Project Overview

Brebrook is a dark themed anime. There are plenty of gory moments, sad moments, sexual moments/tension, (though, no full sex scenes), and an overall dark theme, which has themes such as murder, miscarriage, mental disorders, and asylums. For this reason, Brebrook is rated 18+ (FOR VIEWING, not AUDITIONS). Please keep in mind that these disorders are real, however, the characters in the story are made into the absolute extreme version of these disorders. I'm not trying to give certain disorders a bad name. If you have a problem with one of the characters, such as they are offensive, please inbox me.

Brebrook Home for the Insane -
Built in 1846 in Germany, the story takes place in 1890. Home to those who are deemed insane, Housing both murderers and psychopaths. It is a "rehab" center for those in dire need of it. The best doctors, physicians, and psychologists will treat each patient well, reshaping them and making sure they can go back into the world after their sentence is over. Even if you have a life sentence, you can enjoy yourself with gardening, sports and enjoy the food at the home.

Story
Revolving around 6 inmates and their backstories, how they came to Brebrook and their life in Brebrook. Their daily life isn't as glamorous as the outside believes Brebrook is. 

(The real series isn't going to premiere until 2019. Currently, Project Broken is going on until 2018. Please keep in mind that this is just a trailer promoting that series.)

-A Microphone (Doesn't need to be top quality, just as long as you don't sound like you're in the catacombs)
-Flexibility to have dates pushed back or moved forward.

Each voice actor will have two to three weeks to record and send in their lines. After that, you get a week to redo (if needed) lines. All lines must be sent via email in .mp3/.wav format.

  • Alexandrine's Story

    Alexandrine's story, her supporting and lead roles have been added. A few more will trickle in, including another lead male later in the day. Summary of the story: Alexandrine is the heir to one of the most wealthy families in all of France, owning 2% of France's GDP alone. As punishment for almost breaking her arm, Leon and his family, Cobalt, and Alair must work until her arm is fixed, and their debt is paid. However, this paradise of a home quickly turns from a utopia to their dystopia, as Alexandrine's love quickly turns to lust, and her jealousy turning into a murderous intention. Leon is quickly slain after rejecting her and calling her a monster. A year later, Alexandrine falls in love once again with a new person called Oliver, as the cycle repeats once more..

Note: Please feel comfortable voicing (almost) sex scenes. Though there never is full on sex, there get moments where it gets steamy. If you aren't up for that, then I suggest not voicing him!

Leon had always been living in the slums of Paris, never knowing his parents or if he ever had any other relatives. He grew up stealing from people, though after meeting Alair and Cobalt, he ended up selling what he could find. He would never be good with any girls, including Alair, but after a bit, he learned how at least be calm around them. He never wished for much except being with Cobalt and Alair in a home, where they could all live together peacefully. After moving into the Roux family mansion as a servant, he was subject to be Alexandrine's personal servant.

Blonde hair reaching just past his ears, sky blue eyes, tan skin and long baggy clothes, he often was seen wearing a brown hat, only when he was out selling items in the Paris marketplace. He has a long scar on his right side of his back.

  • [Nervous, talking a bit fast] Wow! Cobalt, you are looking much better today! Are you feeling better? [Still nervous, happy] Maybe you don’t need any medicine anymore!

  • [Scared] I’m so sorry! Please don’t kill me! I don’t know what overcame me! [Quietly] I just saw you crying and.. [Scared, Stumbling over his words] And I panicked! If your dad hears you screaming, I’ll be tortured! [Scared, imagining this] No! Burned alive! I won't be allowed to die! I’d be a slave whipped for all eternity!

Black hair, tan skin and brown eyes, he has freckles on his cheeks as well. One beauty mark under his right eye as well.

The father of Aaron, he is one of the best blacksmiths around. He is an Italian immigrant, (however, his accent isn't too strong, due to him living in France for several years.) one who is single, but has a child. Being middle class, he travels around France often to learn about better blacksmithing techniques. He is quite caring towards his son, Aaron, but, doesn't mind being a bit tough on him.

