CALO (3D animated short)
Project Overview
Intro:
CALO is a 3D animated short film about a strange boy in a strange world. His origins and motivations are unknown, first seen being born out of a monolithic tower in a sky desert. He traverses a strange empty world of plastic and concrete, only to find himself to be a less than welcome intruder into this world. But at least the birds are cool.
Role Description:
The character in this section of the project is a somewhat spiteful yet caring woman named Sharolette. I want it spelled that way. She is an outwardly expressive and judgmental person, less in a rude way and more of a "has to deal with this annoying lost child she found at the mall" way. She generally tries to be nice but isn't afraid to speak her mind.
Her role in the story is to act as a temporary guide to the main character, showing him where to go to get to his destination while giving some expositional dialogue. (usually through passive aggressive insults) to both the main character and the audience.
Payment:
You will receive payment after the lines are sent over, if you want half up front that will also work. its a decent word count its gonna be 100$. but I'm willing to do more if need be. I like giving talented people money.
Audition requirements:
- You can submit up to 4 takes, feel free to experiment!
- Please submit your audio with little to no background noise and with appropriate levels.
- Audio files can be in any format within reason. (please dont submit a .ogg or an ADX for example)

This role should be fun for those who like to vent frustration through voice work. I don't really have a set idea for exactly what Sharolette would sound like, she is a foil to the main character, being older, taller, and more experienced than him. Her voice would be deeper than his, (a male in early 20s who sounds young for his age) not deep on its own but in relative context.
[in a "what did you just ask me?" tone (slightly annoyed)]And why exactly should I help you?
[stammering, (slightly disgusted)]Wh-Hey, No pets- Allowed![when she says "allowed" she volleyball serves a pigeon into the ocean (it gets mad air)]
[questioning, mildly awestruck]I-Is that bad? It’s like 30° or something out and you’re freezing!(she refers to degrees in celcius)
