Chess Game Commentator / VO (PAID)
Project Overview
Hello all, my name is Levy. I run the Gotham Chess Channel on YouTube that over the years has garnered almost 300,000 subscribers. I am looking to prepare a special video for April fools day (yes I am planning quite far in advance haha). My voice is in every single one of my videos and this April fools I plan on changing that, just to throw a fun curve ball at my viewers. I simply need one actor to play the role of a chess game caster, a script will be provided of course, and you need no previous knowledge of the game of chess. You simply need to be able to put great emotion into what you are saying, even if you personally are not interested by chess. I will provide as much help as you need with anything at all. The video pictured here is an example of a video that I created a few weeks ago that got over 1,000,000 views, no need to watch it, simply an example.
Payment: On average every 10,000 views on a video is $100 dollars with the sponsorships that I have. You will get 1/3 of the revenue from the video, with a cap at $1000.
Deadline: Apply for as long as you want, as soon is someone is perfect for the role, the project will be closed. I have no expectations for how long this will take.

Hi there everyone, you all have been doing amazing work and are all very talented! Due to the great number of people who auditioned, we are going to closing auditions as early as tomorrow, casting will happen that same day. :)
Voice Type: Anything! You can sound however you want, it is really the acting that counts.
Try not to overact though, this should truly be realistic and not cartoonish.
You should seem as if you are not watching this game live, but remembering it and analyzing it later.
(In awe) He... has sacrificed both of his knights, made a rook for knight trade, and sacrificed his queen for an unprecedented forced checkmate in four moves. I have never, NEVER, seen the game of chess played with such dramatic grace.
I honestly started to feel bad for the kid ya know? He's playing in front of 13,000 people and he sacrifices his knight and gives black an open file for deadly counterplay with the rook and queen.
Watching this game back and forth over and over again, watching the mastery with which he directs his pieces in an elaborate symphony around the board... it is no longer a game, it is art.
