Children of Destiny: Cataclysm - Season 1
Project Overview
Children of Destiny: Cataclysm is an audio drama series adapted from a Dungeons and Dragons campaign I DM’d several years ago now.
Taking place in the re:INVENT Universe, this story is told on an alternate Earth and follows the story of our heroes and their allies trying to uncover the secrets of Gemstone Industries and their sinister plans for Dustria City.
This world takes a page from comic book stories, mixing together science fiction and fantasy elements in ways that make the story embrace the tropes and techniques of both genres.
Season 1 contains six episodes, the first of which has already been completed. This project will be paid, with the amount offered for each character listed with their specs. Pay rates were based on the Indie Rate Guide on voiceactingclub.com.

[Introducing himself to a timid witness.] Good evening, I’m Detective Maurice Williams with the Superpowered Investigations Unit. I have a few questions about your encounter with the Blood Oath Militia at Dock 17 earlier tonight.
[Giving direction mid-battle. Fearsome Flames is a special move.] You guys take care of the wire, I’ll help Thomas turn up the heat. Fearsome Flames!
[Cutting to the chase with a stubborn witness.] Let me pose a theory then, just off of some observations. According to this report, you first attacked our officers down at the docks before turning on the Blood Oath Militia. Nobody saw you take any lives, but you carry a handgun and a short sword. It doesn’t take a detective to know that you’re a mercenary.

[Dismissing a question from a witness.] That’s on a need-to-know basis. I’ll refrain from using that without express permission from here on out. Come with me.
[Giving instructions via telepathy to a group.] Nothing to be done then. You guys need to make it through that mess to get down to the ground floor so we can leave.
[Briefing a group on the plan for the operation.] The museum has two floors above ground, each with three wings for unique exhibits. The plan is a standard sweep of each floor before moving on to the next. There will be three teams of two inside the building to check each wing simultaneously.

[Shutting down questions from his officers.] This is not up for discussion, we’re wasting what little time we have to act. Leave my office now. I’ll inform you of the plan when we have one. Am I understood?

[Providing a blunt recommendation.] Your best option is to get out of the city. You have no obligation to this mess, that’s why Captain Anais tasked me with retrieving you.
