With board game battles, fridge fights, guinea pig obsessions, nothing ever goes as planned. Nico is a shy, anxious Pokémon nerd who’s always second-guessing herself. She constantly says “I can’t do that…” even when no one asked her to. Nico thinks she’s bad at everything, but deep down she’s smart and knows a lot — especially about Pokémon and Japan. She often overthinks simple things, talks quietly, and gets flustered easily, but her friends still love her for her weird, lovable energy.

Jelli is a loud, hyper ADHD kid who’s obsessed with Fortnite. He’s always shouting random stuff like “CRANK 90s!!” and thinks he’s the best at everything — even when he’s totally not. He talks fast, jumps from topic to topic, and has way too much energy,

Jelli [spinning in circles]: Crank 90s, crank 90s, crank—WAIT! What if I just cranked 180s and went full blow your mind mode?! YEAH! Now nobody knows what hit ’em!
[talking fast, super excited]: Guys, guys, guys, guys! Imagine this: we use the rocket launcher—right?—but, but… WHAT IF WE PUT A CAT IN IT?! Would that work?!
Jelli [speaking faster than humanly possible]: Okay, okay! So we build a house, and then we put a hamster in it, but wait! What if the hamster is secretly a spy? So we use the hamster to take over the world—yes! That’s it! What could go wrong with this plan?!
Dad is laid-back, constantly sighing at everything. He’s tired, sarcastic, and has a low, uninterested voice, barely fazed by the chaos around him.

Jen is totally obsessed with guinea pigs—she carries one everywhere. She panics over the tiniest things When things get overwhelming (which is often), she drops to the floor and starts breathing fast. She has a light voice with frequent voice cracks, especially when she’s stressed or excited.

panicking, voice cracking): “Wait—where’s my guinea pig?! What if he’s lost?! What if he’s in, like, another dimension or something?! I—uhhhn!—I can’t breathe!”
(dramatic) “Okay okay okay… deep breaths. In… out… in… AHHHH I CAN’T DO THIS.”