Cobalt, a friend of Leon, and living in the Roux home. Born to a middle-class family, he lost his mother and father when he was only age ten. With no other family willing to take him in, he and his sister had been thrown into the slums of Paris. There, he had met  Leon and began to live together. The three would find an abandoned "house" and live there, where Cobalt became sickly and weak. Him, mostly silent and weak, has begun getting treatment by Doctor Bline in the Roux Mansion.

Long brown hair, pulled into a loose ponytail, green eyes,  and pale skin is what he looks like. He is often seen wearing what he had left of his fathers. Long brown shorts and baggy top. Though he has a newspaper boy hat, he never wears it.

  • [Annoyed] Leon.. If I ever see you touch my sister again.. I’ll kick your ass.

  • [Quietly, some coughs interrupting] I.. I’m not sure what is wrong with me... But I know I am contagious... Please stay over there.

Sticking more to his books and studies, he rarely goes outside. Despite this, he does love the nature he can see from his room - The flowers, the sky, the stars. Top of his class, amazing at playing instruments and a great fighter, he is only bad at cooking. The son of a top Duke, he works with the French Police as a detective and inspector.  He can easily act a certain way, trying to tailor his personality based on who he's with.

The Younger sister of Cobalt, energetic and taking over the role of a mother. She learned how to cook and clean, and often takes care of her older brother while Leon goes out and sells things. She is great at cleaning and knows how to cook good meals from often spoiled or bad food. Upon entering the Roux Family household as a maid, she was assigned to work in the kitchen. Never letting anything spoil her mood, she is often happy. She does care deeply for both Leon and Cobalt and would put their health over hers.

Long blonde hair and brown eyes, she has rosy red lips too. Pale skin (she stays indoors), and rosy pink cheeks. She looks completely different than her brother, Cobalt.

Lilith ("the Cockblocker") Reiner had lived always in a middle-class family. To support her family, she got a job at the Roux mansion at age sixteen. Now eighteen, she is one of two female maids there, and one Alexandrine's personal servants. She tends to every need of Alexandrine, dressing her, ironing her clothes, cleaning her room, and helping her bathe.

Lilith has long, curly black hair, which reaches past her shoulders. She has pale skin and brown eyes. She is often quiet, straight forward, and obedient. She rarely gets scared, angry or embarrassed. Due to her being a servant for so long, being close to guys hardly fazes her.

  • [Quietly] I understand, My Lady, please rest up tonight. The Master wishes to see you early in the morning. He wished to see you now, but I shall let him know that you are feeling unfit for a meeting.

Kevin, a servant to the Roux Family, is the head servant, and a young one, compared to those in the past. He works for the Roux Family as a bodyguard to the Lady (Alexandrine) and her father. He knows plenty of different styles of fighting and quickly can put down a person, as well as easily snap someone's arm. His past is relatively unknown, and is only known to be a son of a wealthy merchant. Unable to inherit the wealth of his parents due to an affair he had at age seventeen, he was cast away to become a servant in the Roux family. The woman he had an affair with, was one in the Roux family.

Chrome hair, golden eyes and pale skin. He is often seen wearing his butler uniform.

  • [Sighing] Please tolerate it, Leon. The hot water will wash away any grime you may have on you...

  • [Shocked] The audacity! My Lady, I am terribly sorry! [Scared, trying to apologize] We haven’t gone over proper ways to say your name! The day has just begun after all! Please forgive us... [Directing it to Leon] Hey, get on your hands and knees and apologize!

Living in Korea, he was kidnapped at age 3 and has no memory of his life before that. Working for Mr.Eun at his mortuary, he came close to bodies and often saw them being burned instead of buried. He loved to see the sight of burning bodies, as well as the smell of burning bones. From this, his master, Mr.Eun had taught him how to burn the diseased and starving, to "end their misery". From there, setting people on fire became his pastime, and every time he would bring home ashes to Mr.Eun, he would be rewarded with a gift of food. Cases of people being burned alive, even those healthy would cause police to track down this madman, who, upon confrontation, would do everything to save Mr.Eun. Burning the police alive, and then going to burn down the police station in that town. Setting the entire town a blaze as Mr. Eun escaped, the police then came again and took him down. Fulfilling his mission, Mr. Eun was never put on trial and roams free, while coming to visit Hyun-Joo every couple days. Mr.Eun escaped Korea to Germany and opened a new Mortuary business, one far more successful than his one in Korea.

