People are not born equal, a realization that four-year-old Izuku Midoriya faced when bullied by his classmates who had unique special powers. Role assigned to: nikko therealeternal

Izuku is a very timid, helpful and polite boy, frequently overreacting to abnormal situations with exaggerated expressions. Due to being bullied since childhood for being born without a Quirk, he is initially portrayed as insecure, being more reserved and not self-expressive, especially in front of Katsuki Bakugo, who constantly subdued him for his aspirations to be a hero. However, after being accepted into U.A. High, making new friends and facing Katsuki during the Battle Trial Arc, he has gradually turned into a more confident and brave person, to the point of developing some leadership skills.
Izuku is also very diligent and strong-willed. Since he greatly admires Heroes, having dreamed to be one since he was a young kid, he developed a habit of writing down notes about everything he knows in regards to them and their Quirks, including even other U.A. students. Because of this practice, Izuku has developed a great analytical mind and is easily able to form complex plans in short amounts of time, often taking advantage of his allies' Quirks to put them in motion. This aspect also helps him in figuring out ways to counter Quirks used by his opponents. Izuku also has the tendency to overthink about anything that grabs his attention, which leads to endless mumbling from his part.

  • "I'll do my best! Whatever you say, All Might... I'll step up to the challenge! As long as you're by my side, I can do anything... That's how I feel, anyway!"

  • Child Izuku:"Mom, hurry! C'mon mom. It's computer time!

  • "I have to work harder than anyone else to make it! I'll never catch up otherwise...! I want to be like you...! Like you. The strongest hero."

Role assigned to: allen the ultimate gamer

Katsuki is a very crude, violent, arrogant, and aggressive person. Having an attitude reminiscent of a teenage delinquent, Katsuki tends to come off as very anti-heroic, if not downright villainous. This problematic behavior goes all the way back to his early childhood days, when he was known to bully a young, Quirkless Izuku Midoriya. However, after being accepted into U.A. High and experiencing several personal defeats, one of them even coming from Izuku, Katsuki has gradually changed into a less antagonistic person, albeit still retaining a lot of his unpleasant traits.
Brutal and bloodthirsty, Katsuki smiles eerily when finding himself in the middle of a battle. His personality reflects his fighting style: mercilessly assaulting the opponent and having no regard for nearby objects, merely destroying them with his power. Despite this, he's quite talented in fighting, using his Quirk in various ways besides attacking. He's also very intelligent, being capable of strategic planning and holding some of the highest grades in his class, to the point that some even consider him a natural genius.

  • "From here on, I..! From here on..! Y'hear me?! I'm gonna... beat you all! Enjoy your win. It'll never happen again! Dammit!"

  • Child Katsuki:"Hmph. You wanna pretend to be a hero [Grunt] You don't stand a chance without a Quirk. Deku.

  • "You'll regret making a fool of me! I'll freaking kill you! I'm taking the first to end all firsts! There's no point in winning against some half-assed punk! No point if I can't do better than Deku! So if you're not trying to win, get the hell outta my face! Why're you even here, you bastard?!"

All Might [Toshinori Yagi]

Role assigned to: AnotherAsianVA

Toshinori's hero persona derives much from American superhero stereotypes, in which they are colorful and have a lot of dramatic flair. Always sporting a giant smile, he usually shows off a bright, can-do attitude that borders on being obnoxious. He also tends to be extremely friendly and amicable, due to his popularity and years in the spotlight. However, when he reverts to being sick and scrawny (as a result of a previous battle), he tends to be less energetic, both due to having no need to hide his worries about the state of affairs around him, and his constant blood-spitting. Additionally, he avoids drawing attention to himself altogether while in his true form, always afraid that others might learn of his current state of health.
Two personality traits always persist, though, whether he is in hero-mode or normal-mode: his optimism and his oafishness. He has always had faith and hope that someone would come along, worthy enough to bear One For All. Despite actually being more intelligent than his image would suggest, he is still sometimes depicted being outsmarted by his students, and even his fellow teacher, Shota Aizawa has called him an idiot a few times.

While he is seen smiling, laughing, and cheerful most of the time, he is extremely protective of his students, and is shown to be furious when he learned Villains were trying to get to him through his students. Even Izuku was surprised to see such a reaction. He was willing to use his Quirk beyond his time limit in order to save his students.

He possesses a fatherly attitude towards his students (Izuku in particular), which he often hides and keeps to himself. He is quick to give encouraging advice to them when the situation calls for it. He is proud of their accomplishments.

  • "I really am pathetic. Even though I admonished you, I wasn't putting what I said into practice! Pros are always risking their lives!"

