Project Overview
Greetings! I'm Zenith, and I'm making a dramatic, gritty PG-13 fan series based off of the Splatoon franchise. I'll get straight to the point: I'm looking for any voice actor who is a fan or the series, or just like to voice act for the fun of the game. The characters will be provided for you here.
For my fellow/aspiring voice actors, we're looking at a primarily English script, but it also includes Spanish and Japanese lines. And since this is PG-13, there will be moderate swearing, but nothing too vulgar.
Few things to keep in mind:
I recommend repeating your lines once or twice. This shows me how much versatility you have in speaking.
Record your lines into one .wav file, please.
I may judge based off of the quality of your mic. It doesn't have to be the best, and a physical microphone isn't required if your phone records voices well, but I'd rather have minimal distracting overlays in your recordings.

An ambitious overachiever, with a positive outlook on life and the future of his nation. He's gained a bit of an ego for being on the top of the leagues in academics, which also causes him to be harder on himself. Despite his rationality, his emotions are more volatile than he'd like them to be, and he doesn't adapt well to major changes. He's a kid of order and stability, but he isn't too afraid of getting a little chaotic with his younger sister. (side note: he's gay)
He has a primarily American accent, and he has an expressive tone.

(stern) Tsuitekoi!
She is one of the main protagonists. A snarky, energetic, strong-willed girl who prides herself in her combat ability, with a big reputation in her school as representing their town's strength. She rarely keeps herself in check with her rash decisions and bold moves, leaving that task to her big brother Keijiro most of the time. She's aggressive and brash, if it wasn't obvious, and loves the spotlight, though she can dial it down when need be.
Her voice is raspy because she yells a lot. She is also bilingual in English and Japanese.

(snarky, muttering) Does he know he's a little old for him?
He's a side character. Avoids conflict as much as he can, paranoid, and only interested in staying in the smallest comfort zone he has with his friends. He's as curious as Keijiro, but unlike him, he'd rather stay curious and fly under the radar. To anyone else, he's like a shadow, but he's friendly and personable around those in his close circle, including Neoma, Keijiro, and Brooke.
He's bilingual in Spanish and English. His voice is like any other teenager, go nuts.

Side character. She's desensitized to the world around her and has grown a closed-off, quiet, and numb kind of vibe. She has a misleading exterior, with some thinking she's a moody, edgy teenager, when she's actually the most caring out of her friend group. She acts as a rational diffuser in high conflict, which her friend, Omero, admires.
She has a moderately deeper tone than average. Only fluently speaks English.

Side character. She's a tender-hearted Assistant Sergeant who has a love for community and togetherness. This social butterfly can talk and charm her way through many things, but is a klutz when it comes to physical tasks. She doesn't discriminate with her kindness, except towards the enemy her military is fighting.
She has a sweet, joyful tone, with a moderately Southern accent.

(slightly awkward, friendly) No, no, it's okay! I admire your protection!
Side character. A tired, middle aged man whose routine is a cycle of war and missions. He treats most things with a lack of passion, and is more socially awkward than he likes to show himself to be, especially when it comes to praise and other people's personal business. He's edgy and roughed-up around the edges.

Side character. Mama of Keijiro and Neoma, and a nurturing, nervous mother. She lives in constant stress of her family, but despite that, she doesn't stop being supportive. She's a diffuser of her wife's aggressive protection, and carries wisdom from her past as an ex-militant.
She's fluent in English, and learns Japanese from her wife, but isn't good at pronouncing the language.

Side character. More stern and ornery when it comes to parenting, but still supports and cares for her kids. Head over heels for her wife Carla, since she helped find her happiness and fun way back. Her emotions are mildly volatile, but easy to manage in most cases.
She has a moderate East Asian accent, and speaks English and Japanese fluently.
