Hello, and thank you for your interest in our game (title TBA publicly upon submitting to the jam). The team I am working with is submitting this game to the Brackey’s Game Jam of 2024. More info about the jam can be found here: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12
The project lead is looking to cast voices for the main playable character and the unlockable character, both roles having just efforts and reactions rather than lines/dialogue.
DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 13 @ 5:00 PM CDT
*UPDATE: The time CCC is showing in the corner is NOT correct (as of this update, it's showing 3 hours left despite it being only 9:30 in the morning)
We recommend looking up a time zone converter to get the correct deadline time according to your time zone -- and we'd like to give everyone a fair chance :)
XLR and USB microphones (in a sound treated space) are preferred for this game.
Please include two - three takes per reaction.
Unfortunately due to time constraints, the cast auditions will be used for the game rather than having further recording sessions in order for this team to have all audio clips edited and ready before the jam deadline.
Along with your audition, please include your contact info (as well as your discord if you’d like to join the server). While VAs won't need to do any further work after auditioning, the cast actors are more than welcome to join the discord server if they’re interested in seeing how the game develops.
