deep down she loathes herself and that act is a way to protect herself.
