Project Overview

Hey! We're creating a fun, personality-driven YouTube explainer series in the style of channels like Glass and Game Theory. We're seeking a voice actor with an animated, engaging narration style. Someone with real character in their voice who can make even complex topics feel exciting and accessible.

About the Project

  • Initial videos will be 15–20 minutes in length but may extend

  • Starting with individual projects, aiming to scale to monthly releases

  • Full scripts will be provided

  • Long-term collaboration opportunity with potential for increased production

Your Role

  • Read through and understand each of the scripts

  • Bring energy, personality, and a sense of fun to the narration

  • Work with the rest of the team to really get a feel for the topics

  • Potentially collaborate on script refinements to better suit your voice

Audition Sample Text

"If someone with an average salary wanted Elon Musk's net worth, they would have to work for 8 million years.

That's 30 times longer than human beings have existed.

And in the time it's taken me to tell you this, Elon has made another $100,000.

But the craziest thing about Elon is that he's not even the richest person in history.

He's actually not even close.

If you look back in time, there are people that make Elon look broke.

So, let's go find the richest human to ever exist."

We're specifically looking for:

  • Animated, energetic delivery
  • Fun and engaging tone
  • Clear articulation
  • Ability to convey excitement and curiosity (think like you're telling your friend the wildest story they've ever heard)
  • Natural-sounding delivery that still has real personality and character, not a "radio voice"

In terms of accent or vibe, we're really not looking for anything specific so any sort of style of voice is great to listen to, so long as it meets those tone requirements. Same for gender, both are great.
