Hello everyone, my name is Dreams! I'm so happy that you're interested in this project! This story has been in the works for a long time so to say I’m very excited to introduce it!

Synopsis
Channeler Chronicles is an action comedy that takes place in a fantasy world filled with mythical creatures, some nice and others not so nice. In this beautiful yet chaotic world, guilds play a vital role in tackling the many, many problems that arise. Enter the Channelers, extraordinary individuals who harness unique abilities through their guild training. They fearlessly take on awe-inspiring adventures and challenging missions that leave ordinary folks in awe. Our story revolves around four new channelers, each with their own quirks and charms, as they embark on an epic journey that will test their mettle. These heroes might start off as wide-eyed novices, stumbling their way through the chaos, but rest assured, they'll find their stride with the guidance of mentors and the unwavering support of one another.

Character Overview
Meet Ceren! After getting thrown out of a party and ending up in a life-or-death situation involving a monster, he discovers that he has lightning powers. Surprisingly since he never learned an ability like this…
Ceren is a forward-thinking person with a dry sense of humor. As much as he likes hanging out with his friends, he's not a fan of getting dragged into their antics, particularly Rey's antics. He is a bit high-strung and is first to want to leave or panic when things go south but that won’t stop him from making an overly sarcastic remark about the situation. If it weren’t for his sudden appearing powers, he would have wanted to become an archaeologist like his uncle, a historian, or something academic since this dude is a nerd.
Voice: Dry sense of humor and maybe a slight hint of nerdy. Can be nonchalant.
Line 0 Context: Rey told Ceren that he should join a guild with him. As much as Ceren does want to travel around the world, he wants to not die even more.
Line 1 Context: While walking to another city, Rey and Estelle start using their abilities. Ceren warns that they were going to get tired and start complaining. Now that they are in a desert Rey and Estelle got tired and started complaining.
Line 2 Context: After the team works together to knock out a bandit, Rey tries to hide the bandit in a large pot but the bandit’s legs are sticking out the top. Rey says “There, that should do it!”

Character Overview
Meet Rey! After “borrowing” his older brother’s training notes, Rey taught himself a teleportation ability. The start of his adventures begins with leaving his hometown with his friends to travel to a guild to continue training his new powers.
Rey is a light-hearted, snarky, outgoing person who always wanted adventure. Before we could travel around the world, he settled for exploring the forests and caves outside the city. Rey swears up and down that “he’ll be careful” but according to everyone else, he is pretty reckless and mischievous. He is often the one getting into trouble or getting others into trouble, but it’s not intentional. Well, most of the time that this. Rey does mean well. He cares for friends and tries to get them to leave their comfort zone in order to grow and experience new things. Whether or not leaving their comfort zone is a good thing is to be debated.
Voice: Lighthearted and fun-having.
Line 0 Context: Rey is trying to convince his bookworm friend Ceren that he is rejecting the coolest job ever, being an adventurer in a guild! Rey knows his friend wants to travel and he just needs a little nudge.
Line 1 Context: After Estelle gets pickpocketed in a new city. Rey offers to use his teleportation ability to find them, knowing full well that's against the rules for him to use it (let alone have it) without permission. But who's going to see it?
Line 2 Context: In a dangerous situation where Ceren is the only one who can use their ability, Rey gives a much-needed pep talk to encourage his friend.

Character Overview
Meet Estelle! Although she is the daughter of a Duke, Estelle’s late mother was an adventurer who taught her a sun-powered ability in secret. She kept to her duties, organizing ceremonies to delivering speeches, until she overheard plans for an arranged marriage. With that being the final straw, decides to give the guild life a try and heads off with her friends.
On the outside, Estelle is a very well-mannered and posed person. But when away from the responsibilities and expectations of her court, you will see that she is rather playful. She enjoys teasing her friends and pulling pranks on them. After running away from home, Estelle’s cheerful and carefree sides start to show more and more. Despite her sarcasm and sass, Estelle genuinely cares about others and often goes out of her way to help people.
Voice: Cheerful and sometimes sassy. Somewhat elaborate vocabulary from her nobility background.
Line 0 Context: After discovering that Rey’s brother (Renan) is attending a ball her family is hosting, Estelle wants to sneak Rey into the dance so the brothers can see each other. She is giving him a quick ballroom etiquette lesson.
Line 1 Context: After finishing a mountain of paperwork, the mansion staff assures Estelle that she should not worry. They will make sure her next mountain of assignments will be delivered to her within the hour. Only the best service for our Lady Estelle!
Line 2 Context: After meeting Ksaana who helped their group escape a dangerous situation, Estelle asks if she would help to join their team. The more the merrier.

