Cardcaptor Sakura Manga Dub

As a member of the famous Li clan of sorcerers from Hong Kong, of which Clow Reed's mother herself was also a member, Syaoran had firmly believed that he should be the one to capture and inherit the Clow Cards, not Sakura.
He was also portrayed as somewhat of a loner, given that he had been taught to be independent and self-reliant since childhood. However, as the series progresses, and especially after Sakura is officially deemed the new mistress of the Cards, Syaoran drops his rivalistic attitude towards her, and becomes a reliable ally and a beloved friend. As they spend more time together, Syaoran begins to develop romantic feelings for Sakura, to the extent where he blushes frequently in her presence, and becomes madly jealous when she pays more attention to another male.

Sakura's older brother. He holds the belief that as Sakura's older brother, he is the only person entitled to make fun of her, a belief that his best friend Yukito refers to as a "sister complex." However, he is also caring and protective of her, which leads him to dislike Syoaran Li when he finds Syaoran cornering Sakura in the schoolyard. Though Syaoran and Sakura eventually stop fighting and become best of friends, Toya continues to dislike Syaoran since he knows that Syaoran will eventually take Sakura away from him. He also mentions he does not like Syaoran because he is always helping Sakura. He knows Sakura's secret but pretends to not know. Sakura thinks it's impossible that he knows already because he would tease her about it.

Yukito is the best friend & love interest of Toya and is initially Sakura's object of affection as well. Syaoran harbors a crush on him for a while, which is based in his subconscious attraction to Yue's magic. Yukito's nearly omnipresent smile is evidence of his kind and gentle nature. Yukito also loves food and has an enormous appetite. However, it is mentioned somewhere in the third season that Yukito's true form Yue is unable to eat. This suggests that the reason Yukito has such a large appetite because he is eating for two. Near the end of the series, it is shown that Yue is losing his power and there is a strong possibility that he will disappear, so Yukito has to eat five times as much than usual. Yukito said "I eat and eat and eat, but I'm never full..." and feels very frail, which is a big worry to the survival of not only Yue but Yukito himself.

Fujitaka is the father of Sakura and Toya. Despite his very busy job as a college professor of archaeology at Towa University, he still finds time for his children whenever he can. He is labeled as a perfect man; he cooks and sews very well, which Toya sometimes does too. He also made Sakura's kimono. His children love him very much and try to help him as much as they can, often rotating duties at home. He is portrayed as an extremely kind and caring man, who has never been seen to get angry or upset at anything at all.

Kind, warm, serene and mature, Kaho is patient, polite, calm and level headed and effortlessly elegant. In her earlier appearances she came across as mysterious and enigmatic – although genuinely cheerful and kind, and seemingly harbouring some unknown motivation – fuelling Syaoran's initial skepticism and mistrust of her.

Tomoyo's mother, and cousin of Nadeshiko, Sakura's mother. Sonomi adores Sakura much like Tomoyo does, treating her as her own daughter. The main reason is that Sakura is the daughter of Nadeshiko, whom she had protected and loved since kindergarten. Nadeshiko died at the age of 27, three years after giving birth to Sakura. Sonomi initially blames Nadeshiko's death on Fujitaka, who was Sonomi's and Nadeshiko's teacher in high school.

Chiharu is one of Sakura's classmates in school. She, along with Rika andNaoko often appear alongside Sakura at school and during school events. She is also on the school's cheerleading squad with Sakura.

Rika is very elegant and mature for her age, although she can be very shy, especially when it comes to speaking to her teacher, Terada-Sensei.  Rika is also a skilled cook, able to bake cakes and cookies with ease. Rika is most known for her relationship with teacher. The student-teacher relationship is not uncommon in Japanese fiction, as it can be interpreted as very romantic for a young girl to follow an older man as a student and mentee, only to fall in love with him in the end. Rika and Terada's relationship reflects this innocence and happiness, untainted by criticism and controversy despite their age difference.

Yamazaki is one of Sakura's classmates in school. He is the only named male classmate in the series before the arrival of Syaoran. He often appears alongside Sakura at school and during school events and appears to be a good friend of Syaoran's as well as Sakura. Yamazaki is brave and cares very much for Sakura and her friends. He has a habit of telling tall tales in order to scare his classmates.

Naoko loves reading various types of stories, especially fantasy stories and ghost stories. While Sakura reacts to scary situations with utmost fear, Naoko reacts with fascination and a brave willingness to explore these mysterious situations further.

Terada-sensei, as he is addressed by all of his students, is a teacher at Tomoeda Elementary School. Through the fourth grade and part of the fifth-grade year, he is the homeroom teacher of Sakuraand every other recurring elementary student character. Terada appears to teach a variety of subjects, including physical education, where he is seen in a gray sweat-suit and equipped with a whistle.

Terada is not directly involved in any Clow Card plot, although he is generally always nearby as a chaperon on school field trips and events (where Clow Cards frequently appear). Because he has no magical ability, Terada never realizes most of what is happening or instead just considers it peculiar (i.e. unusual weather conditions).
