My Hero Academia: The Abridged Movie!
Project Overview
This summer we will be releasing the largest project we have ever created! My Hero Academia: The Abridged Movie will be a 40+ minute long abridge that will parody the story of the My Hero Academia: Two Heroes film! Not only will it be our largest project yet but we are hoping to make it one of the biggest abridged crossovers in recent history, garnishing the help of many well know content creators in the Abridging and AniTube community!
This is a public Casting Call for all creators interested in voice acting within our project! For those of you who are unfamiliar with our work, we The Abridged Boiis, host a YouTube Channel in which we produce many different Anime Parodies including Seraph of the End Abridged, My Hero Academia Abridged and Re:Zero Abridged! This Audition will be for the roles for most of the secondary cast of the original My Hero Academia: Two Heroes film! IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:
-MINOR SPOILERS FOR THE ABRIDGED MOVIE AHEAD!
-We are pushing to have this project finished by a set dead-line, so if you are chosen for a Primary Character role please be prepared to have your lines in within the next 2 weeks.
-Here is a list of the characters and their project Line Count:
David (Wayne) Shield: 40-50 lines
Momo Yayorozu: <10 lines
- Kyoka Jiro: <10 lines
Denki Kaminari: <10 lines
- For all Minor/Extra characters, it is very likely that the recordings you audition with will be the lines we use in the final Movie, so we will be prioritizing mic quality and accurate line delivery.
- We will try to leave Reference lines for most of the Minor of the characters roles, so for accurate line delivery be sure to check for that!
- In some instances there are multiple characters within one role, so be sure to check each individual line.
- Feel free to audition with multiple characters. We are trying to make this project as diverse as possible so to increase you chances of being chosen we recommend auditioning for as many roles as you can roles!
AUDITION GUIDELINES
-All lines for a single character should be in the same file. Each character you audition for should be uploaded as an MP3 of WAV file.
-You may audition for as many characters as you like!
-Only 3 takes per line please. (you may do more takes if you are trying out different voices which is recommended)
-Record in Mono
-Mic Quality is a must! Any auditions with pops, peaks, background noise, reverb, or generally low mic quality will not be chosen.
-Remember to have fun and if you don't get chosen this time, we will always be hosting more auditions!

IMPORTANT: This character has a younger and older version of his voice. Please pay attention to the tags listed before each line when recording.
David is a calm, intelligent but vengeful man. His younger version is more energetic and witty however his older version is more of a parody on Bruce Wayne from Batman (Serious, slightly deep tone, and more mature sounding) .

Momo will be similar to his original character, but she will be portrayed as a bit more serious and she has a little bit of a sassy tone.

Jiro is a much sassier version of her original character. She's not afraid to speak her mind and is not afraid to say something offensive.

In our Abridged Movie Kaminari is an exaggerated version of his original character. He is energetic, outgoing, positive and can be loud at times.