Character Overview
Meet Ksaana! After convincing Ace to teach her, Ksaana learns a fire-based ability, only to find out she can’t use it fully. After finding a sword she can channel her power through and meeting Ceren, Rey, and Estelle, she joins their team and travels to the guild with them.
Ksaana has a passionate and fiery personality. She is quite adventurous so her thrill-seeking tendencies seem to get her into dangerous situations. She is very determined and competitive but despite her boldness in daring situations, deep down she is very timid. She can get really shy and is easily flustered in certain social situations or hearing personal compliments. Her wit serves as a defense mechanism and often has clever comebacks.
Voice: Shy at times but mostly slightly energetic.
Line 0 Context: Ceren, Rey, and Estelle ask Ksaana to come with him to join the guild. After getting thanked for helping them and receiving some compliments, Ksaana is feeling a bit bashful about it all… but these new friends are pretty persistent, how can you refuse?
Line 1 Context: After a pretty tear-jerking goodbye, Ksaana leaves with the others. This girl is more than ready to leave her desert town and see the world. To say she is excited is an understatement!
Line 2 Context: Estelle and Ksaana are talking to each other. After a little heart-to-heart conversation, the two get motivated to give this training their all!

Character Overview
Meet Renan! He’s a B-ranked, almost A-ranked member of his guild. He has the ability to make teleportation portals and travels with his team and mentor (Miest) to complete dangerous quests. He is Rey’s older brother and the two of them grew up saying that they would both become adventurers one day. Much like his brother, Renan is very adventurous. Renan is daring but he also has a diligent and disciplined nature.
Voice: No preference.
Line 0 Context: Renan and Miest finish a mission where the monster they were tracking almost attacked a town. Miest says if the monster did make it to the town and the aura guard showed up, they would probably get blamed for the damage and then reported to their guild master. Wouldn’t want to damage the guild’s reputation with the Aura Guard. Guild Master Mack wouldn’t be too happy with that… or the bill for repairs.
Line 1 Context: After confronting his little brother Rey about how his training notes are missing, Rey says he has no idea what he’s talking about but Renan isn’t buying it.
Line 2 Context: Are scolding Rey for “borrowing” his training notes, Renan is praising Rey and Ceren for being able to teach themselves anything, most people would need a trainer. Contradictory but the proud big brother instincts are kicking in.

Character Overview
Meet Ace! A former guild member who now works as a blacksmith. When asked why he left his guild, he just says they “didn’t eye to eye” on a few things. His fire control ability allows this weapon master to make any shaded blade out of fire. He is an older brother figure to Ksaana and is the person who taught her to sword fight. He is a confident and responsible person who looks after those around him. He meets Ceren, Rey, and Estelle after saving them and Ksaana and then collectively roasts all four of them.
Voice: No preference.
Line 0 Context: Ksaana snuck into a bandit hideout after her stuff was stolen. Ace tracks her down and after saving her, once again, he has some words to say.
Line 1 Context: Ace tells Ksaana that she will be able to channel flames through her new sword. Almost immediately, she tries out the sword… indoors.
Line 2 Context: Ace has a SandStinger companion, which is a big beetle mount. Ace offers Ceren, Rey, and Estelle a ride but his companion isn’t being very cooperative.

Character Overview
Meet Miest! One of the only S-rank members of the guild. He is Renan’s mentor and meets Rey and Ceren during a monster attack. After seeing what Rey and Ceren can do, he offers them the opportunity to train at his guild. And by “offers” we mean coerces. The whole thing worked out for Rey tho. This action-oriented and eager S-ranker often comes off as intimidating, sometimes on purpose and sometimes not. He is one of the guild’s instructors (or drill sergeant as others would call him) who trains others on how to use their abilities and reach their full potential.
Voice: No preference but some lines are spoken intensely/intimidating.
Line 0 Context: Rey and Ceren wake up after the monster attack and Meist wants to talk to them about what happened.
Line 1 Context: After almost giving Rey and Ceren a heart attack by suggesting that he has the report them both (bad joke by the way), Miest says he was just joking and tries to recruit them.
Line 2 Context: Rey and Ceren try to tell Renan about Ceren’s situation but Miest is on a tight schedule and needs to get back to the guild hall asap with Renan’s help.

She has a very no-nonsense and direct mindset, often doing whatever it takes to reach her nefarious goals, whatever they may be…
Voice: Evil cynical
Line 0 Context: Raven sees something she needs but she doesn’t have the manpower to get it. She hired bandits and gives them an absolutely foolproof plan to get her precious merchandise.
Line 1 Context: Raven was impressed that the bandits were able to complete step one of her master plan. Hopefully, they can keep it up.
Line 2 Context: The bandits screw up the absolutely foolproof plan. Raven comes back to see the bandit’s base in shambles and the bandits knocked out.

Meet “Echo”! And that’s in quotation marks because no one knows his real name. When you’re a mercenary, bounty hunter, and smuggler, hiding your real name is a must. Echo is an untamed force of aggression and unpredictability, willing to take on any job. As long as it pays well. He has a gravity control power, which he is very proud of. When he fights, he lacks any and all restraint, all while saying “For your sake, I hope you make this interesting” attitude.
Voice: Proud and confident.
Line 0 Context: Echo is speaking with Ravera about a failed mission thanks to the incompetent bandits. These weaklings are worth less than dirt to Echo.
Line 1 Context: Echo witnessed a touching goodbye where one person promised that they would meet the other at their favorite spot later. Unfortunately, Echo has other plans.
Line 2 Context: While tracking down Ace, Echo is surprised that Ace noticed him. Looks like this job is going to be a thrilling one.
