Codename: Cormorant Episode 0 and 1
Project Overview
Codename: Cormorant is an audio drama that follows a team of Allied operatives as they fight against the anomalous, supernatural, and downright bizarre weapons being fielded by the Axis powers.
This casting call is for main characters and side characters for episode 0 and 1 of the show. These episodes will be used as proof of concept for a Kickstarter to better pay voice talent and increase the size of the cast for each episode.
Note: Prices are a flat amount, not an hourly rate, since I'm financing out of pocket.

Josephine has a very mild Southern accent.
Because she's African-American, I would prefer she be played by an African-American voice talent. While the podcast has its over-the-top moments, I want the dialogue to be more grounded. Think a Joss Whedon movie or TV show.
Josephine used to be a singer and actress, but now she's a military leader. She can be glamorous and playful or she can be commanding. She also speaks French in later episodes, so someone who can speak or fake their way through some French 101 lines (e.g. "hello" "how are you?") would be good.
Together, we are Codename: Cormoant. And we're coming for you.
No one gets left behind, just get it fixed.
Any respect I get is hard-earned, and I'm not going to let some heartbroken Nazi mess with that.

Sergeant Ramos has a mostly neutral accent with a hint of Californian and a slighly gruff voice.
Sergeant Ramos is Filipino-American and I would prefer he be played by a Filipino-American. In later episodes he will speak some basic Tagalog (e.g. "Hello" "How are you?"), so voice talent needs to be able to do so. While the podcast has its over-the-top moments, I want the dialogue to be more grounded. Think a Joss Whedon movie or TV show.
Sergeant Ramos has been in the army for 15 years but is friendly and can be a jokester.
