Denji is a rough-around-the-edges, impulsive teenager who’s lived a life of poverty and desperation, making him brutally straightforward yet oddly endearing. His voice should have a raw, unpolished quality—youthful but worn from hardship, with an energetic, almost reckless edge, especially when he's excited or desperate. In quieter moments, there should be a sense of longing or vulnerability, revealing the depth beneath his chaotic exterior.

"These guys had plenty goin' for 'em already. Why was it they wanted even more? Or maybe we're alike. Pochita made me happy, and that shoulda been enough, but I kept on dreaming of a better life. Guess we all fantasize about getting an upgrade. Can’t really say I blame you for that. Dreaming’s not a bad thing, but… If you’re gonna get in our way, THEN YOU CAN ALL DIE!!"
“I want five!! No, ten girlfriends!! I wanna have tons of sex!! That’s why… that’s why I… I wanna be chainsaw man!”
*Scream Bloody Murder*
Makima is a mysterious and unnervingly composed high-ranking Devil Hunter who exudes an air of absolute control and quiet dominance. Her voice should be smooth, calm, and almost hypnotic—never raising in anger or excitement, yet always carrying an unsettling authority. There should be a subtle, eerie warmth to her tone, making her sound inviting and gentle, yet with an underlying sense that she is always in complete control of any situation.
"From now on, you're in my care, Denji. Only answer with ‘Yes’ or ‘Woof’, I don’t need a dog who says ‘No’."
“I’m Not At Liberty To Discuss Public Safety Intel With Private Citizens.”
“Life Comes In A Wide Variety Of Flavors.”
Himeno is a laid-back yet deeply conflicted Devil Hunter who masks her grief and fear with teasing humor and casual flirtation. Her voice should have a smooth, relaxed quality, often playful or slightly sultry, but with an underlying weight of exhaustion and sorrow. In serious moments, that façade drops, revealing a raw, almost desperate sincerity, especially when speaking about loss or her hopes for Aki.
"All right! I'll throw a bone! The lucky winner who defeats the devil this time gets a kiss on the cheek from me!"
"I have a contract with the ghost devil. In exchange for feeding it my right eye, I get to use my ghost's right hand. It's invisible and pretty strong - pretty useful right?"
"You're my sixth buddy. The others are all dead. They all died because they were useless nobodies."
Kobeni is a highly anxious and easily panicked Devil Hunter who constantly teeters between timid reluctance and bursts of unexpected skill in combat. Her voice should be high-pitched or slightly shaky, always carrying a nervous, on-edge energy, as if she’s moments away from breaking down. When terrified, her speech should be frantic and breathy, but in rare moments of confidence or desperation, there’s a sharp, almost feral intensity to her tone.
"I can't take it anymore... This job is going to drive me crazy..."
"Denji... Let it eat you."
"IT'S THAT FIEND'S ABILITY! THAT'S WHAT'S TRAPPING US ON THE EIGHT FLOOR!! THAT'S WHAT IT HAS TO BE!!"
Arai is a rookie Devil Hunter who is earnest, well-meaning, and tries his best despite his lack of exceptional skill. His voice should be youthful and slightly formal, with a polite and somewhat stiff tone that reflects his inexperience and desire to prove himself. In moments of fear or stress, there should be a wavering hesitation, but when standing his ground, his voice should carry a determined, if somewhat shaky, resolve.
"ACTING INDEPENTLY IS DANGEROUS, STOP!"
"But I don't have talent as a Devil Hunter like you do... I'm envious..."
"CALM DOWN, KOBENI! SHE'S A BLOOD FIEND!"
The debt collector is a cruel and callous yakuza member who exploits Denji’s desperation, treating him like disposable trash. His voice should be gruff and intimidating, with a condescending, almost mocking tone when speaking to Denji. There’s no warmth or patience—just cold authority and the occasional sneer of amusement at Denji’s suffering.

- male senior
- all american accents
"Good job, Denji. This corpse'll be a hefty sum on the black market."
"We're making him pay back his debt to us."
"Denji! Got a devil. Time for work."
The Zombie Devil is a grotesque, sadistic creature that thrives on manipulating and consuming humans, speaking with a mix of arrogance and bloodthirsty delight. Its voice should be deep, guttural, and monstrous—raspy or wet, as if its throat is clogged with decay. There should be an unhinged quality, shifting between gleeful mockery and violent rage, emphasizing its inhuman and terrifying nature.
"HEY, LITTLE DEVIL HUNTER!!!"
"WHEN I SAID I'D GIVE THEM MY DEVIL POWER, THEY BECAME MY SLAVES WLLINGLY!"
"HUH?! IMPOSSBLE! HOW ARE YOU STILL ALIVE?!"