  • "I smile to show the pressure of heroes and to trick the fear inside of me."

  • "I cannot simply say 'you can become a hero even without power."

Shoto has a cold, aloof personality which stems from his harsh upbringing. He is quite seasoned in battle, being able to stay calm and composed even while fighting real villains. Though brutal in combat, he is well grounded on the ethics of heroism, only wishing to subdue his frozen opponents as opposed to killing them through prolonging their frozen states. After the events of the U.A. Sports Festival, Shoto still has a distant attitude, but has become noticeably more sociable, even gaining a sense of humor and occasionally smiling.
Shoto had a deep loathing for his fire power, which he inherited from Endeavor, as it symbolized his father's wickedness towards him and his mother as well as what he was born for: a tool to surpass All Might, a fate that he detests. As such, Shoto decided to rely only on his ice power and never to use his fire power in combat, going so far as to cover his left torso and arm with ice in his first Hero Costume to symbolize his rebellion against his father.

  • "Never using my bastard of a father's Quirk... No.. By rising to the top without using it... I'll have denied him everything."

  • "Should we have let people die, all in the name of your "law"?! Isn't it a hero's job to save people?"

  • "If you wanna stop this, then stand up! Because I've just got one thing to say to you! Never forget who you want to become!"

Role assigned to: windlighthub

Tenya may look severe, but he's actually a very straightforward, earnest, intelligent and serious person. He tends to take everything very seriously, and because of this, he has a habit of jumping to conclusions, then enthusiastically speaking or acting based on said conclusions. For example, after assuming that Izuku had figured out the true nature of the U.A. Entrance Exam, Tenya acknowledged him as a worthy peer and has since held him in high esteem. All this enthusiasm leads Tenya to be hyperactive and intense, having some involuntary body tics such as moving his arms around in strange patterns and sometimes twitching his own body uncontrollably.
Tenya is extremely dedicated to his studies and always eager to learn new things. As Class 1-A's representative, Tenya is obsessed with organization and discipline, expecting his classmates to follow suit, which more often than not annoys them. At the same time, Tenya takes personal responsibility over the safety of his classmates, considering it his duty as class representative to protect and keep them away from dangerous situations.

Tenya is also a very humble person, willing to admit his mistakes and improve himself in areas he is lacking. This became clear when Tenya admitted that seeking vengeance against Stain was not the way a real Hero should act, deciding to leave his damaged left hand unhealed as a reminder of his recklessness and also as a motivation to pursue true heroism. Tenya also values honor and fair play, and will become angered if it turns out that he is being manipulated.

  • "I'm a novice. I can't measure up to their standards! Be that as may... I have to stand up! Never again! Never again will they... or my brother... leave me behind in the dust!"

  • "Wanting to do it and being suitable for it are different issues."

Role assigned to: Jindusmer

Fumikage has a reserved, serious and focused personality. Though he does not talk very much, he has been shown directly ignoring questions or requests that seem in some way pointless (like Tenya asking him to not sit on the desk) while he talks to other people as some sort of ongoing joke. When Fumikage teams up with others, he becomes more sociable, helping his teammates out, reassuring his trust in them and thanking them for their effort.
He appears to be fond of darkness and other related concepts, sometimes coming off as a slightly dramatic, having a tendency to say dramatic things about situations that don't quite deserve them, such as calling a recreational game on their school trip a "mad banquet of darkness". Despite this, he is also shown to be embarrassed about his interests to a certain degree, refusing to let his classmates see his gloomy room. Fumikage also seems to have a certain level of belief in the concept of fate and destiny.

Denki is somewhat flirtatious towards the girls of his class (and even the ones from other classes), trying to pass himself off as a smooth talker. He is not very lucky with his approaches though, frequently getting ignored or outright rejected by everyone. He is also slightly mischievous, joining in pranks occasionally. Overall, it appears that Denki has an interest in looking cool in front of others, but has a shallow understanding of how to do it.
Denki is not very academically bright, requiring help when it comes to studying. He does not appear to show much interest in classes and tends to become nervous in regards to tests. Despite this, he can show surprising knowledge about certain areas such as literature. His overall lack of wit often makes him a common victim of snark, in particular from Kyoka Jiro.

During combat situations, he is very quick to panic, leading him to activate his Quirk in anticipation. He also becomes more reluctant to use his full power when there are allies close to him, being afraid of hurting them through collateral damage. When he is assured that all his allies will be safe from his powers, he becomes more confident in his fighting abilities. He also does not tolerate others looking down on him or his classmates.

