Cliffside Repository || additional VA casting
Project Overview
This is a casting call for voices for more of my characters featured in the story I'm working on. I am currently working on making a series of animated shorts and mini comics featuring my OCS as they go about their lives, get into less-than-ideal situations, and occasionally attempt to work through deep-rooted personal issues they have. If this project goes well I will be holding casting calls for more of the characters in this story in the future :)
STORY
Cliffside Repository a library in a small pocket dimension created by the sorceress Zarabeth, so she can carry out her ploy to rid humans of their evil tendencies in peace. Despite her exceptional magical prowess, she was significantly weakened after creating her own little world, so she enlisted the help of a small group of people from across different dimensions, who she calls her Apprentices, to help aide her studies. The Apprentices are the main focus of this story, following their journeys as they attempt to fix their broken pieces and their lives slowly descent into madness...
RULES FOR AUDITIONING
• You must be 14+ to audition
• This project contains themes about mental health issues such as anxiety, self-depreciation and depression, and childhood trauma (mostly involving death and neglect). If you're not comfortable with any of that please do not audition.
• These characters are re-occuring members of the story, so please only audition if you're willing and able to make a long-term commitment to this project.
•You don't need to have a professional setup but please have as little background noise as possible in your takes.

The golden retriever of the Apprentices, Nazuna is a very friendly and enthusiastic person who tries to get along with everybody and 'adopt' all the introverts that cross her path. Despite her less than perfect childhood, she is very optimistic and tries to believe everything will get better for her eventually. In the meantime, she'll just repress her negative emotions and make sure everyone gets along.

(excited) Hi!! I'm Nazuna, nice to meet you! We're going to be good friends, I can already tell.
(slightly freaked out) Okay, okay, why don't we all just stop arguing, this isn't going anywhere -
(laughs uneasily) Whaaatt? Nothing's bothering me! Why would you think that?
Franklin is one of the few actually responsible adults at the Repository, tasked with the very important job of being Zarabeth's personal hitman. He doesn't care much for his job, but keeps his mouth shut about it because there's really nothing he can do since he's contractually bound. Despite what his occupation may suggest, he has quite a charming and friendly personality, likes kids, and ended up taking in an orphaned imp child, Pepper, a couple years ago.

Pepper is Franklin's adopted daughter and the resident problem child of the Repository. She's very enthusiastic and energetic, and tries to be friends with everybody she meets, despite the discrimination she sometimes faces for being an imp. When she's not exploring (and oftentimes getting into hazardous situations as well) with her best friend, Azio, she likes to hang out with the older kids and climb things.

(annoyed) hmph. You're no fun...
Born at the Repository, Solene had a very isolated childhood, only being able to interact with the few others that lived there as well until her mid-teen years. Despite the lack of experience with the world she has compared to the other Apprentices, she doesn't let that hold her back from speaking her mind and having an ambitious mindset. Though she acts aloof and overly opinionated a lot of the time, she does care a lot about her friends and would do anything to protect them.

Voice: Her voice has a medium tone, and she often has a bit of a snarky and/or bored tone when she isn't experiencing strong emotions.

(disbelief) Ha! Are you being serious right now? There's no way she'd actually do that - huh?! (Beat of silence) ...damn, I didn't think she had it in her.
(angry) What?! That's my job!