Naoko or Nao, is 21 years old. Administered when he was 19, for killing his girl friend, her brother and then her mother. He left the bodies in the house where he had lived with the bodies for three weeks. He had cut up his girlfriend, slept with her head and when getting bored, he walked out of the house covered in blood with a large machete. Walking down the street without a care in the world, police would be called to the scene, where he was promptly arrested and sent to the Institute.

Age 32. She was brought in at age 26. Upon falling in love with the love of her life, she had a child with him. The child, black hair and brown eyes, she treated it with care. Her husband, several months later, would die in a car crash, leaving her with the baby. Rent, food, diapers, everything in debt would start to rack up as she would begin to sell her body to take care of the child fees. Until she would get pregnant again, leading to her going insane. Killing her baby and then planning to take the baby in her stomach out, police came and arrested her, leaving her in the Institute. no longer pregnant, however.

He's from a rural part of China known for making medicines.
He can only count to 8.

Living as a nomad since his family disowned him at birth. He only has a memory of finding a bear he calls Ming. This bear, despite being almost as old as him, has never left his arms once. Since then, he has learned how to make poisons and medicines from traveling town to town and was known as the "Sandman". He put to "sleep" an entire town with his poisons and continued to do so throughout rural China. Upon trying to do this again in the city, he was caught and thrown into jail. After being crafty enough, and small enough, he escaped out of many prisons, until he was shipped from China over to Germany, where he couldn't escape.

Cat heads, dead bugs, dirt, wilted flowers, and blood. All sent through the mail to their house. Clothes inside their room gifted to them, food prepared by maids or servants from them. Drove many of the people she stalked into insanity or suicide. She would always find her way to their funeral, just to see them one last time. She would always kill other girls that would get "Too close" with the boy she set her eyes on. Sending them a severed hand or leg from that female to her male interest.  She wouldn't be caught until she fell into a police trap, upon entering a male interest's home. She set the house on fire as she escaped, hoping not to be caught. She would be hunted from Northern France to southern France, where she was caught and sent to Brebrook.

Born into the slums of Canada, he learned how to quickly fend for himself. Trust no one, trust no crowds, and be a lone wolf. He stole food and money for a living and resorting to violence if needed. He would often learn to kidnap younger children than him and send in ransom notes to the families. Earning money through crude ways, he would end up having enough money to rent a small room and get food for himself. At nine, that would change, however. Upon kidnapping a child of the mafia, he would end up serving the mafia for life. A life of a hitman was his new life, and his new name was Rori. As punishment as well for kidnapping a child, his eyeball would be scooped out by the Grandfather of the Mafia. Eventually, at age thirteen, he would turn on the Mafia, and kill the Grandfather, becoming the new one. However, disaster would strike when he was raided, and he would be dethroned and tossed onto the street. Returning to the life as a beggar, he was arrested for intruding on land. Later, police would find out his history of kidnapping and murder, where he was thrown into a regular jail. After months of being in a dreamlike, unmoving state, a doctor diagnosed him with Depersonalization Disorder, and he was thrown into Brebrook. There, he remains quiet, calm, however deadly.

Doctor Bline, 18, black hair, brown eyes, glasses, slender.

Doctor Bline is the head doctor of the mental ward. He specializes in the rehab of patients and creating medicines. He is one of three doctors in the Institute. He joined the Institute as an Early College Graduate, at age 16. Despite getting offers from places around the world, he stuck to Brebrook Institute. Young and energetic, he is always one to want to test new things on some of his patients.

  • Warden! Warden! [Happily] I developed something new-(Getting cut off) [Dissapointed] Whaaat.. What do you mean you don't care?

Despite it not being a prison, Garion had given himself the title of Warden. He treats this job very seriously.