Eijiro is a very boisterous, outgoing guy with a fondness for the concept of manliness, often using the terms "manly" and "unmanly" to describe stuff he does or doesn't like. Those who showcase a noble, brave or determined attitude tend to emotionally move him to tears, quickly earning his complete admiration, respect and friendship. Similarly, he will call out traits that are the opposite of that, such as cowardice and dirty play. He is also a big fan of Crimson Riot, a retro hero that he takes inspiration from, including his own hero name.
Eijiro is honest and kind-hearted, with All Might praising his heroic spirit. In addition, he seems capable of making friends with most people, as he is one of the few classmates who is friends with both Katsuki Bakugo and Izuku Midoriya. Eijiro is very dedicated to his friends and is even willing to break the law and the rules in order to help them, showing regret if he becomes unable to do so.

  • "When I heard that they were after my buddy...I couldn't do anything!! I didn't do anything!! If I don't act now...forget being a hero, I'm not even a man!"

Regardless of having his Quirk referred to as evil throughout his life, Hitoshi desires to become a Hero more than anything. He has a deep longing to become a Pro-Hero and disprove everyone who has doubted his heroic intent

Not only does he want to refute those who shame his abilities, but he also aspires to usurp students who walk the path towards becoming a Pro-Hero, as he wished to.

He also appears to be Quite resentful to those with Quirks more practical for becoming Pro-Heroes. He constantly berated Izuku for being blessed with a "heroic Quirk" during their match.

  • "Maybe I failed this time, but... I'm not giving up. I'll show them I've got what it takes to make the hero course, and I'll become a greater hero than all of you."

He tends to have a one-track mind, and is very straightforward in his solutions to problems, as shown with his eagerness to charge straight into a fight with Mustard. He has very simple solutions to problems, and will often go about things in the most direct manner. He also tends to be vocal about his intentions.
Tetsutetsu is very determined to improve himself, as he apologized to his teacher for doing bad and vowed to do better. When villains attacked, he took the chance to expose himself to danger and grow from it. When in these fights, he is tenacious and unwilling to back down, relying on brute strength to get through rather than use much strategy.

Neito is shown to be calm, collected, and intelligent. Among Class-B's students, he's the most fervent about wanting to topple Class-A's popularity. He is also disagreeable, sarcastic, and vocal. He seems to be jealous of Class-A's popularity, but also worries that the fact that they are always getting into trouble will get the rest of the school in trouble too. When he hears that Class-A fails in some way, he will usually laugh out loud and passive-aggressively ask how it's impossible for them to fail since they are meant to be the superior class. He is shown to have somewhat of an inferiority complex, as he takes whatever opportunities he can get to mock and challenge, one up and surpass anyone in Class 1-A. This even extends to mocking himself in order to mock the students in 1-A who had to take remedial lessons during the School Trip Arc, despite he himself being the only one from class 1-B having to also take remedial lessons. He's been quoted by people as being mentally unstable, but this is more than likely a joke regarding his obsession with overtaking class 1-A.

He can also be very hypocritical, criticizing others for perceived perverted behavior even if they turn out to be misunderstandings. His interest in women is one of his motivations to become a hero, alongside general popularity.
Minoru easily freaks out in moments of great stress or fear, acting in an impulsive way, crying when the situation does not look favorable and abusing his Quirk recklessly, to the point of hurting himself in the process. He is quite unashamed of those traits, openly admitting them out loud.

His expression rarely changes from a closed smile, even while he speaks or gets hurt. He's also prone to getting upset if interrupted or questioned.
However, this is shown to be mostly a farce, as Yuga does hold some insecurities about his Quirk, and in reality, he doesn't see himself as above anyone else. He seems to view himself as different to other people for some reason, wishing to be put on equal footing with everyone else.

Yuga is also easily frightened by danger and prefers to hide rather than fight, though he can still help out a friend as long as he remains safe. At the same time, he is not above sacrificing himself for the sake of another person. However, Ochaco can be awfully blunt without being aware of it at times.

Similar to Izuku Midoriya, her reactions tend to be exaggerated and humorous: Ochaco often becomes amused at certain personality traits and quirks others may exhibit, sometimes to the point of bursting into laughter which she tries to suppress to some extent. Because of her humble background, she easily gets excited or surprised over little things and may even lose her composure when faced with actual luxury, to the point of nearly fainting. Bonus materials have depicted Ochaco as stingy, since she goes to extreme lengths to save money.

