Project Overview
Hello! My name is Michael, and I have a small YouTube channel called MikeandAMic (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJlTf9h9XqnLRNAsrRRVaKA), where I uh... used to make some anime/gaming videos but after a long break, I've gotten interested in making some videos again! I recently uploaded my first Anime in Minutes for Spy x Family and was a great success! And this time I will be working on a parody version of Call of the Night! It's pretty much a parody that also works as a summary of the series. It's a popular thing called Anime IN MINUTES, which inspired me by 'Gigguk', a famous YouTuber! And now I'm just trying out my own version of it.
REQUIREMENTS
- Being able to meet deadlines. <-- Extremely important!
- Interest in the anime series and in this project. (If you watched the show, that's a bonus!)
- Decent microphone and quality audio. XLR is preferred, but USB is totally fine! However, I would request that there be no background noise and distortion.
- There will be some screaming involved as well as cursing, so please keep this in mind when auditioning!
- A form of communication is required. Discord is preferred, but Gmail is fine as well.
- Actually communicate!! Please try to respond to all messages within 24 hours of receiving them!
- There is a chance I may ask for a re-submission of lines when working together!
DEADLINES AND AUDITIONS
Update: The deadline has been extended to October 23rd, 2022! However, there is no guarantee characters will be available for audition till the deadline.
The deadline for auditions is October 17th, 2022. However, I may extend the deadline depending on how this goes! I will notify voice actors who have been cast in roles within 24 hours of being selected and send scripts to voice actors the same day. Depending on the characters, I will request voices to be submitted within (roughly) 1-2 weeks.
NOTE
I am prioritizing voice actors who can show emotion and energy more than sounding like the original VA's. After all, this IS just a parody video! Although of course, similarity to the originals will be a bonus.
I do provide feedback upon request so please don't hesitate to ask!
