Camp Wildflower

Camp Wildflower

Project Overview

🌼 What Is Camp Wildflower?

Camp Wildflower is a Gacha Nebula animated reality TV parody where 12 eccentric contestants compete in absurd emotional challenges for a $1 million prize — while navigating friendships, rivalries, betrayals, and their own unresolved baggage.

Think Total Drama Island, but with more backstories, deeper emotional arcs, and chaotic camp therapy vibes.

Each episode blends over-the-top humor, heartfelt confessions, satirical “healing exercises,” and a surprising amount of emotional growth… or total breakdown.

The show is hosted by the mysterious and slightly menacing Vyx Voland, who guides the contestants through ridiculous tasks like group scream circles, buried childhood trauma scavenger hunts, and cry-or-die partner exercises.

🎭 What We’re Looking for in Voice Talent
  • Big characters: This series thrives on strong, distinct personalities. Go big, bold, and specific. Whether it’s sarcastic, deadpan, chaotic, or heartfelt — lean in.

  • Emotional range: Many characters shift from comedy to vulnerability. Be ready to jump from goofy one-liners to real emotional beats. This isn’t just slapstick — it’s satire with soul.

  • Reality TV rhythm: We’re parodying reality TV, so think confessionals, dramatic pauses, backstabbing whispers, and sudden heartfelt monologues. Embrace the drama.

  • Good comedic timing: Punchlines, sarcasm, awkward pauses — bring them to life. This isn’t stiff anime-style dubbing. It’s expressive, fast-paced, and character-driven.

  • Authentic voices: We love diverse accents, natural speaking styles, and real voices. Don’t worry about sounding “animated” — worry about sounding real.

🎧 Recording Expectations
  • Remote recordings are fine as long as audio quality is clear and clean (no background noise, popping, or heavy reverb).

  • Direction will be provided: Some lines will come with emotional cues or sample takes for tone reference.

  • Expect some improv freedom — especially in confessionals and reaction lines.

  • Regular episodes will be 5–10 minutes, with a possible season of 8–10 episodes.

  • We may request pickups or retakes based on performance — we’ll always give clear, respectful notes.

📝 Key Takeaway for VAs

This isn’t just a parody — it’s a character-driven reality satire with heart. Every role matters. Whether you're playing the tough girl, the lovable weirdo, the manipulative queen bee, or the deadpan robot-man — we want your take to shine.

Bring the drama. Bring the humor. Bring the heart.

Kenta Riomoto has the looks, the abs, and the followers—but don’t let the beachy smile fool you. Underneath the perfectly curated life is a guy who peaked early and knows it. Once a star athlete on track for the pros, an injury cut his career short. Now he’s online, flexing for sponsorships and pretending he's fine.

He came to Camp Wildflower to show he’s more than just a pretty face—and to prove to himself (and the world) that he can win something that actually matters.

Cristina Low is the first to correct your grammar, your math, or your faulty logic — even if you didn’t ask. She’s sharp, sarcastic, and very online. She grew up as the “weird smart kid” in a big, emotionally chaotic household where being right was her only form of control.

Now in her 30s, Cristina’s intelligence is her armor — and she wears it like a full suit of medieval plate. But beneath the quips and the encyclopedic recall is someone desperate to be seen as more than just “the clever one.”

Cristina applied to Camp Wildflower half as a joke… and half because her therapist said she should try something “uncomfortable and human.”

Sabrina Lin wasn’t supposed to be on the show. Her twin brother Julian applied for Camp Wildflower as a personal growth thing — and when he got accepted, she only agreed to tag along because she didn’t want him being emotionally exploited on national television without someone to make fun of it.

Sabrina is sarcastic, deadpan, and always in black — eyeliner sharp enough to cut glass and a permanent “this is stupid” expression. But she’s observant, quietly funny, and deeply loyal. Under the layers of black clothing and apathy, there’s an artist who feels too much and hides it well.

She says she’s not here to “grow” or “transform.” But that won’t stop it from happening.

Julian Lin is the kind of guy everyone describes as “super chill” — and they’re not wrong. He’s easygoing, always smiling, and manages to float through life with a calm that makes people either trust him immediately or wonder what he's hiding.

He applied to Camp Wildflower on a whim after reading the phrase “transformational journey” on the website and thinking, “Sure, why not?” He convinced his twin sister Sabrina to come along, not realizing she’d turn it into a full-blown social experiment.

Julian may seem like the laid-back nice guy who’s just here for the vibes — but underneath his mellow exterior is someone quietly searching for direction and trying to figure out what it actually means to be his own person, apart from his twin.

Nicolo Dames is hard to read. He’s a master at controlling his emotions and keeping his thoughts locked behind a stoic exterior. Raised in a high-pressure environment where showing emotion was a sign of weakness, Nicolo learned early on that it was easier to shut down than to feel. Now, he’s a quiet, calculating presence in any room — and that includes Camp Wildflower.

He didn’t apply for the show for self-discovery. In fact, he doesn’t believe in "growth" or "transformational experiences." He’s here because he was bored, and the prize money seemed like a good challenge. But the camp forces him to confront his own emotional void, something he’s not prepared for — or willing to face.

Lata Kim is pure serotonin in human form — cheerful, bubbly, and entirely unaware of how the world actually works. She doesn’t mean to say weird things; they just kind of fall out of her mouth. She once asked if confidence was a vitamin. She thought "emotional baggage" was something you packed for a breakup trip.

But despite her obliviousness, people can’t help but love her. She’s genuine, kind, and always ready to give a pep talk that makes no logical sense but somehow still makes you feel better.

She applied to Camp Wildflower because she thought it was a yoga retreat. When she found out it was a reality show with a million-dollar prize, she said, “Oh, cool! I’ve never won anything except a smoothie punch card.”

Elisa Gin is pure love in motion. She hugs like she means it, cries at commercials, and tells people she loves them way too early. She's used to being the comforter, the hype girl, the “mom friend” — but underneath her warmth is a deep fear: that if she isn’t giving love constantly, she won’t be worth receiving it.

She grew up in a family where body image was a battleground, and even now, as an adult who promotes self-love online, she still struggles with feeling "too much" — too emotional, too loud, too soft, too big. Coming to Camp Wildflower is her way of stepping out of that role and into something for herself.

Elisa says she’s here for healing, but don’t be fooled — she’s got her eye on that million too. And if kindness can’t win? She’s ready to find out what happens when she finally starts putting herself first.

She’s direct, disciplined, and all about forward momentum. Some contestants think she’s intimidating. Others admire her confidence. But Emi isn’t here to impress anyone — she’s here to test herself in a different way: emotionally.