Despite Momo's serious nature, she can get roped into silly situations with the rest of her class such as cheerleading, although she rarely expresses enthusiasm in doing so. Also, when she shows her excitement (usually towards passing time with her classmates), she becomes quite upbeat and adorably "bouncy", adding a bit of comedy to her character.
While she can be very blunt with her explanations about the mistakes and situations of others when asked, this is because Momo wants her fellow students to improve and become great heroes, proving to be very caring and empathetic. As such, Momo is quite willing to help her classmates study with her, also seeming to deeply enjoy being in a teaching position.

While acting confident in her abilities, Momo had the tendency to compare herself to other people such as Shoto Todoroki, and believed them to be better than her, which made her self-esteem fall to the point of having inner conflicts with making choices. However, Momo has become much more objective and confident thanks to Shoto's encouragement, learning that all people have different skills and priorities, as well as all beings are incomplete as they need their motives to complement themselves; in her case being a hero.

Endeavor has been described by his son as a prideful and ambitious man driven by his resentment towards All Might. His desire to surpass the number one hero has spilled out into his children, whom he only "created" in hopes of having an offspring that could surpass All Might.
This obsession takes priority over his family, and this has completely ruined Endeavor's relationship with his son. He clearly only cares for himself and his goals alone, shown when he constantly abused Shoto and his mother during his childhood. Even so he constantly pushes Shoto to try and surpass himself and All Might. He uses Shoto as a tool to further himself and went as far to call his other children "things" who live in a different world then he and Shoto.
The only times he appeared to be even remotely proud of his talented son is when he used his flames during the U.A. Sports Festival,[5] and when he chose Endeavor's agency for workplace training. Most of their other interactions normally involve Endeavor reminding Shoto he has a duty to become stronger than All Might.

Hizashi maintains the persona of a radio host. He often poses when he talks and keeps a certain level of excitement or loudness regardless of the situation. His attitude made Kyoka Jiro mistake him for a simple announcer rather than an actual Pro-Hero.
When in front of a crowd of people, he often attempts to bring his audience up to his level by getting them involved (he sometimes refers to them as his 'listeners', even while on a live stage). He will continue to act this way regardless of the crowds' response.

Present Mic has a great aversion to bugs, to the point where he faints when too many are in his general vicinity. He admits to much preferring urban areas to forested ones.

Mt. Lady is a young woman who seems to enjoy the attention that being a hero gives her and she does not feel any remorse from having to take that fame from another hero while basking in the glory. However, she is not careless, as shown that she won't transform into her giant form in confined spaces in fear of destroying nearby buildings and she is careful when fighting a villain who has taken hostages. She is also shown to be vain as she uses her sex appeal to further her popularity. Even though she is vain, she has shown to be selfless as she stopped Mr. Compress from reaching Izuku's group even though she was heavily injured.

Initially Gran Torino appeared to be a senile old man who constantly forgot and asked Izuku's name, often calling him "Toshinori". Even though he was the one who sent Izuku the internship offer, he would fail to recall Izuku's name for more than a moment. In reality, this proves to be a nothing more than a facade for messing with his newfound protege.
Gran Torino is actually a very intelligent man with incredibly broad perception. He proved to be a far more capable teacher to Izuku in a mere week then All Might did in almost a year. He was able to read Izuku's progress and personality just by watching the U.A. Sports Festival and indirectly taught him the first step to mastering One For All with a simple parallel between Izuku and his favorite dessert. His sharp mind is also evidenced when he was able to accurately predict All For One's strategy based solely on the media covering the aftermath of Hero Killer Stain.

They are very passionate about Quirks, specifically on the topic of using quirks for creation and assistance rather than for destruction and battle.
Thirteen has also been shown to be very brave. Despite not being a combat type, they do not hesitate to use their Quirk to fight against villains in the name of protecting others.

Compared to his younger brother, Tensei is far more laid back with an easygoing attitude. When he took up the hero mantle of his family his image for himself was that he wanted to 'be cool' and be the type of hero that helps others when they are in need. He was joyful that his younger brother admired his work as a hero as a result.
He also believes that being able to rescue people quickly is what makes a great hero, and that people want to be rescued in a hurry and value being saved quickly. He also values teamwork, believing that having a large group where everyone serves a specific purpose is the easiest way to rescue people quickly.

Although working as a Hero, he is lenient on laws. Unlike his younger brother, he doesn't scold others for using their quirk in public but instead helps them develop them. He also suggested the notion of taking on a sidekick who didn't have a Provisional Hero License which is against the law, citing that he could 'earn his qualification little by little'.

