Project Overview

"Comic Conn In Another Dimension" is an absurdist comedy-horror short film in which Comedy Connor (Comic Conn for short), a nervous stand-up comedian in a paper cutout world, is suddenly transported mid-act to another dimension. He must make the otherworldly audience laugh, lest he be sent to the shredder.

This is an animated thesis film! Set to be finished in March 2026. Voice talent must have access to a soundproof recording space and quality mic/pop filter.

Comedy Connor (he/him), or Comic Conn for short, is a nervous stand-up comedian in a paper cutout world. He is suddenly transported mid-act to another dimension in which he must make the audience laugh, or else he's sent to the shredder.


This is a lead character in an absurdist comedy/horror animated short film. Some lines are slightly long, as most of the film is monologue interrupted by audience cheering. Be prepared to make weird mouth sounds! Beat boxers are encouraged to apply because y'all are crazy.