Role assigned to: Jyu Viole Grace

Tomura has a sinister and warped personality; he doesn't care for his or anyone else's life, and he will do whatever it takes to accomplish his goals. He has no qualms about tasks such as killing U.A. High School students in order to provoke All Might and threatening to kill dozens of civilians unless Izuku cooperated with him.
Tomura seems to be looking for attention, as he was very irritated that his League of Villains and Nomu were overshadowed by the capture of the Hero Killer. As such, he will get angry when somebody admires or even mentions Stain.

Tomura may have an adult body, but he seems to be childish in mindset. He is very arrogant, selfish, and demanding. If things do no go his way, he becomes angry in a way that is akin to a child's tantrum. Like a child, he does not seem to be able to cope with his own feelings, and instead lashes out, abusing both others and himself, such as tearing at his own neck when he becomes frustrated. He is shown to be mentally disturbed, and has developed somewhat of an emotional dependency on the hand that obscures his face, which he refers to as "Father" and speaks to it as if it were a living person.

Chizome is a cold, unforgiving man with a sense of duty to cleanse society of false heroes. He believes that those who work as Heroes to collect income are unworthy of being called the name and only All Might is a true hero. Due to his strong ideology, Chizome took it upon himself to become Hero Killer: Stain to stain his own hands with blood to purge fake heroes and change the current society.
Chizome does not wish to kill those who are not targets for his own cause. He dislikes needless bloodshed and came to blows with Tomura Shigaraki because of it. He was reluctant to attack Tenya Iida before the hero in training provoked him. He even told Tenya the true traits of a hero in contrast of those who desire to use their Quirks in selfish ways. Chizome spared Izuku Midoriya because he showed characteristics of a true hero. He believes heavily in creeds and convictions, stating that they are needed in order to accomplish anything and that without them people are weak and will eventually die.

  • "To truly accomplish anything... one needs will and conviction. Those without it... the weak ones.. They'll be weeded out. It's only natural. That's why you're about to die."

Himiko is a very cheerful girl, to the point of smiling even after having presumably killed someone, displaying apparent sadistic tendencies Even when danger is imminent, as when Tomura Shigaraki was about to attack her, Himiko continues smiling She's also frequently seen blushing, though seemingly out of excitement rather than embarrassment, giving her a permanent somewhat lovesick look on her face. That said, she has shown that she can easily be embarrassed, when thinks people are coming on to her or when she is naked when copying clothes of the people she has transformed into. She is quite courageous, or at least very confident in her Quirk, as she impersonated an aspiring hero and took part in an exam that gathered multiple students of heroics and pro heroes.
Himiko has stated that she finds life to be difficult and wants to make the world an easier place to live in. She looks up to Stain and sees him as her role model; however, at the same time, she has declared a desire to kill and "become" him.

  • "I wanna be Mr. Stainy! I wanna kill Mr. Stainy! So lemme join you, Tomura!"

  • "Ochaco... You're a lovely one too. You've got the same scent as me. There's someone you're crushing on. And you're thinking you wanna be just like him. I can tell. One maiden to another. All For One has a sinister, twisted, and methodical personality, able to coordinate multiple plans simultaneously. According to All Might, All For One is manipulative and exploits people; All For One also appears to be a misanthropist, as All Might noted that he laughs and scorns humanity for their continued hardships.
Perhaps due to his confidence, he has a calm and condescending demeanor, confident even when thwarted All For One prefers to use forceful actions rather than emotional words.

All For One believes that his protégé, Tomura Shigaraki, has the ideal conditions to succeed him and continue his legacy. Still, All For One is aware of Tomura's general immaturity and tries to teach him how to grow as a Villain, although, unlike All Might, his methods of teaching are indirect.

He came off as quite impatient, as he wanted to get rid of the Pro Heroes and Police Force attacking the League of Villains as soon as possible. However, it's possible that his body has a limit and he only wanted to do what he had to before the limit was reached.

  • "I know that boy will rise to the occasion. He was born twisted. So enjoy it while you can, All Might... This transient peace of yours!"

What the actual fuck is her name

--------------------------------

Shoto's mother was kind, caring and loving towards Shoto and in return, he loved her deeply. She would always support Shoto such as trying to stop her husband's mad training methods and encouraging her son to become the man he wants to be, indicating her selflessness.

However, the constant abuse that she received from her husband caused her to become mentally unstable, to the point that one day she snapped upon seeing Shoto's left side, which reminded her of Endeavor. This caused her to throw a kettle of boiling water she had near her over her son's face, burning him. She did not, however, do this out of hatred for Shoto, but rather due to her mental instability.

  • "But you want to be a hero, right? That's fine. You're not... bound by his blood. Decide who you want to become. And be all you can be."
